Overlook the surf and sand from the balcony of this eighth-floor oceanfront condo! Just steps to Sea Colony's half-mile of private guarded beach, not to mention the community's oceanfront pools and fitness room, this one-level layout features a living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, and den. Central air-conditioning, washer, dryer and more. Accessible without stairs. 3 TVs, DVD, Stereo w/ CD, Wifi.

Sea Colony - The Premier Family Beach & Tennis Resort Community - features a half mile of private beach, 12 pools (2 indoor), world class tennis, fitness centers, activities for all ages, community shuttle and year-round security. Sea Colony is ranked among Tennis magazine's Best U.S. Resorts and by Tennis Resorts Online as one of the finest in the world.

You are required to check in at the Marketplace Office, located at the following address:
33546 Marketplace
Bethany Beach, DE 19930

Hours of Operation:
9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Hours will vary seasonally. Office closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.)

Directions to Office:
From the North: Route 1 south, right onto West Way, right at the stop sign.
From the South: Route 1 north, left onto West Way, right at the stop sign.

Our office is in the middle of the shopping center. The Marketplace Office is located in the Marketplace Shopping Center, across from the Sea Colony high-rise buildings. (33546 Marketplace Bethany Beach, DE 19930).

If you arrive after hours, you will still need to visit the office to obtain your check-in packet. A phone number will be posted on the building; call this number and customer service will give you the code to open the lockbox and retrieve your packet.

Please note that all keys must be returned to the office when you check out. In the event that a key is lost/not returned upon check-out, a charge will be applied to your reservation to cover the replacement cost.

2025 Sea Colony Recreational Association Fees (paid on-site per person, per week required for all guests 4 and older)

Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Could have potential

As a long time Sea Colony guest we have wonderful experiences at this destination. Sadly this particular unit is below par compared to what we have typically come expect. With some investment it could be a gem.

Very pleased!

From the ease of booking through Vacasa and the comfortable beach vibe of our room, this vacation was a success! The location of Harbour House in my opinion was at a perfect spot to enjoy the attractions around us and had a great view of the ocean!

This unit should not be for rent

Terrible unit. Not clean. WiFi didn’t work and the local team was not very responsive to solving the issues. We checked out two days early. Do not rent this unit.

The mice almost had a good time.

This was our second trip to the Sea Colony facility. Same building different unit. Our first night while watching TV we noticed a large mouse watching the TV with us. We startled it and it proceeded to crawl into the pull out bed in the living room. We took it apart as much as we could but to no avail. Next day we called Vacasa as the security people advised and received no reply. Went to the local store, purchased mouse traps and peanut butter. The results were excellent two traps two mice. Next day rinse and repeat. Furniture in this unit is shot. Beds are as hard as the floor. Carpet is rough and most lights in the unit either are out or just don't work. BYOTV. Tiny sets and limited controllers. The unit is centrally located and despite all of the negatives my family overlooked them and had a good time. I'm blessed to be around so many great family members.

Great Family Getaway

A subpar stay

The dishwasher wouldn't work, which we reported promptly after arriving. We were told someone would come fix it, but no one did. The master bedroom window blinds don't shut/pull down, so there was a lack of privacy. Also reported with no follow up taken. Cleanliness was lacking, as it was severely dusty most places. We did enjoy the beach front location and access to indoor swimming. Not impressed with the automated system and policies that failed to address any of our concerns during our stay.

Short Stay

We had only booked this condo for a weekend and we are glad it was not longer than that. The condo is worn, dirty and does not have the basics for a stay with 6 people which is less than the listing posts for accommodations. There was dust and dirt on faux plants, the top of the refridgerator and ceiling fans. The beds are old and mattresses are very worn. The kitchen is not stocked with drinkware or utensils and the cabinet door was broken. The shower and tub were clean on surface, but the deeper dirt was embedded in them.

Great amenities

The Sea Colony area is lovely. The amenities and fitness center are wonderful, and access to the beach and the beautiful swimming pools are top notch. But the condo we rented was very old, outdated and the appliances barely working. Unfortunately the dish washer was broken as well as one of the ceiling fans and televisions in one of the bedrooms. Also the mattresses were very old, lumpy and uncomfortable. If I rent in Sea Colony again, it would be a different unit. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

810 Harbour House

The only thing nice about this property was that it was right on the beach with a great view. The place was dirty and had leftover toys and other items from previous renters. There was a broken broom to use to clean the floor so sand got everywhere. The kitchen had hardly any utensils to use to cook. The can opener is rusty. There are storage lockers where you park but the owners don’t let you use them so there was no place to store beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, and toys. The mattresses are all uncomfortable. I also feel like it would be hard to have 8 adults stay here. Not a lot of room. We had 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and 1 baby and felt like there was no room. The place is also cluttered with the owners stuff. The closets are all full of junk. Everything about sea colony was really great! We enjoyed the pools and splash pad area for the kids. You only get two parking passes which is the only down fall of sea colony.

Good location but run down place

We stayed for 2 1/2 days at this location. The proximity to the beach as well as accessibility to the pools was the best part of this vacation. The apartment in itself had many aspects that were not desirable. The kitchen also was not clean, the drawers were not well supplied, floors had gum on them, the bedskirt was ripped, the shower curtain was falling off the railing, floor mats were ripped, things were just thrown into the bedroom wardrobe's, overall it just did not have a good well taken care of healing.

Stay here as a last resort

If you want waterfront and nothing else is available, then this place will do. TV didn't work and Vacasa never responded to our calls for assistance, Furniture is functional, but outdated and some is worn. Dishes don't match and some were dirty. Balcony furniture is rusted and balcony rug is stained and desperately in need of vacuuming. One gets the sense someone is making a lot of money off the rentals but not putting any of it back into the unit. But views of the ocean and the sounds of the waves are fantastic.

We loved The view and sound of the ocean from the patio and as we slept. We really disliked the dirty, dilapidated living room furniture and the old, dirty bedspreads and blankets. Wine glasses needed in the kitchen. This condo and bathrooms are badly in need of updating. We will return to Sea Colony but in an updated condo

Ocean views made it worthwhile!

Began searching in May 2021 for an oceanfront rental in August for me, my kids, parents, sister and niece. This was a tough find during Covid… this condo was literally all we could find. It ended up being quite expensive, especially after factoring in the $45/person resort fee that was collected by the resort itself after we made the booking. However we were very happy with the condo and the resort. The unit was clean, the AC was comfortable and the views from the balcony were beautiful! The unit could do with some refreshing: the mattresses in the master and 2nd bedroom were SO NOISY and the master mattress had a terrible dip in the middle. Closets were full of a collection of pillows and extra blankets that were thrown in there- total mess… we used one blanket on the pullout couch only to find it full of sand. The door to the balcony was extremely difficult to open- I.e. it took all your body weight and two hands to tug it open and closed. Also the toaster malfunctioned and almost caught fire because it didn’t auto-turnoff. Bring your own dischclothes and towels, none provided. There was also a really nasty black mold situation going on in the 2nd bathroom at the base of the shower stall. And the lid to that toilet was missing! I’m listing lots of things that could be improved with just alittle attention from the owners or Vacasa. Overall as I said my family truly enjoyed our stay.

Great view from the balcony

The ocean was right there! Great view from the balcony and the beach was very nice…big, clean and pretty easy to access. The place is in desperate need of an update and regular maintenance-especially for the cost.

Great location - put some rental $$ back in to the property!

The location can’t be beat - amazing views, easy beach access, amenities, parking… The issues come within the unit. The mattresses are very old and box springs creak mercilessly anytime an occupant moves. The carpet inside and on the porch must go - it triggered a major allergy event. These two basic updates are not an unreasonable ask, and the onus is on property owners and management to maintain a healthy and comfortable environment for guests. With a a little investment, this property could be a gem.

Too expensive for what you get...

The view was spectacular and location was great for families with children. HOWEVER, my main complaint is that the property needs to be updated. Every single bed in the property squeaks so much that it is impossible to get a good nights sleep. Seriously, every time you move, you wake yourself up. Bring your own pillows. They smell bad! Also, it's time to get some new living room furniture. It should be thrown out it was so bad. I wouldn't even sit on it without a towel. Again, great location, but I wouldn't do it again for the price. For that I amount I expect a good nights sleep and clean furniture to sit on.

Good condo

This was a nice condo. I would stay here again, but there were some minor issues with the place -- the toilet kept running, the place could have been cleaner, and there was a gross ball of hair stuck to the wall near one of the beds. It was fine for 2 nights, but I would recommend a thorough cleaning and a maintenance check.

Perfect for a Bachelorette Party!

We enjoyed our long weekend at Sea Colony! The property was exactly as listed and we could tell it had been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. There was the perfect amount of space and the proximity to the beach was a amazing. We would recommend!

Nice time at the beach

Location was great and private beach a huge plus. The unit we stayed in was nice overall. The mattress in the queen master was terrible. Very squeaky and old. Definitely time to get another mattress. For the price we paid to stay on the beach night time sleeping wasn't very good.
