INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

The condo was amazing. The cleanliness was outstanding considering it’s on a beach. I absolutely love the view! And on a plus all elevators were working!

Nice Unit

Condo was very nice. Location close to our son in the military. Road noise on the deck can get a little annoying. But the views are spectacular.

Loved it!

Very clean unit. I loved the lighting in the living room. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware, etc. Easy check in and check out. I wish we could find a condo like this whenever we go to different beaches!

I was extremely impressed how the pictures matched how the condo actually looked. Most of the time everything looks better in pictures but not in actuality, but that was not the case here. The condo was just beautiful and clean. The best vacation I have been on!!

Spring Break

We had an amazing week at Sunrise. The condo was exactly as pictured and very clean. I will say that the king bed in the master was so comfortable that we purchased the same mattress when we returned. Everyone was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions. We definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you!

Spring break 2021

Our stay was fabulous! Everything we needed was in the condo. The property was so nice. It would have been nice to have beach chairs included in our stay. Our only detriment to review was the beds. The mattresses were hard and lumpy and not very comfortable.

Family vacation

The property was perfect. The floor plan couldn’t have been any better for our group. But I wish the kitchen cookware would have been better. The pans need to be replaced. I know that stuff gets a lot of use but they could afford to replace stuff when it wears out.

Great property but the management company could improve

Our friends booked another condo in the same building which is how we ended up here. The condo itself was great! Comfortable balcony furniture was at the top of my priority list and it did not disappoint. Everything about the room, pool, and beach was great! The biggest negative for me was the additional fees not listed on the VRBO site. Especially since it was non-refundable it felt inappropriate. The communication was easy and I got fast responses especially when I needed them.

1801 corner unit

The condo was beautiful as was the view. All 3 of the mattresses were so hard and uncomfortable (the worst I’ve ever slept on) that we all had trouble sleeping and woke up hurting. Also, the balcony furniture was way more comfortable than the living room furniture. We had to put the extra couch cushions on top of the couch cushions already on just to be somewhat comfortable. It was a beautiful unit, but definitely not worth the price when it comes to comfort.

Lots of good thing to say.

Overall, nice place. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Well described in listings. Great location - walked to several good restaurants. Perfect Beach. Nice heated pool which was great in December - cold December at that. Good parking -easy to load and unload with carts.. A few upgrades would make it even better. Better cleaning- lamps, ceiling fans, bathrooms. You should put all the baby equipment in your listing. Didn't affect us but would save a young family a lot. I'd remove or put a caveat to the "free" things every day of your stay. The only thing we were eligible for was free golf every day - which we don't play. Property manager was helpful even though not their program. And finally - one of the security guards took their job a little too seriously. Questioning everyone about their wrist bands- which we didn't know about and were not in the condo. Property manager delivered within 2 hours. Questioned us several times even though we were there a week and don't look like trespassers. Made my 8yo grandchild fearful of being kicked out. Maybe this is a problem in season and maybe the home owners want it this way. A little off-putting for visitors. Might stay someplace more welcoming. Suggestion - get a new guest book. Several pages torn out. Bad reviews? Overall good week. Condo feels like a "rental."

Panhandle was a great company to stay with

Sunrise Beach Resort was out of water for 2 full days of our trip so we had to leave the resort with small children from 9-5 each day which was an issue but in the end Panhandle the owner of the condo did compensate us for our trouble. We loved the condo thank you.
