Yough Nest Bungalow (Half Home - Convenient Location & Beautiful View)

Located one block away from the Great Allegheny Passage, Yough Nest Bungalow offers a riverfront view of the Youghiogheny River. It accommodates two guests with a spacious living area, a small outdoor deck(located in the front), and decor that is modern in style. Being split into two separate units, the front half of the home is reserved for guests and has a view of the river; the back half of the home and side porch are private and are where the owners live. PLEASE BE AWARE if you have allergies or phobias of cats; we have two very friendly cats (Rocket and Slash) that live outside and like to visit with guests on the front porch. Additionally, we provide a variety of snacks, K-cups and and coffee creamer.

We stayed here for a last minute booking for new years to ski at seven springs for a few days and this place was perfect! We were able to bring my dog who loved the snow. We did lose heat one night but the host was very responsive and brought us a space heater right away and had it resolved by the early morning. We would stay here again

Check-in was easy property was clean and it was very easy to find right off of the great Allegheny passage. It was a perfect place for my husband and I for our one night stay before continuing onto Cumberland the next day

Perfect stopover for bike riders on GAP Very comfortable and host lives on site. We would stay here again and town has a lot to offer as well.

Comfortable bungalow

Comfortable accommodations. I loved the large round lounge chair, I fell asleep in it. Very clean and many amenities. Location is amazing, right by the river. I would stay here again.

Nice clean place to stay!

Loved the Confluence location on the river, and the "guard" cats that kept us safe! Very clean and as advertised. Our only negative was the cushioned chairs in the living room were worn and hard to sit in. Enjoyed our stay.

We loved the location! So much beauty all around. It is close to the river and a few minute drive to the lake. Also, Ohiopyle is only about 20 minutes away. The bungalow was neat and clean and it was just right for two people. The bed was really comfortable. And best of all I loved the visits from the kitties.

Wonderful stay!!

We loved our stay! The host was very accommodating, the location is great, and the house is cozy! We didn’t have the best weather so we spent more time expected indoors. We loved it! We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect GAP trail stayover

My wife and I stayed at The Bungalow for a night on our ride of the gap trail. It is beautiful, right on the river, and 1 minute from The Gap trail. Couldn't have asked for a more Charming spot for r&r. Highly recommend. Brandy is responsive and a great host.

I am originally from Confluence and I’ve lived here my whole. I have been a teacher for 25 years and have three children.I decided to rent my property as an extra source of income. It is not only my rental, but it is my personal home in the back.
I welcome guests to stay, but they must realize that this is my private residence in the back of the rental. There may be smells that come from my kitchen and home that you may not be familiar with, but again it is my personal home. If you have problems, you need to contact me as the home owner to resolve any issues. Refunds will not be made for smells, especially if the owner is not made directly aware during the time of your stay that there is an issue that can be resolved.
