Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This off-grid tiny home is powered by hydroelectricity sourced from the nearby stream. Step outside of your comfort zone with your favorite amenities; bamboo mattress, strong WIFI, full bath, and equipped kitchen. With only one bed and one bathroom, this is the perfect retreat for couples looking to spend time getting back to the basics

This tiny house has one main room with an attached bath. The total usable indoor square footage is 324 square feet. The main room includes a bed, chair and end table, kitchen and kitchen table.

Peaceful Cabin in the Woods

This cabin is the perfect place to escape the craziness of life. There is complete privacy with only the sights and sounds of nature. The cabin is immaculate, well maintained, and had everything we needed. It's an extra bonus that it is environmentally conscious. We enjoyed exploring Confluence, Ohiopyle and Mount Davis. Often times we had the trails/ roads to ourselves.

GREAT getaway!

a most enjoyable, relaxing, cozy spot to refresh our spirits., off the grid and off the beaten path on a road less traveled. so GREAT FULL to have access to such a delightful space.thank you, thank you, thank you.

Stayed July '23 for our Anniversary weekend. Loved the cabin. Would stay again! Hubby was a little concerned about no AC, but we opened a couple windows and were plenty cool enough.

Perfect Getaway Location

We loved this place. Its secluded, beautiful location is exactly as advertised. The house itself is perfect for two people - clean, comfortable, with a complete kitchen if you want to cook. The off grid system is an interesting concept if you’re curious about the idea. If not, you’ll never know it’s not on grid.

この宿泊施設の特徴

This tiny house is powered by a hydro electric system. The nearby stream supplies water to turn the hydro generator. Electricity is stored in batteries until it is needed. The electrical usage in this house has been greatly reduced due to a number of decisions in how the cabin is used. We have chosen to have a propane refrigerator, stove, hot water heater, and heat for the cabin. These appliances have helped us to greatly reduce the amount of electrical usage. We have also used only LED lights throughout the cabin. Due to our choice for low electrical usage we have opted NOT to have a TV, microwave, toaster or coffee maker. (For your coffee we have a French Press.) You can bring your own laptop or other devices to watch online media if you really feel the need, but we encourage you to unplug and enjoy the beauty that is all around you. Our cabin has a regular 110V house system. Thus you can bring you things like laptops, CPAP machines or other devices that you use at your home, but please keep in mind we are trying to use as little electric as possible. If too much electric is used then the batteries will completely discharge and you will need to wait for the batteries to recharge before electricity is available.
