Perfect location. Very clean, amazing view and walkable to town and open air taxi’s to the beaches and windmill. Loved taking a quick dip in the pool post a day at the beach! Communication with the host was quick and very helpful. Highly recommended.

The communications from JP and team were outstanding prior to my arrival and during my stay. The re was a welcome note and basket in the fridge, with deli items and a few local beverages. The unit was great overall and very convenient to Cruz Bay bars/restaurants. I am planning on coming back next year and can’t wait to stay here again!

Wonderful Views

We had a fantastic time staying here during the week of New Years this year. Would highly recommend for anyone coming to stay in St. John. The view from the balcony and pool were great.

Lavender Hill 4W

We really enjoyed staying here. Everything was as advertised. Communication with the property management was excellent on arrival and departure. The unit was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Plus, St. John is an awesome island!!!!

Lavender hill

Great location! walked to all of the restaurants and shops. Loved having the beach chairs and coolers. Beautifully decorated and very clean.

Wonderful!

Absolutely spotless condo, very comfortable bed, gorgeous view, everything you need for the beaches and to prepare for your food, and just a few minutes walk to the open air safaris that will drop you off to all the north shore beaches. Pool was very relaxing as well. Great vacation!

Great week in Cruz Bay

This was a great spot to explore St. John. We hiked to honeymoon beach a few times, explored other beaches around the island and enjoyed all the convenient restaraunts in Cruz Bay. The location is easily walkable to town and you don’t necessarily need a car to explore from here. The kitchen was wall stocked and equipped. We’ll be back!

Sorry to hear the music from town bothered you and thank you for the kind words about our condo. Don’t want to leave the impression we have bars across the street, we do not. We have a beautiful view of Cruz Bay. The music likely came from the Beach Bar down the hill which, we love to go. Most restaurants will play live music especially during peak vacation season. Wonderful Location

This property was perfect. The condo was clean, very well decorated, and stocked with everything you could need. The location was amazing. Great daily view of Cruz Bay and easy walk to great places for dinner each night. The owners were fantastic. They sent us a list of great hikes, beaches, and restaurants and we just worked down the list. The property management company was great. Very communicative and started our week with delicious foods from the delicious North Shore Cafe. Can’t wait to come back.

Cruz Bay, St. John

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Lavender Hill Suites over New Year’s Eve. The view was amazing as was the location into town for dinner. We absolutely enjoyed having the use of beach chairs, towels and a cooler for the beach. We did rent a jeep and visited many beaches and hiking trails, but our favorite trail was accessible in Cruz Bay behind the National Park Visitor Center. This trail takes you to three beautiful beaches after about a 20-25 minute hike, so no jeep needed and no fighting for a parking spot. Our biggest complaint would be the water pressure is low and the hot water runs out quick, but we learned to shower fast. We look forward to returning soon!

Musty smell!

The reason I gave only two stars for check-in, and overall reading was because of the smell of the property. It was a musty smell as if the property was closed off for a long time. When I arrived, it was overwhelming, and I had to leave the windows open for three nights and four days to get it aired out. Was very disappointing. To have to deal with that I tried not to let it ruin my vacation. I still love St John.

Rosemary I am sorry you felt the condo smelled musty but, we went above & beyond to find the issue. My husband & I had just left the island after staying for several months. I advised you we just had our condo floors & furniture professionally steamed cleaned. I personally deep cleaned the condo to include taking fans & lights apart along with cleaning on top of the cabinets etc. We repaired & replaced anything that was not in perfect condition. Just days after we left we had two guests that left us 5 star reviews just prior to your arrival. We take great pride in making sure our condo is in a like new condition for our guests every year. Our property managers are the best on island & were over multiple times trying to understand the issue. They did take the bedroom curtains out to be cleaned & I had just four weeks earlier steamed cleaned them myself. Anyway you told us on day three of your stay everything was fine so, again on behalf of my husband and myself we are sorry you did not find our condo to your satisfaction. Regards, Terry (Owner)

Perfectly Located Property!

My wife and I booked our stay to be close to Cruz Bay in a place with a view and we got just that. Lavender Hill is across from Gallows Point and a 5 minute walk down to all of the action of Cruz Bay. St. John is a very laid back place and we love it. Communication was good with the owner and property management company. Cruz Bay Vista was clean and well appointed. They offer everything you need, towels, chairs, coolers, full kitchen. We read in a previous review about noise from bars and honestly if you are sitting on the balcony you would hear it but that is part of staying in Cruz Bay and it is a town that shuts down fairly early. The noise did not impact our sleep at all, you can not hear anything inside and I am a light sleeper. There is construction going on next door and that did not impact our stay at all. The bonus of staying here is we did not need to rent a jeep. We walked to our meals, grabbed coffee to go at the little store at Gallows Point across the street and when we went to beaches we took a taxi from Cruz Bay. One nice to have item that could be added would be a safe for the condo, other than that we would not change a thing. We will definitely be back and enjoyed out stay at Cruz Bay Vista.

Great location. Great pool. Very glad there was a good generator for the days that Cruz Bay lost power. Some other places did not have a generator.

Fantastic place

Lavender hill had everything we were looking for. Town was such a short trip, we walked to dinner every night. The condo itself was in great shape, with quality furnishings. The bed was super comfortable. If you’re worried about power lines in your view, we hardly noticed them. JP was extremely helpful! He guided us from our car rental to the condo, and offered some stellar advice to fine tune our plans. Couldn’t be happier with our stay!

Best VRBO expression

The condo was beautiful- and the owners and management went above and beyond to make experience great. Left welcome treats and had everything we needed. The ac was so efficient that we didn’t have to run it much and even with turning it off during times we were away the condo stayed cool. Some places in St John get very hot so that was a plus for us. There are a lot more peacocks around than we remembered which we found amusing. Great place to stay. Will try to come again.

Cruz Bay Paradise

Another amazing trip to St. John, made perfect by our accommodations. Lavender Hill was super convenient. Less than a 5 Minute walk to the Beach Bar and most restaurants around Cruz Bay. The pool was great and the grounds were beautiful. Everything you would need was provided, and both patios provided great relaxation spots. It was clean, the A/C worked great and I can't recommend this unit enough! I would rent here again.

Perfect Spot In Perfect Location

Everything was perfect except

Very nice and comfortable property close to bars and restaurants which we loved. Even the pool was enjoyable. The only thing I didn’t like was the power lines. Can’t really see them in the picture but they are there. You look through 8 power lines every time you sit on the balcony looking at the bay.

Wonderful stay

I can't say enough about this place. From the beginning, we were happy with the host, condo, communication with management, etc. The host had a food basket, a sweet note and a gift for us which was a very nice surprise. The unit is very well equipped, everything you could possibly need, clean and a great location plus the grounds are beautiful! No need to rent a vehicle, safari buses are readily available for anywhere on the island, ferry is within walking distance. Close to restaurants, maybe too close to the Beach Bar. :-) I can't figure out why we waited 11 years to return to this beautiful island but we are glad we did because we got to stay at Lavender Hill. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you Terry, James and Eric

Lavender Hill - Cruz Bay

Great location, all within walking distance of Cruz Bay. The condo was clean and updated and has everything you need, including beach chairs and coolers! The rooms was spacious and the views were breathtaking. The property manager was a pleasure to deal with and was very communicative upon our arrival!

Great Getaway Walkable to Dtown Cruz Bay

We had a great time at this location. Great location, amazing view of the bay, high quality interior, nice pool, and a free laundry room in the complex. Pickup from ferry dock with a bunch of luggage was helpful by the mgmt staff. Only downside was dealing with mosquitos that mysteriously kept finding their way indoors, but not a big deal.

Views and Comfortable Island Decor

We so much enjoyed this property. The exterior common areas were well maintained and the comfort of this rental far exceeded our expectations. The interior decor and island art was top notch along with ample amenities. Along with the perfect view and the access to restaurants, within walking distance, this location provided us with a superior week on STJ. We will be back !
