**NO Children under 12 y.o. or pets**Picture yourself on a semi-private deck, sipping a cold drink as the sun dips below the horizon and the water gently ripples below—pure serenity. This one-of-a-kind stilt home is a 1-bedroom, 1.5-bath loft tucked within a quiet, charming community of just 15 duplex units.

Inside, you’ll find a cozy loft with a luxurious king bed, plus a pull-out couch on the main floor for additional sleeping space. Step out onto the back deck for peaceful canal views and easy access to the boat dock. A nearby tributary flows into the Salt River and Crystal River, only 2 miles from both the Gulf of Mexico and the natural springs.

Cool off with a dip in the pool just steps away, or enjoy a leisurely walk along the boardwalk that winds through the property, offering a unique nature experience right outside your door. Prefer the beach? A five-minute drive takes you to the public beach, and a public boat ramp is only a mile away.

The home includes convenient amenities like in-unit laundry and a fully stocked kitchen with cookware and small appliances, making it perfect for short getaways or longer stays. Nightly rentals are available (4-night minimum, or 2-night minimum during off-season), as well as weekly or monthly options.

Bringing a boat? Guests are welcome to use the dock and trailer parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: boats must be 22 feet or shorter (including the engine), and must be secured with a rope for the dock and an anchor for the rear—no power poles permitted. Be sure to contact the host for boat-related arrangements.

For the comfort of all guests, smoking is not permitted inside the unit. Please note this property is not suitable for children under 12 and does not allow pets. Maximum occupancy is limited to 4 guests.

The property was just perfect for the type of stay my husband and I were looking for, clean, quiet, tranquil and with views that were both relaxing and beautiful. The property was well equipped and comfortable, with all you would need. The communication with the host was excellent before and whilst we were staying there. Should I come back to visit the Crystal River area again I would definitely be booking again ! Thank you for hosting us, we had a very lovely time visiting the area which was full of wildlife and stunning scenery, a very beautiful part of Florida!

Very Clean and Beautifully Decorated, pool was nice and clean. Villa is on a canal off Crystal River with plenty of boat docking and a great spot on the deck with large sinks to clean your fish or scallops

Exactly what I hoped for!!

The place was exactly what I wanted in our stay. Clean, laid back environment, not crowded, nice pool, on the water and secluded but not too far from the places we wanted to see. April had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Can’t wait to come back!!

Not as advertised

We do feel the unit was a little misrepresented in the VRBO description (and therefore not the value we paid for). When we booked, this listing showed the following items as amenities that were not there: (listing has been updated to remove these) • icemaker • dishwasher • dining table • cookware/dishware (the only dishes were small plates big enough for a sandwich-not for dinners) and no baking/cookie sheet to cook in the oven • Kayak ( was listed as property amenity- removed from listing). No storage in bedroom for clothing. Had to live out of suitcases except for items that would hang. Unit location was close to the parking lot and the pool. You could see both very clearly. HOWEVER, anyone in the parking lot or pool could see you if you were in the bedroom. The Host/owner listed in pics that the blinds had been removed from the large windows in the unit, but the reality of lack of privacy is not evident by the pics. I even spoke with the lady who watches the grounds and she said she could see into the bedroom from pool. This really was a problem for me as I could never walk to the bedroom to change clothes or dress after a shower without potentially being seen which was uncomfortable. We did ask about covering the windows after the first night and was told it was not possible and YES, we were offered the option to cancel with partial refund. We spent 2 weeks searching for a room before booking and 11 hours driving there. We didn't have it in us to search again.

A few days relaxing in Crystal River...

Highly recommend!!! I spent three nights here visiting with my brother & family (they own a condo here). Beautiful condo, right by the pool and a nice deck where we ate our evening meals. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room. Comfortable bed. Nice pool with plenty of chairs and tables. We brought our kayaks. Rented a boat one day from the marina just down the road. In the evening, drove down to the gulf beach to watch the sunset. April is a lovely host, communicated well regarding check-in, check-out, and details about the condo. I live just over an hour away, but felt like I was a world away. Had a much needed relaxing and restful stay. I plan to stay here again. BTW, plenty of nice restaurants: Seafood Seller & Crab plant have great seafood! Crackers is nice for sitting outside...food ok... Or take a drive to Homassassa and eat at The Freezer - get steamed shrimp and smoked mullet dip...cash only.

Work/play getaway

Was looking for a place to stay, preferably on or close to the water to get some work done and close enough to Crystal River to explore a new area for me. The rental was a very good fit for me and I was able to get a lot done. Nice area. Great hosts. A very nice stay.

Bungalow Life

April was very accommodating while our stay, and everything was great! The bungalow was a perfect location to visit my family who were staying at the RV park five minutes away. It is a well-stocked place to stay and everything was very clean. It is minutes from Crystal River and the ocean park!!

Fantastic stay near the manatees

Husband and I booked a last minute stay. Property was exactly as described and perfect for the two of us. Quick drive to everything and property host provided great info before and during our stay!

Pup Friendly - Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at Sawgrass Landing. Such a neat and convenient location. We were able to bring our pup who was really fascinated with all the nature around us. Loved seeing the osprey building a nest right across the street from the entrance. We were visiting with friends in Crystal River and the location couldn't have been better. The unit was small, but perfect. The kitchen and bath had been updated and were very nice. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!
