Our Baja Getaway (Villa Baja Bohemia) has a longstanding rental history with Homeaway/VRBO. This is the same great property with a new owner listing and a updated property.

Our villa is a beautiful traditional Mexican Casa nestled in a quiet courtyard in the Founders Village of Loreto Bay. The sandy beach and Sea of Cortez are a l00 steps away. As you enter the courtyard garden you'll see the main floor of the home surrounds the lush, tropical garden, waterfall + sitting area. Newly renovated both inside and out with a modern interior, fresh paint and beautiful new tower with ample seating. The villa boasts a spacious outdoor terrace with seating and the newly built tower has both ocean and mountain views.

This Casa Bohemia is light & bright! Hard to find such an exceptional residence that is updated. Quiet pets are welcome w pet fee.

Love Loreto

Very beautiful area. Staying in Nopoló is like living in a little private community. Great restaurants and walking areas.

Perfect in every way! Plenty of room and close to the Sea of Cortez. Also extremely close to many restaurants and nice brand new hotel.. If there is a Top award this Casa should receive it!❤️

Nice property. Great view from the crows nest. Watched a beautiful sunset and sunrise. Love the area. No construction noise during the weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property full of charm. Great location, literally 2 minutes to the beach, nice restaurants around, safe neighborhood. Effective management. We will return!

Great location enjoyed stay

Played a lot of golf so location close to coarse was great. Really liked the interior garden. Barbecue needs upgrading and some cooking equipment also. Very nice washrooms and bedrooms. A suggestion would be to add baskets on bikes and providing kayaks or paddle boards for guest use. Highly recommend this case.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed the Loreto Bay very much. The community is nicely laid out with no car access directly to the property. We loved the narrow pathways which are very well kept with beautiful plantings and fountains. The lap pool was wonderful and I swam laps almost every day. The one thing that we weren't happy with in the unit was the pots and pans. They were teflon coated and the coatings were damaged and pealing off. We love to cook and were uncomfortable using the cookware.

Wonderful stay

Overall, the house was great. There were four of us, and we had two full bedrooms. My main complaint would be that the towels were old and awful. They all need to be thrown away and replaced. The house was also not provisioned as nicely, as I would expect in terms of things in the kitchen. But overall a wonderful experienced and the property management was responsive when we had a problem. We would return.

Relaxing home away from home!

This was our first time in Loreto and really enjoyed staying in Loreto Bay. The location of the condo is great, very close to the water and loved walking over to see the sunrise in the morning. The kitchen is well stocked and were able to cook our own meals frequently. (Were there during the slow season so most restaurants were closed.) We swam at the beach and also the community pools, both were enjoyable. Water is the perfect temperature and barely any waves. Fernando, our home manger, was a great! He was available daily for any concerns or trips we wanted to plan. Definitely recommend renting a car. There is no public transportation and the cabs end up costing a fortune. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful Loreto Bay!

This was our second trip to Loreto Bay, and we love being here. The community is so friendly and there's lots to do if you like nature, serenity, and warm warm weather. My husband got a monthly pass to play golf for the cost of about three rounds, so he played at least 9 holes every day. The house was recently sold, and I understand that it is going to be upgraded. While we found it very comfortable, especially when our grandkids were here, the furnishings are not luxurious. For our purposes, the lived in/beach house feel was perfect. The two new bikes were a great addition, The kitchen could use some new glasses and silverware, etc, but we managed just fine. We would book it again in a heartbeat, but it's already taken for next winter.

Lovely place

We enjoyed our stay, especially the two decks. I liked the location and how close it was to the beach. Timely response to our questions. We weren't too bothered by the construction and remarkably my baby slept through the noise. However, the day we checked out there were workers who arrived at the house to do some gardening prior to us checking out. They made a lot of noise on the roof and my baby couldn't go down for his first nap which would have been nice considering our big travel day. Perhaps they could have waited until 11am (check out time) next time to come do work. I also recommend adding some children's kitchenware (cups/bowls/utensils). Thanks for opening your villa to us.

A lovely, quiet, comfortable, well-appointed safe place. Really wonderful!

The property is large, attractive, nicely decorated, and well equipped. We lacked nothing to enjoy our one week in Napolo. The property is nestled in a cluster of Townhomes with nice interior and rooftop garden areas. Very limited view of the sea but still relaxing and pleasant. There are a couple of Anglo style restaurants right in the development area and it is a short drive, about 12 minutes, to town. The nearby beach is not particularly beautiful one but it is just outside the door for a walk or you swim when you are ready. Mostly, we went elsewhere for our water activities. Our hostess was very friendly and accommodating - she could not have been nicer. Upon awakening this morning, our last day here, I was happy and relaxed and a bit sorry to move on to our next destination, another very nice coastal town. We have greatly enjoyed our stay here and we will very likely return for another!

Great rental but a few items would benefit from refreshment

Great location and communication with host. The property was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay in Nopolo. The rental was within a retirement community which had it’s benefits. Showers could have used shampoo/soap holder and master bathroom lighting and water pressure (on sink on the right) could be improved upon. Furnishings, (i.e. pots and pans and towels/bedding )could be refreshed and took away from “being on vacation” for our family of 4. While I realize this can be typical of rentals, I did expect more, especially since it said it was recently updated. There also should be mention of the ongoing construction of buildings nearby. We did appreciate the 5 gallon water jug as well as the books and games that were shared.

Relaxing and Sailboating in Baja California

Our host was attentive and patient with all our inquiries and needs. Our family had a great time. A very fun vacation spot. The attractive house was very nicely layed out accommodating us comfortably. We enjoyed the view, patios, courtyard, and living room. We walked to many of the community activities. Beautiful property

The place was perfect for us + our 2 toddlers (2&5 yr olds). We have stayed in many Inspirato properties and this casa is pretty comparable to those. Amenities were very well thought out from bicycles, beach bag, sunscreen, bug repellent to snorkeling equipment. Super clean and the manager was more than accommodating. The owner truly cares about ALL the details and makes sure you are well informed. This was our first visit to Loreto and we will be booking this casa again. Thank you!!

Fantastic Villa!

Our family of five had an amazing experience in this well-equipped "chica" home. The furnishings were of high quality, the decor felt fresh and inviting, and there were plenty of linens and towels (including beach towels). We loved having a well-stocked kitchen, the brand new bar-b-que, and the patio furniture both upstairs and downstairs were so nice we spent most of our time outdoors. The host was quick with her responses, and was very helpful in providing tips for our stay. The beach is a short walk away which is delightful to enjoy the amazing sunsets and sunrises. Loreto Bay is a charming community filled with friendly retirees. There is a small market, restaurants, and a cafe within walking distance, and the bikes the owner provides make an excellent way to travel through the community. Especially for the pools within the property. The owner was kind enough to let us use their snorkeling equipment, which came in handy, as you can snorkel right in front of the nearby Loreto Bay Hotel. We had a fantastic adventure and highly recommend the home to other families. Since there are two master bedrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs, it would also make an excellent place to stay for multiple couples. The reason for the four-star review was a result of the ongoing construction of the large buildings adjacent, and maintenance activities of other owners during our stay. We left for most parts of the day to avoid those inconveniences, and loved having a reason to explore the surrounding areas. If you enjoy staying on the beach, or taking beach day trips, we highly recommend bringing your own beach chairs and umbrella. There are no places to rent these within the community or the town of Loreto, and missed have those items during our days exploring Baja.

Casa and Loreto Bay were very nice

For the benefit of the reader my wife and I travel extensively and have stayed at more than a dozen VRBO and other owner rented vacation properties. Accordingly, we have developed certain expectations regarding our future experiences. First, I cannot say enough regarding the responsiveness of our hosts when something unexpected arose. Jennifer was very helpful and responsive when assistance was needed. The bedding, towels and incidentals were great. The kitchen was adequately equiped, albeit with somewhat piecemeal and aging utensils and cookware. Both upper and lower patios were fantastic, with high quality furniture. Perhaps our only constructive criticism is that the finishes (floor tile and woodwork) and the interior furnishings (particularly the bedroom furnishings) are in need of repair or upgrading. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay in Loreto Bay for the month that we were there, due in large part to the graciousness of our hosts.

Very clean..Great location..Excellent cooking Utensils..Fun beach toys.

First .time in Loreto.....wonderful town, people are so happy and Accommodating. Restaurants are within walking distance...Water is clear And warm. Are condo was in the perfect location...the staff was outstanding..great Layout....bedrooms were separate from main living making it easy for Early sleepers. We had four people in our group and never felt crowded. Would recommend,!!
