Downtown apartment - Melu

This spacious apartment is located on the second floor of a building dating from 1833 (no elevator). It features a sleeping area, a kitchenette, and a bathroom, with a total area of 31 square meters. Located in the city center, in the Hotel du Nord building at 22 Cours Paoli, you’ll be right next to restaurants and shops, as well as the main attractions of the city of Corte, the historic capital of independent Corsica in the 18th century.
This is a charming student apartment with beautiful hardwood floors. It is minimally furnished but will serve you well for short-term stays or as a temporary solution.

Nice apartment

We enjoyed the stay, but had the impression that the bathroom and kitchen should get an update. The wooden floor in the main room was a huge plus.

Pro: Right in the middle of old town, easy to find and very close to the main attractions in Corte. There are many restaurants, bars, cafe and shops open even in the low season. Con: It’s an old building with no elevator. And the room’s condition has left something to be desired. There is only 1 small heater in the apartment. I used the fan to help circulate the hot air. It was just enough to make the livingroom/bedroom comfortable in the December weather. However, it’s cold in the bathroom, which made showering uncomfortable with a rudimentary heater. There are lights that don’t work.

Soggiorno piacevole a Corte
