Disappointing Stay – Several Safety and Cleanliness IssuesUnfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, I did not receive any instructions on how to access the property. I had to contact the host, who was friendly and responsive, and explained that the entrance was located on the side of the house.However, there is no proper walkway to the entrance. Access requires walking across grass and then stepping onto cracked and uneven stepping stones, which present a clear tripping hazard. I personally tripped multiple times both entering and exiting the unit.The listing advertised a pool, but the pool appeared to be poorly maintained and unusable. It was not disclosed that the pool was closed for the winter, which should be clearly stated in the listing.Inside the unit, there were several issues:The refrigerator was filthy upon arrivalThere was no ice or ice makerNo soap or paper towels were providedThere was no chair available at the desk, making it impossible to work comfortablyThe stove’s glass/ceramic cooktop had a large hole broken in the center, which is a serious safety concernOnce these issues, especially the safety hazards and cleanliness problems are corrected, this property could be a decent place to stay. As it stands, however, I cannot recommend it in its current condition.
