Cozy Cottage: A Memory Making Place by Cedar Point

Newly renovated home and GREAT for a family vacation to create some wonderful memories. Driveway, 47 feet long, is large enough for boat parking.
The property is located in a family friendly neighborhood with a private beach used only by the neighborhood residents and guests . The park area features a picnic area, full basketball court, playground equipment, fishing, beautiful views of Lake Erie and it`s just one small block away for your enjoyment. Enjoy a relaxing evening around the fire ring!

* Disclosure : The beach has sand on land, but is a rocky entrance into the water, the lake levels have washed the sand away. If children enter the water, we highly recommend water shoes. The public sandy beach is less than 2 miles away if you desire called NickelPlate, ($6 for parking).

The porch out back is equipped with a brand new 2024 four burner gas grill (propane tank provided) and an outdoor patio set with seating for 6.

Inside the home, you will find a cozy kitchen with dishwasher, electric cook top/oven and side by side refrigerator. The kitchen is also equipped with a blender, toaster, 12 cup coffee pot (filters provided), and a Keurig Coffee station with starter pods. Pots, pans, baking sheets, utensils, glasses, coffee mugs and place settings.

1G speed fiber internet throughout the home with UNLIMITED data. LED smart TV in the living room available for your streaming pleasure. Washer & Dryer available with detergent and dryer sheets for your use.

For the gorgeous evenings, there is an outdoor fire pit ready for s`mores. S`mores sticks are also in the kitchen waiting your marshmallows.

We will provide you with a keypad code prior to your stay, so you are welcome to arrive anytime after 4 PM on the day of your check-in.

This is a 2 bedroom home with a loft that contains 2 twin mattresses. We do not take liability for use of the loft and it is at your discretion. Loft is not suitable for small children since it requires use of a ladder for access.

15 minutes from Cedar Point, 5 minutes from Sports Force, 10 minutes to Kalahari and other Indoor Water Parks, minutes to golf courses, marinas and downtown Sandusky.

Our house is pet friendly! Please disclose if you plan on bringing a furry friend! We allow 2 pets maximum, with a non-refundable pet fee.

The Cozy Cottage was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting Cedar Point! My kids each got their own room. My husband got great internet access. I got to have my fur-baby, our family dog, with us on the trip. The cottage was very modern, beautifully organized, and well maintained. Very close to a local beach that we enjoyed when taking an hour or two off from the park in the warm afternoons. The owner went above and beyond with her communication and making sure our stay was enjoyable; bath towels, beach towels, detergent, DW soap, hand soap, first aid kit, dish sponge, and coffee. We hope to visit again in a few years!

Great house and neighborhood

We very much enjoyed our 4-day stay at this very cute and very clean house. The neighborhood and the neighbors were all so friendly. The host was very responsive and so very nice. The house is exactly like the listing. The host also provided a nicely equipped kitchen. Would recommend and we would stay here again.

Cedar point vacation

House was described, clean and very nice. Kids loved the loft bedroom. Plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 furbabies. Owner was very nice and replied back promptly anytime i had a question. Very close to everything. Will definitely be back

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We had plenty enough space to accommodate my husband and I with 3 kids. The house was very clean, bathroom had enough towels for us all as we stayed 3 nights. Only a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point. Next time we go to Cedar point, we will stay here again.

Lovely cozy cottage

Family of 4 adults stay. Cottage fit all our needs and then some. Near Huron Pier, Kelly’s Island Ferry, and Sandusky activities. Quick walk to small but nice Rye Beach. Marcie very responsive and accommodating.
