Modern Luxury Mountain Home within Wintergreen Retreat Collection

With gorgeous mountain views of the Blue Ridge and Blackrock Village this luxury mountain home is one of the largest in the Wintergreen Retreat Luxury Home collection. Featuring 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and 2 half baths. The level drive and one step access into the main level allows for easy access. Once inside you will be impressed with the gracious open floor plan and spacious rooms throughout.

The main level master bedroom suite is great for family members with limited mobility. The home also features a backup generator and advanced water conditioning system for our guests comfort and convenience.

The main level includes the soaring, light filled Great Room with cathedral ceiling & stone fireplace, large eat in kitchen with granite, handsome cabinets, tile floors & beautiful master suite with steam shower. Upstairs includes 2 guest bedrooms with multiple sleeping options, full bath and loft with a desk.

The lower level allows for more activities in an additional family room with fireplace, a master suite with full bath, a separate bedroom with a large sleeping capacity, and a half bath. Beautifully maintained and tastefully furnished so you can just walk in and begin enjoying your new Wintergreen vacation!

The house was very clean and entry was easy once we found the lock box. The open floor plan was especially nice for our family group of 10. All the bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. The kitchen appliances were new and all worked well. The kitchen was very well stocked with small appliances, dishes, flatware, cookware, and spices. We really enjoyed the large deck with a view. We ate every meal alfresco! It was a memorable July 4th weekend for the entire family!

Peaceful and Quiet Mountain Retreat for March Madness

Very spacious and charming hillside home with great views of the slopes and valley below. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Very dog friendly with crate and food/water dishes (although we used our own) as well as enclosed decks. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and washcloths. I have never stayed in a rental as well supplied in the kitchen and bathrooms as this property. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to be able to stay there again the next time I visit Virginia.

Multi-family ski weekend

Spacious home that worked well for our group of 15. Having a separate hangout area for the teenagers was a big bonus. Nice, flat parking with a short drive down to the slopes. Functional kitchen with plenty of plates and silverware for all the guests. Only wished for a few more hooks to hang up everyone’s ski gear.

Harry Potter Weekend with Hurricane Helene!

Awesome place to wait out Hurricane Helene! And oh the views after the fog lifted! This house was the perfect distance for Staunton’s Queen City Mischief and Magic weekend! Plenty of vineyards, breweries, and a few yummy places to eat. I do recommending bringing all your planned meals up with you as shopping is not real close. We will def be coming back!

Beautiful Scenery and Home With Nice Touches

We gathered as old friends and were able to catch up on the expansive deck with a breathtaking view. The living room and kitchen were also the perfect size for our gathering of 8 adults. The kitchen was well outfitted with upgraded extras. We would love to visit again!

It was great again. This is our 3rd or 4th year. A few items needing repair on the deck and the door leading to it.Very comfortable and well equipped kitchen and bathrooms.

Truly an Awesome Home!

We had an amazing time at the “Retreat” house. The balcony has a great view and plenty of seating for a crowd, and the 5 bedrooms gave everyone their own little sanctuary at bed time. We loved having the piano there, and enjoyed jam sessions after dinner each night. During the day we visited wineries and breweries, in the valley and attended Wintergreen Music Festival concerts. The kitchen was well stocked for a large crowd of foodies, too. Great hosts and fabulous home. Hoping to return!

Family trip in the mountains

My family and I stayed at this property and it was perfect for our occasion! The home is beautiful, spacious, and has amazing views in the mountains. Everything was very clean and the home had everything we needed. The host was responsive and accommodating with a late check out that gave us more time for a morning brunch before leaving :) thanks for the great trip!

This property met all of our needs and then some. It was above our expectations! Excellent floor plan; privacy on all floors; cupboards were well stocked & even had charging pads for cell phones. It is beautiful/modern amenities! Thank you for helping us create memories & ringing in 2024!

The house was clean and well-appointed. All 12 of us had comfortable beds, and loved the balconies & decks around the house. Nathan, the host was accommodating and easy to deal with. Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic

Property was exceptional and felt like someone actually lived there vs. a unit which is strictly for a rental investment. The manager Nathan was an excellent host and very timely on responses. He was very helpful related to some access issues for our special needs son (to the pool, house, etc.). Even though it rained every day of our stay, the house was large, well stocked and comfortable. The owners must be great cooks because the kitchen was well equipped with pro-grade knives, pots, pans and appliances. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Perfect for a milestone birthday!

As described, spacious, and generously supplied with everything needed for our large group aged 2 years to 80! Loved the mature hardwood forest ambiance with birds, bears (nearby) and even a bobcat! Thanks and hope we can return someday soon.

Good short stay

Nice property that fit the bill for what we needed. Lots of beds for our annual uncles and cousins guys trip for golf. Great view for sun rises in the morning. Some cracks in walls from settlement showing but other wise well maintained. Had an issue with opening up the two doors onto the main deck. But property manager had someone out in the early AM to fix (they were off their runners). No separate thermostat for downstairs but space heaters were enough and were provided.

The owners chose Wintergreen they grew up with a family home on the mountain. They enjoy the four seasons resort with hiking, fishing, skiing and year around activities. They also enjoy being near the Virginia Horse Center and the variety of horse activities close to Wintergreen. They find the central location ideal for day trips within the region.
