Close to the Ocean & Golden Gate Park, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores and public transportation. This is an excellent location to enjoy all aspects of our beautiful city from Nature to Culture ! You’ll love it here - a well equipped open plan kitchen, comfortable living room & dining room with two spacious bedrooms, each with private bathroom. Home to an artist/interior decorator, you'll find special designer touches throughout. Perfect for families, two couples, & business travelers.
The space
Enjoy this two bedroom / two bathroom loft like flat, filled with light. It has recently been given a complete design make-over by an up and coming young designer and glass design artist / illustrator, The living room, dining room and kitchen are an open plan with privacy offered by individual bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom.

While you are here, the space is yours, this is your home away from home.
Other things to note
There is an apartment below and neighbors to either side. So being respectful of quiet hours - between 11 p.m. - 8 a.m. - are essential. STR-0000076

Perfect Location

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this little artist's retreat in the Outer Richmond. The location was perfect for us. Our kids loved exploring Golden Gate Park, we walked to the beach and explored the Balboa neighborhood. Would love to stay here again on our next visit to SFO.

Outer Richmond flat with happy decor

I stayed here in July 2025 with my two sons and my husband, and we really couldn't have been happier with our accommodations. The flat was convenient to Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach, and within walking distance of several bakeries and cafés. The owner was easy to reach when we had questions. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect home base for a visit to explore San Francisco. Easy.drive into city as well as nearby hiking spots. Host was responsive and greeted us upon arrival! An added touch that made us feel welcome. Flat was clean, well-designed, and kitchen had needed supplies.

Wonderful property!

The property was great--good location (close to Lands End, a small restaurant district and the beach). The property is fun (in a good way!) and well appointed (we had everything we needed). Communication was excellent!Couldn't ask for better!

Just the coolest space! Owner very helpful and responsive, we enjoyed a home base a bit away from the hustle and bustle, and the immediate area had plenty to offer. Very thoughtful and creatively furnished/supplied. In short, a gem.

Loved our stay here!!! Beverly and her daughter were very easy to work with and responded immediately. Large, fully stocked apartment with an artist’s touch. Excellent neighborhood near Golden Gate Park. I’m selfish and don’t want this best kept secret out!!! Ssssshhh!! Haha! Can’t wait to return!

Enjoyable stay

Quiet. Parking is available and easy, just follow rules that are quite clear. Enjoyable art and decorating. Owner very polite and responsive.Needs a coffee pot or at least a French press.

The apartment is beautiful and spacious, the hostess is quick to respond, kind, and accommodating, the neighborhood is terrific -- with cafes, restaurants, park, but still quiet and friendly. Really we couldn't ask for more!

Inviting and bright apartment, perfect for 2 couples. Spacious living/dining/kitchen area. Beautifully decorated with many amenities. San Francisco travel books available. Owner of the property provided us with restaurant ideas within walking distance….helpful when we first arrived with no idea where to get dinner.

Fabulous arty rental in safe neighbourhood

We have stayed in numerous rental properties across the US - this is the best we have found. Clean and spacious. Large fridge freezer and brilliant cooker. Gorgeously curated rooms with book, art and bespoke wallpaper. And a very responsive, kind host. The Outer Richmond neighbourhood is clean and safe. Easy access to local trails and walks. The coastal path to China beach was a favourite. Good variety of bus routes nearby to get downtown, to the bridge and Marin or south to Sunset and beyond. The 5.70 day pass for unlimited travel is a bargain and 18 years and under travel free.

nice house and good location by park

plenty of space, kitchen well furnished, beds a little hard but bedding was good. , it would have been nice to have extra towels and a wash cloth, . had to put suitcases on floor as there was not a place to put them. no working light on stairs or by front door made entering and exiting at night a challenge. No instructions re TV controls so we could not use TV. Overall a very nice experience and excellent communication with host when we had questions or problems. Highly recommend.

Fun Flat

This was a bright and colorful spot with all of the amenities we needed for our family of four. A family member of the owner was in the unit below and checked in with us to see if we needed anything but we were set. It was a fantastic location. We were able to walk to the Legion of Honor Museum, the beach, restaurants, etc. and it was not a far drive to other places we wanted to go. Would recommend.
