Master bedroom has a patio access with unobstructed view of the ocean, pool and lawn. Secondary bedroom has its own access door to the front yard which face white magnolia flowers.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly communicative and made everything so easy from start to finish. The home was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. They went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests and were truly a joy to work with. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in their property. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth, relaxing getaway.

The view and pool are AMAZING! What a special place. We were able to easily walk down to the beach and the house had everything you needed. Communication with the property managers was easy and they were very responsive. We had a wonderful time with our families. Thank you again!

me and my family stayed here for a three day weekend birthday celebration and it was perfect. amazing views with a great pool and yard. its a 5 minute ride down the hill to the beach, or a 15 minute walk to the point dume trails/stairs down to the tide pools. highly recommend for anyone heading to malibu!

Wonderful Malibu Spot

We loved our stay here. The location is everything for walks to Big Dume and Westward. It was also super being with a gorgeous ocean view, swimming in the pool, and off of the PCH. Some weathering to the home/repairs needed but the property managers were very responsive and offered to take care of anything we noticed. Friends and family who came by were all in awe of the setting.

A Special Place!

We were in LA for a week visiting universities for our oldest daughter and decided to stay a little out of the city but still close to everything. This house was perfect! First off, the gated home itself is very safe, clean and comfortable. An original, large 1940’s Malibu bungalow, recently updated by a very famous athlete, it’s the kind of place where you feel instantly at home—no clutter but everything you need. Open layout, heated pool, and spectacular views. I especially loved the picture frame window in the kitchen (our first day, numerous pods of dolphins were playing just outside of our window like water puppies). But the real reason for renting this home is the location! WOW! It sits on two enormous lots overlooking Point Dume—a VERY iconic filming location. In fact, each morning, I would get up to do my run, and film crews were already setting up down on the beach for that day’s shooting. However, not to worry, there are still miles of beautiful beach that were secluded and not overrun with tourists. The neighborhood is VERY quiet (and obviously so with the famous neighbors that live there looking for a retreat) and makes for a special opportunity to step in to a life that we don’t always get much insight to. Lastly, there is Bess! We have rented homes on every one of our vacations, and I can honestly say that she was the most fun, inviting, attentive, and kind owner/manager we have ever encountered! A wonderfully relaxing experience. Big recommend!

Gorgeous property with breathtaking views

I came to celebrate a milestone birthdays with my friends and family, and the setting was glorious. The pool, huge grassy yard, and views of the ocean are breathtaking—it’s so rare to find a property like that in Malibu these days. The neighborhood was lovely, the neighbors were very friendly, and the weather was perfect. We had the best time and would love to return. The property managers were extremely responsive and helpful.

Beautiful View, very relaxing

Love this place- my new favorite getaway and I plan to come back next chance I have! Great place to do nothing and relax. Quiet and safe neighborhood, wonderful views, lovely pool. Loved the sunset (the real sunset, not the restaurant down the hill- that was meh, ok.) Kitchen has what you need and there is a built-in grill in the outdoor kitchen. Comfy beds and sofa. The one large full bath was nice and the half bath downstairs by the pool entrance was convenient. Ruby was very nice and quick to respond by text. Look forward to coming back!

It was perfect for a close to home weekend getaway, but would be amazing for a longer stay as well. Peaceful, low key, and fabulous. Breathtaking view.

Magical location

First let me start with how SPECTACULAR this location is. The property is absolutely stunning. The views cannot be beat and the pool is absolutely amazing. The grassy lawn is as big or bigger than the pictures suggest. Perfect for kiddos to run around. However, a few of the pictures are misleading. The picture with an outdoor daybed and lounge cushions? There was no daybed. More importantly there were no cushions on the lounge chairs, just a very thin cover that I hesitate to even call a pad. It was super uncomfortable to sit on and of course at this property you want to be outside all day. I would suggest maybe removing that picture? As we did expect to find a bunch of cushy outdoor furniture. The managers Ruby and Bess were very kind and VERY responsive and they tried to find cushions for us but as it was end of summer they were unable to. They did find a couple couch cushions from another property that they brought us for our last day to sit on. For the price, having comfortable lounge cushions are a must. They did say that they ordered some, so I believe the next guests should have cushions. The kitchen could have a few more items but it has the basics. The listing says it has air-conditioning but it doesn't, however that wasn't a problem at all because you get such a nice breeze in the house that AC is unnecessary. We were there during the warmest time of the year and were completely fine. Also there is a daily fee to heat the pool and hot tub that isn't mentioned in the listing. It's not much, but it would have been helpful to know about it upfront. Overall it was an AWESOME place to stay. We could stare at that view all day and didn't want to leave. Ruby and Bess were great hosts and super amenable. We will definitely be back.

Hard to beat

Can't go wrong. Amazing views. Quiet and peaceful. Fresh air and nature at your fingertips. All the amenities one could want. Easy access to everything. Incredible amounts of space. Excellent communication from the property manager and owner. Pretty much perfect.

Crazy beautiful!!!!

Not only was the communication and hospitality from Ruby extraordinary - when we arrived at the property it was way way more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We were in constant awe of the property the entire visit. It is unusual to find a house with such a spacious yard in this area and it was perfect for our family to play with. The views were far more beautiful than the pictures! Overall such a great visit - and would recommend this property time and time again!!
