Excellent stay! Will be coming back again soon! The place was exactly what was advertised and the host was super responsive. He helped us with everything! The best part was the home is right on the water and the sound of the waves woke us and put us to sleep! What a wonderful experience! Thank you Hector :)

Reality did not match Listing

Overall impression of this property is: if you are backpacking or travelling on the cheap, this property would be well suited for you IF it was listed at half the price. You get one room (no refrigerator, the kitchen cupboards were empty (no utensils, pots/pans, dishes), no beach chairs, one lanai chair, yes a/c) and one bathroom (no hot water in shower). We got our key on Day 4. It needed a deep clean before we got there. We booked this property at least 6 months in advance, there was enough time to provide everything the listing said it had (which was everything), or revise the listing and let us know. If you are looking for a condo-style/hotel-style property, this is not it. The beach location was beautiful.

We love spending time at our oceanfront home because of the peace, the views, and the connection with nature. When we want a little adventure, we enjoy exploring the beaches and surrounding areas of Buenavista in our 4x4.

We chose Buenavista because of its peaceful oceanfront setting, natural beauty, and relaxed Baja atmosphere. We love the quiet beach, the sunrises, the fishing, the nearby mountains, and the chance to see wildlife such as whales in season and sea turtles along the coast. It feels private, calm, and close to nature, while still being near Los Barriles.

Our place is simple, comfortable, and truly oceanfront. It offers everything essential for a relaxing and authentic Baja stay, just steps from the sea. The view is unbeatable, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the location is perfect for guests who want privacy, nature, beach walks, and easy access to nearby activities like fishing, kiteboarding, and pickleball.
