Located in Seattle’s quietest neighborhood, our brand new two bedroom 1000 sq/ft downstairs unit is only five miles from Pike Place Market, two blocks from Discovery Park (534 acres) and half a mile walk from the Ballard Locks (Seattle’s second biggest tourist attraction). Boasting a full kitchen, eight foot high ceilings, washer/dryer, king bed, fireplace and much more, you will feel right at home.

Also, being situated right next door to Metropolitan Market (a high end grocery store) makes everything convenient. Pop over for coffee and doughnuts, the deli for lunch, or their hot food line for dinner, they have it all, including wine and liquor, simply across the street. The 24 bus line is also only a half block away, so no need for a vehicle!

We want you to enjoy our space as much as we do! Everything in our unit is meticulously cleaned and maintained with lots of amenities. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to experience Seattle.

There are ring doorbell cameras at the front gate and door, another on the cars and side yard. None are indoors or facing anywhere private.
No flushing anything besides toilet paper and human waste. This unit uses a sump pump and anything else will get stuck and will require a plumber.
Using hair dye or glitter is not permitted. Unfortunately, this has caused significant cleaning fees in the past.

I had a great stay! The host was very respectful and responsible, making everything easy and comfortable. The location was wonderful, with a market right on the corner which was super convenient. The place itself was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. I would definitely recommend staying here!

My family enjoyed staying at this property. We were able to walk to Ballard locks, Discovery Park and to the market. It was close to the bus stop which we used to go downtown. Great communication with host. Would recommend and stay here again.

Girls stay before Cruise

Beautiful and quaint stay. My girlfriends and I really enjoyed staying here and exploring before our Cruise. Short walk to bus to take us downtown. Walking over the Locks was pretty cool. Short uber ride to cruise terminal. We ran out of time to go to discovery park . But our stay was great!!!!

Very clean and everything you need. Nice kitchen and bathroom. All rooms have AC and heat. Lower level unit with stairs down to entrance. Living room window views are backyard with no blinds, but bedrooms have blackout curtains to deal with 16 hours of summer daylight.

Thanksgiving get-together

This was the perfect place for our family to get together for Thanksgiving for a few days with our son who is in graduate school in Seattle. The property is a separate suite on the lower level of a house that is completely separate with a separate outside entrance. Located in a quiet residential area with just other houses and an urban food market across the street (which we did not end up going to but would be super-convenient if you just needed a few things for your stay... we needed a bunch to do Thanskgiving so we went to Fred Meyer instead :-)). Kitchen was well equipped, and the whole suite was clean with clear attention given to making it feel welcoming and homey. Communication with the owners was easy (all through messaging in the VRBO app) and check in process was seamless and easy. Owners also provided some simple tips on nearby attractions, good restaurants, etc. We had 4 people age 17 and up and the suite was the perfect size for us; with the convertible sofa in the main living area you could easily sleep up to 6. Wonderful stay!

Hidden gem great for pre-cruise weekend!

Well-appointed unit for our weekend prior to cruising to Alaska! Very short ride to the cruise port and near enough to all the downtown Seattle attractions. Having the coffee supplies on hand let us avoid buying those just for 2 days. Great host!

The secret’s out! We loved our stay at Lawton Park! Nicely appointed apartment with all the comforts of home. Very comfortable beds. Lovely kitchen. Walk across the street to the market. Walk down the hill to the park. Close to Seattle downtown and cruise ship docks. Perfect for us!

As lovely as it looks in the photos.

My husband and I took a short trip to Seattle to enjoy the weather and time to ourselves and it was great in part because of how nice this lodging was. Things that were particularly nice about it: 1. The area was safe and quiet, with the property itself surrounded by tall hedges. 2. It was very clean and well appointed, with an especially excellent kitchen. I have some dietary constraints that make it hard to eat out a lot, so having our own kitchen was a must for travelling, and this one had every utensil, appliance, and dish we needed. 3. It is 1.5 blocks from a *great* little market with plenty of fresh produce and cooked dishes as well. 4. It was close to many of the things we came to Seattle to do. 5. The owner was clear and helpful in their instructions, both before the trip and with instructions left in the home. We didn't have further contact with them while there because everything was pretty perfect and we didn't need anything from them that wasn't already available. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness and privacy. We would certainly rent this place again if we get back to Seattle.

Cozy, Convenient and Quiet

I had a wonderful time with my family at Cody’s place in Seattle. It’s close to so many great attractions and other neighborhoods. We were able to walk to the shipping locks in Ballard, and Discovery Park is also just a few blocks away. Seattle Center, downtown and the waterfront were all less than 15 minutes away, by car. The neighborhood is super quiet and felt very safe. The space, itself, is modern, clean and comes with all the amenities needed for a cozy stay.

I want to live here

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was so very comfy that we had a hard time leaving. Everything you can possibly wish for is there: very well appointed kitchen, wonderful beds and shower and don’t even get me started on the big tv and fireplace. Cody made us feel very welcome with complementary drinks and snacks. The house is ideally situated within a couple of minutes walking distance of a very good supermarket, bus stop into town and the gorgeous big Discovery Parc. Great value for money!

Great place in a great location

Property was clean and comfortable. Host provided coffee & add-ons, seasonings, half a case of bottled water, and other items that travelers typically have to buy. Upscale market is just across the street and beach is just a few miles away. Would definitely stay again.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Cody’s place! The apartment is brand new, clean and spacious. It is a perfect location to walk to the Metropolitan Market just around the corner, and Discovery Park is only a few blocks away. There is plenty of parking on the street right outside. Cody is easy to contact and responds right away. Would stay here again!
