Summary:

Maples and firs, hot tub, and a river-view sauna—your basecamp an hour from Seattle. Trade trail days for covered-firepit nights with river view, then cozy up inside. Fast Wi-Fi, full kitchen, minutes to Lake 22, Heather Lake, and Pilchuck. 15 minutes from downtown Granite. Book fall dates now—best midweek rates.



The Space:

•Bath: full bathroom with soaking tub, shower, and laundry

•Kitchen/Dining: fully stocked kitchen (cookware, basics, coffee setup)

•Outdoors: private yard with hot tub, river-view sauna, covered firepit beneath maples & firs

•Comfort/Tech: fast Wi-Fi for streaming/remote work



Guest Access:

Entire home and private yard—including hot tub, sauna, covered firepit, and river-adjacent outdoor areas. Adjacent cabins have separate, fenced entries; past guests report excellent privacy. Short walk to Verlot Campground, ranger station, and Heather Creek.



The Neighborhood:

Next to the Rusty Bridge on the South Fork Stillaguamish, below Mt. Pilchuck. Trailheads for Lake 22, Heather Lake, Pilchuck, Gothic Basin, Dickerman, Robe Canyon/Lime Kiln are a short drive. Friendly cabin community; waves from neighbors common.



Getting Around:

Car required. Just off Mountain Loop Hwy with year-round access. In snow/ice season bring AWD/traction devices. Check weather for Granite Falls, WA.



Other Things to Note:

•Dog-friendly: 2 house-trained pups (fee $25 + tax/fees charged after booking confirmed).

Please keep pups off furniture; bringing a dog bed helps.

Pet fee added via quick alteration after booking.

•Town access: groceries, gas, outfitters, restaurants, coffee, and bars ~15–20 minutes west in Granite Falls.

•Guide after booking: directions, codes, and check-out steps in the digital guide.

•River safety, quiet hours, hot-tub/sauna rules apply.

Fantastic way to bring in the new year. Gorgeous space, decorated perfectly and loved the extra touches like hot cocoa, cider and coffee. The dog treats were such a bonus for our mini doxie. Sauna and hot tub felt amazing and really liked that the outdoor hose had hot water too so we could rinse off the pup after our walk! Nice and quiet during our stay, great getaway. Will book again!

Amazing cabin!

We had such an amazing stay, the cabin is so cozy and we loved the walk down to the river. There are tons of good trails around to explore and the hot tub was perfect to relax before watching movies. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Weekend Getaway

We loved this little piece of paradise out in the woods! The backyard space was our favorite and when we weren't exploring some of the many trails nearby, we spent most of our time in the hot tub, or at the fire pit. The location is quiet except for the sounds of the nearby river and is a great place to get some fresh air and connect with nature. Will stay here again.

Magical Getaway

Pictures were extremely accurate. All communication was done over the app, made the entire process easy and peaceful. Such a cozy place. We went in early May (which can be spciy with weather), but we got a beautiful week. The time period also allowed for limited bugs, wonderful hiking weather, and zero neighbors. Without a doubt, would stay here again!

River Getaway

It was very close to Heather Lake and other Hike. Back yard created a very nice atmosphere with the fireplace area, hot tub, pathways and string lights. The house looks small but is very spacious.

Perfect getaway to reconnect

My honey and I last minute decided we wanted to get away for the weekend to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other. This cabin was truly a home away from home. It had everything we needed and more. Our pups were even welcomed and had treats waiting for them. We spent the evening talking about life, enjoying the sounds of the PNW rain and the river that is near the cabin. The sound of the rain while in the hot tub was so relaxing and exactly what we needed. We will definitely be back!
