This renovated Tudor cottage puts you steps from the Stilly with a firepit overlooking the water and a grand fireplace inside. Minutes to Lake 22, Heather Lake, and Pilchuck. Fast Wi-Fi, full kitchen. Book winter dates now—best midweek rates.



The Space:

•Living: renovated Tudor charm, grand fireplace, plush seating, smart TV

•Bedrooms: two cozy beds (1 queen 1 full) with premium linens

•Baths: 1.5 baths (full + half)

•Kitchen/Dining: full kitchen (cookware, spices, coffee setup); comfortable dining area

•Outdoors: stone patio with hot tub + fire pit overlooking the river, maple-framed yard, river access

Entire home and private riverfront: stone patio, hot tub, fire pit, yard and river access. Private driveway parking.



The Neighborhood:

On the South Fork of the Stillaguamish near Mt. Pilchuck—trailheads for Lake 22, Heather Lake, Gothic Basin, Dickerman, Robe Canyon/Lime Kiln all close by. Quiet cabin community; friendly waves common.



Getting Around:

Car required. Just off Mountain Loop Hwy with year-round access. In snow/ice season, bring AWD/traction devices. Check weather for Granite Falls, WA.



Other Things to Note:

•Dogs: up to 2 (no cats). $35 per dog per night. Include pups in your booking; keep off furniture and out of loft. Pet fee added via quick alteration after booking.

•Town access: groceries, gas, firewood, outfitters, restaurants, coffee, and bars are ~15 minutes west in Granite Falls.

Absolutely wonderful stay, very calm and relaxing. We found it very easy to make ourselfs at home and enjoy our time. Got lucky and got to see it snow here, it was absolutely beautiful. Management was very easy to communicate with as well. 10/10 will be coming back.

Very cozy and perfect for a 2day stay. Hot tub came in perfectly and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make dinner. We were very pleased and look forward to visiting again next year!

Everything about this place was magical. When i booked i knew this would be perfect for some R&R after the holidays. Beautiful views of nature along with the roaring of the river. This place checks all the boxes for your cabin in the woods experience. It is really up in the mountains and phone signal is very sparce so PREP your information before getting to the house.

The hosts are very welcoming. They went out of the way to make sure we would be comfortable during our stay. The views out the back are amazing, and so peaceful. The property its self is like this story book English cottage. The only thing I would say that wasn’t a positive is that the living room furniture isn’t the most comfortable, wish the love seat and couch had the capability to recline. But overall this place is amazing and would absolutely stay there again.

Great cabin, well maintained! We had a great night of fun, on the river with our own water front, relaxed in the hot tub, watched a movie and enjoy a relaxing sleep to the sound of the running river.

Well appointed cabin on the river.

We always try to stay in a place that makes us forget we are living in someone else’s home. The Stilly River Cabin is that place. Tastefully remodeled while retaining the rustic vibe. Loved relaxing in front of the wood stove after a dip in the hot tub. Hassle free check in/out and great communication with hosts. Highly recommend.

Relaxing getaway

Beautiful cabin and great location. All the amenities that a person would need. The stove was a little hot or cold but we were managed to cook a few breakfast on it. Hot tub was relaxing after a day of hiking or sightseeing. Thanks

The location and the river views are great. We enjoyed spending a lot of our time relaxing on the back patio. Living room furniture was very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with basics and we made breakfast each day. The bed has a mattress topper that is soft and comfortable, although starting to sink a bit in the middle. Bed linens were nice.We understand we are in the woods and there are critters, but the first night, I got my foot stuck on a glue trap that also had a dead mouse on it. The mouse was partially decomposed, therefore, the traps were not getting checked on a regular basis. The other frustration is the bathroom. The “full bathroom with shower” is the water heater closet with unfinished concrete floors. Concrete is very porous and it smells very much like urine even after rewashing all the rugs. There is also zero counter space and the bathroom towels need replacing. Overall, this is a cute place. However, in order for it to be worth the premium price they charge, they need a better bathroom solution and better pest control methods.

Beautiful views of the river along with a quaint cabin. We enjoyed our stay here with our dog. While the evenings were a bit warm, the AC was nice, albeit loud. The Queen sized bed was comfy and so was the couch downstairs. It felt cozy and I can see the appeal of booking in the winter. Please watch your head as you go upstairs! The slanted walls are a unique feature of the cabin and I did bonk my head more than I'd like to admit. Because of the location in the woods, there were mouse traps throughout the cabin. My husband mentioned seeing one caught on a sticky trap. I do have one criticism about the property, as it's not very dog-friendly. Mouse traps were armed in places where a dog could get hurt if they were a bit too interested in investigating it. Additionally, the side gate to the left of the property isn't particularly useful. There's a gap off to the side that my dog easily walked through and surprised us from the other side of the property. Maybe a bird netting would be beneficial. The smoke alarm went off as we were sleeping in the main bedroom, be aware to keep windows open if it becomes an issue. Definitely a rustic cabin with a lot of DIY charm. A little herb garden would make a cute addition to the back patio too. All in all, we liked it enough to stay the weekend here!

We had a vision for the perfect getaway from our busy lives and the Stilly river haus delivered. It’s just as charming in person, smaller than it looks in pics, but absolutely perfect for a couple or small family. Every detail was covered, one of the most thoughtfully stocked places we’ve ever stayed. Coffee, spices, toilet paper, paper towels, olive oil. The river is gorgeous and we slept so well to the sound of it. Beds were soft and comfy, night sheets and linens and plenty of towels. The hot tub was perfect, covered for rainy days and seemed clean and worked well. We loved the fireplace/wood burning stove and they provided all you need to keep it going during your stay. We brought some wood and would recommend you do too in the event the wood pile is damp. (We brought some in to dry out). The kitchen was great, we brought ice, there were two ice trays. We grilled steaks one night on the newer gas grill. This place was so peaceful and perfectly located for exploring the national forest, which we did each day. One thing to note are the slanted eaves upstairs, for tall folks you just need to watch your head. My husband is 6’4 and did just fine. We bought lottery tickets hoping we would win and could buy this place for a ridiculous price, but alas! We’ll have to come back again. Thanks for sharing your great place! ;)

Hello happy travelers!

We are Owen and Kristin, and we love our job of creating magical retreats for our guests to stay and relax in. Owen is a former contractor and I am an Alaska Airlines flight attendant, and both are real estate brokers. We pride ourselves on creating a rewarding experience for all of our guests. We buy (or help our clients buy) unique properties all around the PNW. We then remodel these homes to chic faux-rustic design. All the way through sourcing furniture and stocking shelves the process goes on. We love family, skiing, hiking, traveling, gardening, photography and searching for new properties to renovate.
Our adventure started 4 years ago as house flippers and helping our clients do the same. Things took a turn when we completed our 3 cabin remodels. The plan was to finish and sell them so we could roll into other flips, but the night before listing, while sitting around the campfire, we decided to roll the dice and keep the cabins and turn them into Vacation Rentals. That single decision has completely changed our lives and business plan.
