Great location and accommodations

Our family of four had a great stay in the Crosley Suite! It was an easy walk to King Street and other local spots in the neighborhood. Parking is great on the property and management was very communicative upon arrival and checking in on us during our stay. We enjoyed Charleston and our stay with this host!

We were only staying for one night, so we didn't get to enjoy the space much. It was very clean, nice beds, kitchen, etc. Easily accessible with good parking. Really nicely located for enjoying Charleston!

pretty but not practical

I thought it was clean and pretty but not idea for family’s with small children better for adults. Was in a super safe area and had good communication with management teams for issues. Only complaint is kitchen was missing many items also didn’t have anything to clean counters with since we didn’t have a sponge or cleaning products. Was overall good experience we had a long week coming in and out of the icu this place was so close

Girls trip.

Lovely place, very clean, nice kitchen with everything we needed and fun appliances, cute and modern. For a girls trip, the second bathroom and bedroom were a little challenging just because the space is small with no room for suitcases, bags, etc. showers were very clean with hot water but poor water pressure. Would be great for couple with young children. Hostess was attentive and quickly responded to questions. Easy, free parking.

Great location

Great location and walkable to everything! Property is clean and maintained. Coffee shop and a few great restaurants literally across the street or around the corner. Plenty of space for our family of four (two adults/two teenagers). A/C systems are a little wonky and parking spots are tight. Would recommend to others.

Charleston Rental

We absolutely loved this trendy and unique listing! Only had three minor complaints — the floor could have used a mopping, coffee would have been nice if provided (since filters and the machine were), and finally the door to the place doesn’t entirely seal all the way around, so the humidity seeped in (along with some stray mosquitos). Otherwise, perfect!

Trendy Place in Downtown Charleston

I stayed here with four of my girlfriends for my bachelorette party. It was very comfortable and spacious for us five girls, and we felt very safe walking to and from King Street. We were obsessed with the decor. Parking was available which was really rare for places downtown. The neighborhood was quiet but also offered a couple of close by restaurants if you don't want to go too far from the house. David was a great host and checked in on us occasionally throughout our stay. 10 out of 10 I would recommend and I will definitely stay here again when I return to Charleston.

Wonderful couple of days with great friends

Fabulous stay. Retro decor was pleasant surprise. Unit was very clean and unique. Very comfortable. In great area, very friendly and safe neighborhood. Within walking distance of many great restaurants and bars that we would not have discovered if not staying here. Especially enjoyed Fuel for drinks or casual dining. Had really nice dinner at Bistronomy by Nico, casual French cuisine. A number of other small restaurants in area that would love to come back and try. Looking forward to returning soon and will definitely stay here again. Really appreciate David’s help and checking on us throughout our stay. Another must to try is Henry’s across the street from the market.

Served a purpose

Starting with the good: Located close to MUSC which was important for us. The not so good: Noisy apartment A lot of plane traffic overhead No insulation so could hear all of the neighbors coming and going along with children screaming and the dog next door barking. Furniture looks nice but is very uncomfortable, not much space to sit and relax. No TV's in the bedrooms so you have to sit in the living area to try to relax. As stated above is served a purpose since i had to be at MUSC daily, would not recommend for someone coming to Charleston for sight seeing.

Fantastic!!

The location is convenient to everything - and you can stay right in the neighborhood and be entertained as well! Everything went so smoothly. The space is perfect and it's so nice to have an outside space and on site parking. If there was any recommendation for improvement, (and this wasn't really a big issue), is that it would be nice to have just a little more space to put your belongings. We were there for six days and had come from an out of town wedding, so we had a fair amount of baggage. In the smaller room, the wall pegs are not secure and there was nowhere to hang clothes. A small wardrobe in the corner and some shelving in both bathrooms would help. But we would definitely come back and highly recommend this as a place to stay. Thank you for creating such a wonderful space!

This Suite has everything you need!

Our family of 4 stayed in the Crosley Suite for 4 nights. The space was decorated really great and just as pictured. However, it was a little smaller than we had thought. It was really nice having 2 bathrooms so we didn't all have to share 1. Our daughters, 12 and 17, stayed in the bedroom with the bunkbeds. I will say the top bunk is not the easiest to get in and out of and they both chose to sleep together on the bottom. The beds were super comfy and it was a great space to come back to after exploring all day. There is a great coffee shop right across the street and lots of other restaurant choices in the area. The historic district of Charleston is about a 30 minute walk from the rental. We walked pretty much everywhere because Uber rides were costing around $30 for a 2 mile trip. Not sure if this is the norm. If we are in the area again we would definitely stay here.

Stylishly decorated compact 2 bedroom.

The unit is very nicely decorated, very well equipped and very clean. Management was extremely responsive, not that we experienced any issue at all, but when I did email them a quick question I got an immediate response. Our stay was just my wife and I and it was perfect for us with two full bathrooms though I would mention for more than two people it is a bit limited on closet space and storage. For us the second bedroom was storage and of course having access to a second full bathroom, which allowed us to both get ready at the same time as space is somewhat limited. The location is good though you would have to drive or Uber to many of the restaurants and historic destinations in the French quarter, etc. Everything was a 10 minute drive or less so for us not a real inconvenience but it's worth mentioning. We would definitely rent this unit again and enjoyed our stay.

Interesting Experience

We ran into some issues and this is not solely negative. The home/apartment was nice, on the clean side, but not totally. Cosy furniture and bedding was comfortable. There was not as many pots and pans that I would of liked but we got the job done with what we had. Bathrooms were clean, though the bigger bathroom had an awkward sink. From the bottom of the faucet to the top of the sink there was about 3 inches of room to get your hands under. Parking and the driveway were great. Issue One: The first 24-36 hours of our 5 night stay there was construction going on above us in the unit at all sorts of hours (including moving furniture at midnight). We had 3 children with us which made it interesting while sleeping. Issue two: The AC units. They sent 2 technicians out who claimed to have helped the issue, but we did not feel they were working properly. We visited this home in mid July which was very hot to begin with. The units did not keep up with cooling the place down. The only time it felt cool was between 2:00-8:00am. At that point the sun was well down and starting to rise. We reached out to the management company, who were very responsive and extremely helpful. They tried many times to help us with our situations and send the technicians over. They put a stop to the construction which they claimed they had no idea about (I do believe them). The management company gets a 10/10. We complained to make this fair for us and was given a unpleasant small reimbursement.
