This mountain cabin has it all! Something for everyone all year round!
From stunning views to convenient privacy - picture yourself escaping to your Northern Michigan paradise in Mountain Cabin 830!
Featuring four bedrooms and three baths, this home comfortably accommodates up to 13 guests. Upon entering the home, you are greeted with an open concept layout with the kitchen, living room, and dining area, giving you a large gathering space for your group. Warm up to a new gas fireplace in the main living room. You will also find one bedroom on the main floor. The guest bedroom on the main floor features a queen bed. Convenient for everyone is a full bathroom on the main floor as well. Also, there is a pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room.
Upstairs you will find the master bedroom with a full en suite bathroom. This loft area allows for privacy away while still being part of the whole group.
The lower level features a home within a home for added space and convenience. Downstairs you will find an additional living room area, which includes a sleeper sofa, plus two bedrooms and a third full bathroom. The bedrooms feature a queen bed in one and a twin-over-queen bunk bed set in the other. This allows the downstairs to serve as its own full home within the larger home, servicing multiple families in one home quite easily.
Outside you will find your own private hot tub and private deck to enjoy. Whether warming up and relaxing after a hard day of having fun on the slopes or taking in the Northern Michigan summer evenings and sounds, the whole family will feel recharged and in their own private getaway. The deck has a gas grill for your convenience, plus a dining area to relax the entire night away! No matter the season, this home is sure to delight!

***During the Winter Months, 4-Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive is highly recommend to access this property***
*** Please note that this property utilizes a chairlift with a lift schedule that is subject to change. We encourage you to access the Boyne Mountain website for the lift schedule, as units are not always ski-in/ski-out.
The Area:
Boyne Mountain is a golfer's and skier's paradise, offering the top-rated skiing, snowboarding, and golf courses in the Midwest. Boyne also has one of the largest water parks in the Midwest, tennis courts, Deer Lake/Beach, and several dining options. Golf, skiing, and snowboarding lessons are available at the resort. We highly recommend purchasing lift tickets, ski rentals, and booking tee times for golf in advance. For details regarding resort amenities, please contact the resort directly for pricing on their day passes and lift tickets.
Deer Lake is a public lake for you to enjoy, and 7 miles away is Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City.
Looking for a day trip? Visit Mackinac Island or Sleeping Bear Dunes. These are just a few options during your visit in Northern Michigan!

Family ski weekend

Nice rental cabin with room enough for 8 and stocked with everything you could need. Hot tub at night was an added bonus after a day of skiing.

Great family stay

The cabin was perfect for our family for a week long trip. the kids loved the hot tub and relaxing setting. We really enjoyed the area and going to the towns like Boyne City, Petoskey and Charlevoix. Communication with property management was quick and answered questions right away.

Will return. This place was awesome.

House was incredibly clean, normally I clean upon arrival, but didn’t need to for this house! Great location at Boyne with access to biking, hiking, disk golf. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.

Boyne Weekend Fun!

Great house, clean and nice location. Property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to texts. No complaints just a couple suggestions. A larger garbage can for the kitchen would be helpful with a full house. Hot water supply was challenging, it was warm most of the time and never really got hot. Hot tub on the other hand was wonderful and always hot! Something to indicate where the ski out is located. It took asking some of the neighbors where the location for the ski in/out location was. As it turned out, it was towards the end of the driveway and across the street, so great house location for ski out once we figured it out. Our group had a great time and would book this house again!

It also means a lot to know communication was easy and that texts were answered quickly. We really appreciate the helpful suggestions. A larger kitchen garbage can is a great point for a full house, and we’ll look at upgrading that to make meal prep and clean-up easier. Thank you as well for flagging the hot water issue. It should get properly hot and stay consistent, so we’re having the hot water system checked to improve temperature and performance. We’re glad the hot tub was a highlight and stayed wonderful and hot throughout your stay. And thank you for the note about the ski-out location being hard to find. We’ll update the pre-arrival instructions and add clearer directions (and signage where possible) so guests can locate the ski-in/ski-out route quickly without needing to ask neighbors. Thanks again for staying with us and for the strong recommendation. We’re happy your group had a great time, and we’d love to welcome you back for another ski trip.

The property is in a beautiful location nestled back in the woods. The home was spotless and the property Manager was very helpful. The only thing I would suggest is to make the cabin #s more visable trying to find it in the dark was a bit interesting.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time and felt things we very clean. Beds particularly the pull outs were not so comfortable and I would suggest different pillows. Some more soft and not so high to allow flexibility for different sleepers. We lwdt a list of things where light bulbs were burnt out

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Looking forward to booking a stay in the future! This was actually the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in! Kudos to your cleaning team. Only thing that needs attention is the TV situation. Lots of TVs just difficult to navigate how to use. But we enjoyed our time in the hot tub and quality time together as a family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I spent the good part of a week at cabin 830. If you enjoy a little solitude, but still desire ski-in/ski-out convenience, this place should be on your “short list.” During our stay, mother natured blessed us with an abundance of powdery snow. With all that fresh snow on the ground, driving up the mountain road leading to the cabin induced a true “ski trip” ambience. The cabin was clean, nicely decorated and quite spacious. The natural fireplace was a nice surprise, with extra wood easily accessible. When it was time to ski, we didn’t have to go far. An un-groomed trail leading to the Alpine lift is located directly in front of the cabin. Because of the unique location of this cabin, you can have a ski-in/ski-out experience, being spared the crowds of people skiing passed your patio door. My family and I truly enjoyed the trip, and will hopefully be staying again next year!

Great place!

The cabin and hot tub were very clean. The kitchen was more than fully stocked with everything we needed to cook for our large group. Ski-in/Ski-out was just a few feet from the front door. Overall great mini-vacation!!
