Two King bedrooms with cribs on the upper level with access by open log stairs, all with lake views. There are also two King bedrooms in the lower level walk out with lake views.

The main level has a massive open living area with family room, kitchen, dining room with a dry bar and a huge screened in porch at lakeside with additional dining.
The lower level has another king bedroom with private bath, a TV room and rec room with pool table, gas fireplace. The log bar has a sink, water, beverage refrigerator all leading out to the massive yard that gently slopes down to the water. There are 2 gas fireplaces, one on the main level family room shared with the master BR and one in the lower level game room shared with the rec room. WiFi, satellite Direct TV, gas and charcoal grill, and fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates, and silverware is provided. Parking is permitted in the garage during your stay as well.


This picturesque spring feed 3,500 acre lake is located in the southeastern corner of Washburn County Wisconsin. Created by glaciers millions of years ago, it stretches almost 19 miles creating 99 miles of scenic shoreline, and reaches depths of over 70 feet. Officially designated as the Walleye Capitol of Wisconsin Long Lake's cool deep bays, gravel bars and rocky shorelines provide excellent walleye structure. It is also widely recognized as a productive year round fishery for many other species including large and small mouth bass, northern, bluegills and crappies.

Long Lake is a lake for ALL seasons. Featuring year round fishing and public hunting. Summer brings boating, skiing and other water sports as well as ATV/Equestrian trails and lots of beautiful scenic bicycle and motorcycle roads to travel. Winter offers miles of groomed snowmobile trails, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing.


It is a full recreational lake that offers convenient access to many lake restaurants with boat access. You will not find any lake in the Hayward area that has so many restaurants/taverns on the lake that provide boat access. This cabin is located in Gruenhagen Bay which is great as the water is protected so you can kayak and boat in calmer waters. Long Lake is also special for its Boy Scouts influence, hence the name of our cabin. Tomahawk Scout Reservation was established in 1953, and since then has grown to include three separate Boy Scout camps, Sioux, Chippewa, and White Pine, and a second year Webelos camp, Navajo. It has 3,300 acres of woods with campsites across 15 miles of Long Lake shoreline. The beauty of this is that the shoreline is untouched except for an occasional view of a campsite or the Boy Scout water facility that is cool to view as you pass by on boat. Our cabin is on Gruenhagen Bay and beyond the water is Tomahawk land so your views are lake and forest. In the distance.

NOTE- This home is for family vacations and small friend group get to-gathers and is in an exclusive neighborhood. It is not to be used as a party home. You must be 25 or older to rent this home.
