Thanks for the positive response Marjorie. We will definitely agree with you that the trek to and from the dock can be a workout, depending on your fitness level, but it is worth it to enjoy the lake and the see the views! Looking forward to you returning next year!

This review isn't consistent with other reviews we've had. There is a hill from the house to the lake, but that is common on this lake and one of the reasons that it is a deep water lake. There are steps going into the water that makes access into the lake very easy. The railing is steady enough to allow safe entry into the lake, but I will check to see if it wobbles. This is the first that I've heard about screws coming out of the decking. I will look into that issue. There is room for at least six cars close to the house plus a two car garage. There's also ample parking for additional cars and any trailers at the top of the hill. I suspect that this person wrote a negative review because he was called out for not being honest about the number of guests that he had at the house, which may be why he needed more parking for more than eight cars close to the house. Normally, our guests are honest about the size of the group that will be staying in the house. On the plus side, this guest did leave the property fairly clean.
