Kona Paradise is located towards the south part of the island, 45 mins from Kona, offering stunning views to the ocean, and a quiet neighborhood.
The house is surrounded by gardens, and in a cul de sac, so tranquility and peace is a guarantee.
Has its own beach where you can go snorkeling, kayaking, swimming.
Cozy and luxurious, ideal for honey moon, with beaches like Ho'okena, Manini and 2 Steps close by. They are great beaches to swim or snorkel.
It is a middle point if you want to explore the Volcano National Park.
And an add on house for yoga, meditation or simply retreating.
One of the best climates in the island, as sunny, but not overwhelming; stable with partial rain and no wind. You do not need A/C !
It is the first floor of a two story house, with its private entrance, kitchen, bathroom and garden.
Has its own private deck on the first floor plus access to the top deck of the house.
The top deck of the house is shared space.

Turn right on south road, mile 96,5. Subdivision Kona Paradise. Then you will see roads marked A-B-C-D. Turn right on Datura Rd and the house is on the very end of a cul de sac.
Address: 87-3220 Datura Rd.
Do your shopping before arriving as restaurants and shopping centers are 25 mins from the house.

I really enjoyed my stay! The property is in a private neighborhood with access to its own beach at the end of the road. It’s in a good location to experience the entire island by car. And, it comes with a kitchen, so that you can prepare your own food.

For browsing around the island this is a secluded and beautiful spot with a great ocean view for sunsets.

Lovely hideaway

Out of the way, near the beach, tucked in a quiet neighborhood. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is your place. The owner is an artist and gardener with connections to the local healing arts community. We had a lovely stay and our host was thoughtful and kind.

A Sanctuary with a view

We had a great time there, great location to access beautiful beaches, close to Kona. Our host was lovely and she gave us many great recommendations. The view is stunning! Thanks! Hopefully we will be back someday!

Sanctuary paradise

It was a sanctuary with a wonderful ocean view. It was Very quiet, peaceful and everything we hoped it would be. The host was very helpful and tuned in to anything we might need. The sunset from the deck was gorgeous. Loved our private patio for dining. Would definitely rent this again.

Beautiful views

A beautiful location on a very steep hill leading down to the ocean. The apartment was not luxurious but clean and simply furnished with everything we needed, including chairs and snorkels for the beach. The housekeeper was very friendly and helpful.

Two octogenarians

We found Kabira and her thoughtfully furnished,clean, efficient apartment very welcoming. Truly a rural retreat and very quiet and relaxing. High up over the ocean!My need of a cane made things a bit challenging getting up a steep driveway and then steps but it was well worth the effort

Thanks for your lovely comment. For potencial guests it is a good idea that you explain to them that you had an ankle problem and that you and your partner were 88-90 years old? The stairs are pretty easy to everybody though. Hope the rest of your trip is lovely!

Beautiful place with a breathtaking ocean view

I stayed at this place for a month. It is a beautiful house at the end of a quiet street in Kona Paradise, right next to the jungle. The property is clean, tastefully furnished and it feels really good to be there. It has a garden filled with colorful flowers and a detached meditation room surrounded by trees. The owner is kind and friendly and she really cares about her guests.

Lovely property, great views

Very nice apartment with nice sunset views. Clean, well maintained, reasonably well equipped and provisioned. Lots of handwritten signs laying down lots of rules. Hostess very nice. Need clearer instructions on where yonpark the car.

Winter Escape

Lovely apartment in a quiet neighborhood, close to the beach. Everything about the apartment is chosen with care. The bed is very comfortable. Less than 30 minutes to grocery stores, shops and a great laundromat. Our host was very helpful, and gave us many great tips about places to go, where to shop, etc. Highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet, comfortable getaway.

Good location for exploring South Kona.

Very quiet location with ocean view. Comfortable bed in the main living space. Large bathroom. Kitchenette has mini fridge and 2 burner hot plate we utilized the ice chest provided and bought cheap ice at the nearest gas station to the north. Good base for exploring South Kona. Nearby snorkeling at Ho’okena, 2 step, etc. Snorkeling at Pebble Beach in Kona Paradise is excellent.

Sue: if you were able to read the guidelines which I ask every guest to read, I am not able to offer laundry services to guests. In the 4 years that I have a guest house nobody has ever entered into the laundry room without asking me before hand.

Quiet Slice of Paradise

We loved the beauty, peace, and quiet of this property. The carefully kept gardens and tranquil spots were so calming. Close to beaches and attractions, but away from the crowds. Kabira provided thoughtful touches such as beach gear and chairs to make our stay even more enjoyable. Very comfortable and clean. Kitchen was just right. We’d gladly return. Note: you need a car to get around.

Beautiful sanctuary

Peaceful and beautiful environment. Great view of the ocean, amazing flowers and greenery all around. Almost never heard traffic sounds or neighbors. Accommodations are spacious and efficient. Very comfortable bed and pillows, luxurious shower, well equipped kitchen. Kabira was available, friendly, and helpful with suggestions. Staying here was a perfect part of our Hawaiian experience.
