Front porch rocking, back porch dining, this property was perfect for a fall weekend getaway. Close enough to campus for us to zip over to the Fowler Center to watch a volleyball game, stop by the bookstore for Sewanee swag, and enjoy all that the Domain has to offer. The property was comfortable for my husband and me, and had adequate room for our two adult sons. Stocked with everything you need for a morning cup of coffee or tea and birdwatching off the back porch. Will book again when visiting our daughter for the weekend.

A group of us stayed at this well appointed location during my high school reunion on the mountain. It was a great base camp for exploring, resting, and visiting. I loved having coffee on the front porch, and gathering with friends on the back porch. A terrific thunderstorm blew up, and we stayed dry and happy. Perfect!

Mountain retreat

This was a great home for our stay on the mountain! It was clean, well-furnished and close to campus. We were able to walk to Shenanigan's as well as through the University. The owner was great about communication before and during our stay, making it an easy, comfortable trip. Highly recommend!

Charming Sewanee

Wonderful weekend visit to a very well maintained three bedroom house very near the back end of Sewanee’s campus, walking distance to places like Shenanigans, but so quiet I could hear my watch ticking at night. Perfect house for a parent visit.

It was perfect for what we were looking for - close to everything, clean house, great surroundings.

Would rent again. Instructions for TV and exit housekeeping (sheets left on or off, towels gathered where, run dishwasher? These are minor things, but would help us take better care of your home. 😊

Sweet Escape!!

A perfect spot!!! The house is so sweetly decorated and was well equipped with everything we needed. The back porch is my favorite part of this property.....sooo relaxing tucked into the trees! We cooked....played games...ate at Shananagins just down the street....walked around campus .... we'll be back! Thank you!

The house was great. The location on the map was misleading. You don't see the address until after you book. I guess this is for safety/security reasons, but the "pin" on the location map happens to show the house right in the middle of town, and after you book the house the marker on the map is where the house is actually located. It is still a great location, but I almost went to the wrong house based on where it showed the location pre-booking!
