Physical Property OK - location was extremely noisy most of the night
We arrived to find 2 rotten bananas on the kitchen counter which made me concerned for overall cleaning. The rest of the VRBO did seem to be clean. There were several shortages/things missing - no hand towels for the bathroom, no kitchen towels, only a place setting for 4 (so you basically had to wash dishes everytime you used something), and 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for 3 nights for 4 people. The description and the pin drop shows the property farther off Brady street - it is in fact a half a block off Brady and the Nomad pub has loud music playing on an outside speaker until 2 in the morning which you can hear plainly while laying in bed. Also there is alot of foot traffic during bar hours and loud people hung outside our VRBO until 3 am all 3 nights. The driveway is at a 45 degree angle - we were able to get our van in it but it would be impossible in the winter and the parking in front of the vrbo is 2 hours only from 7 am to 7 pm. From talking to the neighbors getting your car stolen/broken into is a real concern - we got lucky and nothing happened. On the upside it is a convenient location to walk to places. If you plan on being out all night and don't have desirable car to steal and are fine with a slightly sketchy neighborhood then this is a fine VRBO. I personally wouldn't rent it again mostly due to the neighborhood. We have rented VRBOS for over a decade and this is the only negative review I have given.
