This is a Disciples Village Dual Optional Home. Disciples Village 679 is the lower level and offers a full private home with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. When rented together with 678, this condo allows the full home to become a 4 bedroom 4 bath home.
When entering Disciples Village 679, you will find you have a large living room to enjoy at the end of a fun filled day.
The bedroom offers a king bed and one sleeper sofa in the living room and a futon that folds down that allows for up to 6 guests. The full bathroom also offers dual sinks for added convenience.
The Area:
Boyne Mountain is a golfer and skier's paradise offering the top-rated skiing and snowboarding and golf courses in the Midwest. Boyne also has one of the largest water parks in the Midwest, tennis courts, Deer Lake/Beach, and several dining options. Golf, skiing and snowboarding lessons are available at the resort. We highly recommend purchasing lift tickets, ski rentals and booking tee times for golf in advance. For details regarding resort amenities, please contact the resort directly for pricing on their day passes and lift tickets.
Deer Lake is a public lake for you to enjoy, and 7 miles away is Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City.

Comfortable for 2 people

Location good for skiing, but overall the condo is adequate for 2 people with 1 bedroom. The sleeper sofa has a very thin mattress and can saggy springs so ended up just sleeping on the sofa as is. The futon is a firm futon mattress. Kitchen well stocked. Toilet seat doesn’t stay up is only other complaint, have to hold it up to use it

3 Day Boyne Ski Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect place for our short ski trip. Easy walk to the ski slopes. Needs better markings though to find the place as it’s on the lower level with no clear signage for it. Parking can be crowded too. Great for small groups that are just looking for a good place to relax and sleep.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In my opinion, this is not a rental that sleeps 6 people. It’s maybe for a couple and 2 kids. Also, if the upstairs is rented, don’t stay in this place. The second night we were there it sounded like there was constant ball bouncing. The third night an all out party until 1:30am, no one slept. Also, this is NOT a ski in/ski out! Overall, not a great place to stay but we were last minute in the booking so there was a reason it was available. This should only be booked if you need it to house additional family from the upstairs unit.

Great Weekend

The condo was wonderful! The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed during our stay. My only suggestion would be to have at least a one-day supply of coffee for the coffee pot and a few coffee filters.

The home was very clean and well set out, easy access with keyoad entry, the bathroom is spacious, we didn’t use the kitchen, but it was well equipped, I still has a nosy around, the bedroom had plenty of storage and the bed was very comfortable. There was a file left for guests on things to do, places to visit and where to eat. Overall had a great stay.

Reviewer Comments: The condo itself was nice - nice updates, lots of blankets and pillows. But the building itself is not well insulated between floors and we could hear everything going on above us. A fan to at least make some ambient noise to drown out the banging footsteps and people partying above would be nice. There is NO thermostat for the a/c for the lower unit, either. We opened a window for cool air, but people were partying and screaming outside. When we returned the second day, we could not park in a space designated for our unit bc the spaces are not marked and the other cars were poorly parked.

The condo itself was nice - very clean with nice updates. Matress could use a pad, but that is just a personal preference. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. The soundproofing is very poor. We could hear everything the people above us were doing, including the party they had where people were pounding on the floor and when they would drag furniture around, and it sounded like they were wearing cement shoes. This unit does NOT have it's own thermostat to control a/c. We opened a window at night, but there were people partying very loudly outside, forcing us to shut the window. Parking spaces are not marked. The other tenants parked far apart and some crooked, so we were not able to park by our unit the second day. The property itself was nice and I would like to recommend it to others, but it seems there wasn't a lot of planning on the part of the rental company to combat rude renters. If we go back, we will definitely make sure we have an upper unit. It would also be nice if there were some floor fans, if only for ambient noise and to help drown out the noise from others.

Very relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Check-in was a breeze. We drove to Petosky for a day and went to Mackinac Island for a day. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom is huge, perfect for two teenage girls. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the resort, with lots of activities. Members of our group tried the biking and disc golf in this beautiful setting. Restaurant at the lake had awesome sunset views. The unit was a little dark but it was a basement unit so not really a surprise. Highly recommended this apartment.

Staying in a well-furnished basement.

We are retirees and a first floor condo is what we wanted. We got a first floor condo, however, it was down a lot of steps that was difficult to use while carrying luggage. It felt like we were in a walk-out basement; no view and no place to sit outdoors. It was updated and very clean; only had to kill 5 spiders. However, the listing stated there was a fireplace. No fireplace. Instead, it had baseboard heating which we had to stand our head to see the controls. No filters for making coffee and no hair dryer (every motel has that). The shower was dangerously slippery. An accident waiting to happen. The location is somewhat confusing and a map of the area (at least the rental community) would have been appreciated.

Great ski in/ski out location!

Small cozy ski spot. We loved how easy it was to ski to the Disciples lift. Great kitchen and comfy bed. The listing is a little confusing and there is no fireplace in the unit - but we lit a candle instead.

Great Location

You can ski right out the back door into Disciples Ridge down to the lift. Condo is clean and fit our family of 5 just fine.

Boyne ski in/out

Great location for a weekend snowboarding with the boys. Pretty clean, small stain on the lamp in living room, lighting was a bit off with some bulbs soft lit and others clear. Very easy to take breaks whenever. The next time we visit, we will stay in a similar property! Thank you!
