Friday Haus is a pioneer style log cabin that was built in 1850. Located just a half block off West Main Street this gem boasts historic construction and has plenty of Fredericksburg charm! Two cozy bedrooms, both with Queen beds offer plenty of space for four guests. A full kitchen complete with full size refrigerator, stove, coffee pot and microwave provide just the space needed to stay in and enjoy your meals. After a long day of exploring our charming town, come back and take a soak in the relaxing clawfoot tub (w/ hand held shower), or enjoy the hot tub out back! Historic, Charming and just blocks from so many great things to do, Don't miss out Book Friday Haus now!

***** Rates for this property are based on double occupancy, additional persons beyond 2 will be charged $35 per person per night
- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

Nice Stay with Some Caveats

We enjoyed our stay at the Friday Haus! I just have a few comments about how things could be better. One of the major ones is the driveway. It's strangely incredibly steep and very difficult to see at night. It makes getting in and out of the space quite difficult and created difficulties for us that seemed unnecessary. I would decrease the intensity of the incline, or move stones. One of the bedrooms had windows that at least 4 of the panes were very broken. It was a double paned window, but still a bit concerning. The front door key doesn't open the side door, which is a much better entry than the front, so that was unfortunate. The hot tub is nice, but wouldn't get above 100 degrees for some reason. There is no shower, so you have to sit in the bathtub, so we opted to not bathe there. Also the stove/oven isn't listed in the VRBO description and there is one, so that was a bummer. We brought food that had to be microwaved because of that. Otherwise, a very nice stay!

The property is amazing. You can see the original construction. Each room is beautiful, and the decor has been chosen thoughtfully to be comfortable while keeping with the aesthetic of the 19th century home. The location is perfect for exploring Main Street, but it’s also far enough from any noise that it was a peaceful setting. 100% recommend this property if you want a comfortable and authentic Fredericksburg experience!

The cabin was the perfect escape from our busy day to day life. So much history and the decor was warm and inviting. The neighborhood had similar old cabin homes, overall a welcoming home that makes you feel right at home!

Devine space, great location

Excellent space very comfortable & nice information about its history. No recs for improvement. Now, if only you can find the mouth guard in a box that my friends left at Friday Haus, it will have been a perfect visit.

The cabin is beautiful and cozy, perfectly located right off main street! The beds were comfy and the amenities were a great touch. Full kitchen with dishes and tool as well as a TV in the living room. And the hot tub was very clean as well!

Fun Girls Trip

Thoughtful decor, comfortable beds, and great communication from host! Would highly recommend staying at Friday Haus. A few suggestions: a video with directions to open the lockbox. The chipped tub needs some attention and a shower would be a nice touch. Most concerning are the damaged windows with gaps and plexiglass that lets air in and out. You have a wonderful place with proximity to Main Street, but as a former VRBO owner, I know ideas for improvement are always welcome!

Perfect Historic Cottage with Charm

This cabin is perfect for a stay in Fredericksburg. I love the original details, but it also has been updated with everything needed to make for a very comfortable stay as well. It is so easy to walk from the cabin to all of the shops and restaurants of the main street, but it's also on a very peaceful street. Lots of parking room. Very responsive management company and super easy check-in/out. Highly recommend! (May not be best for those with physical impairments/mobility issues, as the bathroom only has a deep soaking tub which could make getting in and out/up and down difficult, and the regular shower is outdoors down steps. That said, we loved it all and had no issues.

Quanit convenient

Historical, great furnishings. Nice hot tub. Ampke patking. Used outdoor shower instead of indoor tub. That's a new experience.plenty of towels. Smells good!

Loved, loved this sweet historic home!

Friday Haus had all we needed, it was great! It was spotless, the kitchen stocked (w/coffee and creamer), lots of assorted towels in bathroom, beds really comfy, blankets for watching tv during rain storm, etc. You can tell someone thoughfully put it together, greatly appreciated. (The tub only is the only 'eh' (there is a handhold shower head), but not a deal breaker with how cute the home is, with great location!
