The process for entering the unit was easy, and everything was ready for us. The unit is very charming and has rustic uneven floors throughout. It has its own entry in the back which is very convenient. Ideally located to discover many historic sites in Guilford! I loved staying and I will probably be back!

Paradise!

Fantastic to host our guests in a pre-1776 house. That alone was a great experience. Add right in the Guilford Green, a great host in Tracy, comfortable beds and lots of touches. We highly recommend and it will be our go-to for our house guests that can’t fit in our house.

Exceptional assistance from host. My family was staying to respond to a family emergency. Tracy responded late at night and made some calls to arrange to extend our reservation so that my sister could stay on when I needed to fly home. Her patience, kindness and quick response were so appreciated at a difficult time. We hope to rent with her again as we anticipate more trips to Guilford.

Location, location! Steps from the historic Guilford Green. Walk out the door to the shops & restaurants. Comfortable 1st floor apartment. Tastefully & simply decorated. Immaculate. Private. All that we needed for our stay was provided.Tracy is a caring & helpful host.

Perfect Location and Home!

Gorgeous historic home just steps from the Guilford Green! Lovely, wide and honeyed floors; ample sunshine; roomy and well appointed spaces, with antiques alongside contemporary lighting and other furnishings. The house was spotless and well maintained, had well-functioning appliances, and we were very pleased with all aspects of our stay.

Perfect New England Charming House

We had the best time staying here. The location is perfect and you can easily walk to the town green, restaurants, shops, etc. I got married in Guilford and this was the best place I could ever imagine staying. The inside was gorgeous, and we had anything and everything we needed. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. She even had the grass moved so we could take bridal party robe pictures before our big day!!

Cool in the heat wave.

The air conditioning was wonderful. The back door should have a shade on it 2 keep out the heat in the summer. There should also b a screen door.

If you are going to Guilford Connecticut, this is the place to stay! It’s right off Guilford Green, a couple minutes walk from cute shops, restaurants and not too far from the train station. There’s plenty of parking. I was allowed to bring my little dog. The beds are really comfortable. There’s a washer and dryer and detergent. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishes, cookware and new appliances. The building itself was built in the 1700s and retains all of the charm while providing modern amenities. More than all of the above, the host is truly the best ever. This was my second stay in this VRBO and the responsiveness, flexibility and kindness of the host played a huge part in choosing this location a second time. If I need to rent a place to stay in Guilford again, I will return to this location and will recommend it to any family and friends needing a place to stay in the Guilford area.

Great stay in a lovely Guilford home

The rental property is very well-located close to the Guilford Green and the town marina and beach. The house actually has two rental units, which we did not know about. Since it’s an old house, sound traveled quite easily through the walls and floor and we were able to hear the other renters. Aside from this, the unit was well-appointed, there was plenty of parking and the beds were comfy.
