My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were a bit different than expected, but they provided just what we needed. The location was peaceful and serene, and we especially loved our morning walks along the water. We could hear some footsteps and conversations from above, so we weren’t sure if our voices carried upward as well. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Amazing Stay with Amazing hosts

My fiancé and I had an amazing stay. Our hosts were extremely kind through out and helpful when we had travel issues on the way in and had to check in late.

Quaint coastal area

The apartment was just as listed. The kitchen was well equipped for easy/quick meals, including 2 burners, toaster, pots and pans, dishes. We didn't cook there at all, other than use the Keurig and microwave. The double bed was a challenge for the 2 of us, but we made it work. The bed was comfy and extra blankets and pillows were provided. A nice table to eat meals. Sofa and Roku TV. A small fridge and freezer, also. We were there for a Fan Festival in downtown Guilford, so we basically showered and slept there. It was very clean, plenty of towels. The owners are upstairs and had 2 dogs, so we could hear them while there, but it wasn't late at night or disruptive, and we never saw the dogs, just heard them. The bathroom sink had a trickle of water, so we brushed our teeth and washed our faces in the kitchen sink. The high point of this little apartment was the easy access to the beach area and walking around Mulberry Point. Beautiful area! If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay there again. It was a quick drive to downtown Guilford and within 20 mins you could be at nearby towns. New Haven was about 30 mins away...highly recommend the Yale tour run by students. Cool small city. Sandy was very sweet, met us in the driveway and gave us a quick tour when we arrived and even called me a few weeks before to verify that we were coming. It was an enjoyable stay!

Loved the place

Very good location a few steps from Long Island Sound. The owners live in the house and are responsive to requests and needs of the renter. They both are wonderful individuals. I have stayed two years in a row and hope to return next year.

Great Weekend Getaway

Studio apt was exactly as described. Clean, with everything we needed. Close walk to beach. Used the kayaks that were provided by owners. Sandy and Daniel made our stay really nice!!

Great little place for 2

This was a lovely studio apartment. Sandy was very easy to work with. It was a short walk to a sunny private beach. We had a great meal at The Place, best lobster we ever had. Close to New Haven for pizza and the Stony Creek Brewery in Branford

A Month Long Stay

We picked this property for a long term rental so we could be near family. The location and size of the rental was perfect for our needs. The owner was warm, friendly and made sure our stay was an enjoyable experience.

Nice place!

This little apartment was perfect for our short trip to Guilford. Everything was great! We only left 4 stars for cleanliness because the toilet was not clean when we arrived. Otherwise the place was clean, our stay was wonderful and the host was very welcoming and accommodating!

Perfect for single traveler

Sandy’s place was perfect for me. I was looking for a quiet place to spend a few days by the beach and this was it! Quick walk to the beach... beautiful area....extremely clean little apartment with everything I needed. I brought my own sheets, but didn’t use them because the bed was like a hotel bed ❤️. Sandy lives upstairs and is easily accessible if I needed anything. It was a very relaxing stay. PS - If the listing says #13 - it is a mistake! The house is #14 Charles St. I spent a few extra minutes searching for 13 Charles St and there isn’t one...apparently HomeAway hasn’t corrected that. But 5 stars nonetheless!
