Welcome to our lovely 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo with island decor, king size bed, washer and dryer, dishwasher, AC and full kitchen and bathroom both updated just last year. Our condo is located on the second floor, on the cooler side of this friendly, tranquil, oceanside complex with a view of the ocean and lovely garden from our lanai.
Enjoy the solar heated pool, barbecue area, and lounging area in the palm trees in front of the the west facing shore - wonderful for watching sunsets, dolphins and whales as well as lingering over outdoor meals.
This is a great location for exploring the Big Island of Hawaii - amazing snorkeling spots (we see turtles every trip and last time we had dolphins swimming with us!), boogie boarding, surfing, swimming, the Kilauea Volcano, waterfalls, botanical gardens, hiking, golf, farmers' markets, restaurants, grocery stores and big, sandy beaches are all within driving distance. Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella are available for your beach outings. Our condo is 2 miles from the downtown, waterfront shopping and restaurant district and 1.5 miles from popular Magic Sands beach.
Every evening you'll be treated to a new sunset that you can enjoy from the lanai or the condo pool, or the ocean pool to the left of the complex, or the little beach to the right of the complex, or in the complex' lounging/grill/dining area right next to the ocean. So many choices!

I Loved my stay here at this condo!!! Excellent location! From shopping & all outdoor activities!! Beautiful property on the ocean! The Salt water pool is a plus! The sunsets are amazing from the property.Has everything you need to cook ,grill and just feel right at home!!

Peaceful and perfect

Great place for our little family (2 adults plus 1 4-year old). Very quiet and well-kept grounds. Really appreciated the beach chairs and boogie board.Thank you for the last minute accommodations.

Perfekt Location for us!

We have been in the same complex 2 years ago and really loved the apartment! The communication with the owners was fast and seem less and the apartment had just everything we needed… perfect location!

Perfect sunsets

We loved staying at Kona Isle. This very quiet and tropical paradise was perfect. The condo had everything you needed for your stay and was clean and cozy. The balcony was on the shadier side which made it very comfortable to sit out there and enjoy the surroundings. The pool was enjoyable and well maintained.

A memorable time

We had a great time. We were provided everything needed for snorkeling, beach time, cooking, and the tools for daily living. We watched the sunset over the ocean every day. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and it was exquisite.

Wonderful Hawaiian paradise

This property was fantastic! It had “everything” we could ever have wanted! Very clean and updated. Kitchen had all you need for cooking. It was a quiet location. Bed was soooo comfortable. The only thing I would say, is that the tv was a learning curve. I would definitely stay there again!

The view shown in the photos is a side-long as opposed to direct view from the lanai, but there is an unobstructed ocean view. This condo is very well-stocked with necessities and more, including games, playing cards, beach chairs, a small cooler and umbrella, as well as toiletry items. We had a small issue at check-in but it was quickly fixed with a phone call to the owner. The property is lovely and well-maintained with a very nice pool and common area with picnic tables and lounging chairs for oceanside relaxation, plus gas grills. Parking is convenient. It is in a great location, removed from the more-touristy area but close enough to get to a luau or to shop as desired. The king bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need for vacation cooking. The A/C is located only in the main living area, but strategic use of a fan cools down the bedroom fast. Overall this is an exceptional place to stay in Kailua-Kona for a couple or couple 1 child, 10/10 rating!

Paradise

We were so pleased with this beautiful condo.The property is exactly as the listing says it is. The fridge held a number of condiments as did the cupboard. There was shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom was a nice surprise.The pool is a very short distance away and the waterfront area is a wonderful place to watch the spectacular sunsets. We definitely recommend and would love to stay again sometime.

Fabulous Getaway Vacatio

This prpwety was beautiful inside with all the decorator touches. It had a beautiful updated bathroom, Remodeled kitchen with beautiful dishes , and all the needed amenities. We loved it all. This was in a great location where we could walk into town and enjoy the oceanside pool while even watching the sunsets. The icing on the cake was the rainbow our first eveni g there.

Great place!

The property is absolutely beautiful! Very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony is so nice! The ocean front area is stunning! We really enjoyed watching the sunsets. Quiet haven near Kailua Kona

This condo complex is just far enough from the main Kailua Kona strip that its very quiet. The units and grounds are well kept, and it seems like many of the units are occupied by actual owners. There is a wonderful barbecue/social area at the water's edge for casual conversations and sunset watching. The condo itself was well appointed with all the basics, including kitchen utensils and beach toys.

Organized & ocean front

Great views from this 1 BR unit's lanai. Updated, well organized and stocked with everything you need for a short stay including chairs, an umbrella, snorkeling equipment and a few beach toys. Comfortable bed, USB plugs near the nightstands and towels for both the beach and bathroom. Powerful A/C unit was appreciated in the evenings. Owner was very responsive. The only drawback was the noise - the building is of wood construction and on a busy street, so both the neighbors above us and the road were noisy at times.

Just my take...

Nice unit. Lots of amenities supplied. We appreciated the beach chairs. Small lanai but adequate for 2 at happy hour. Check-out request was 1030...which conflicted with the information on line and in the information provided in the unit. Not a big deal. All in all it was great.

OK Stay for Two at Kona Isle

Comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen, Nice to have A/C. The complex needs some TLC - caution tape marks rotten stairs & spindles. Cleaning disinfectant smell is overwhelming upon arrival. Poor view from the lanai - far back in the complex and neighbors can see right into the condo, with limited privacy. Older construction - can clearly/loudly hear upstairs neighbors.

Aloha dreams

This property was everything you need for a relaxing, adventurous or bit of both vacation. Location was excellent; market across the street, short drive to town or magic sands beach. Very walkable too along Alii drive, however you need to be aware of traffic. The amenities here are excellent from Tommy Bahamas chairs, coolers, boogie boards, umbrellas and snorkelling gear. You have everything you could possibly need to make meals at home. We enjoyed the property and the natural saltwater pool next door was a great surprise! Great snorkeling down the way at snorkeling beach with lovely volunteers each day. We loved Kona and can’t wait to return again soon. Hosts were great with communication and helpful with suggestions. Place was clean and had comfy beds! We felt very safe and all the neighbours were friendly and welcoming.

Such a lovely place to stay.

This apartment is extremely clean, comfortable and lovely. We had a nice view of gardens and the ocean from the lanai where we drank our coffee and ate our breakfast every morning. We could watch the sunset from the beach patio where we also barbecued our dinner several times. We drove into town to walk around most nights and to Magic Sands beach which was close by. The owners were extremely organized and had directions and information on where everything in the apartment was and how to use it which made everything easy and seamless. We appreciated the small cooler and Ice packs, the shopping bags that we took with us whenever we went out as well as the shampoo, hand cream and sunscreen that were left by others for us to use. Our only small difficulty was that sometimes we had a hard time getting the bedroom cool enough to sleep comfortably and we wonder if a small portable air con unit might help in that room. We would recommend this lovely apartment and appreciate the opportunity to rent it for the last week of our wonderful summer vacation!
