Cozy and comfortable combined with a convenient locale! This 1 bedroom 1 bath unit is in the ideal spot for a single or couple who want to step out their door and be only a few minutes walk from the heart of downtown Kona. Recently updated, enjoy everything Kona has to offer and quickly return to the comfort of your new home-away-from-home.

Don't miss a minute with this beautiful 1 bed, 1 bath condo right in the heart of downtown Kona. Just a block off the main strip you'll have full access to everything Kona has to offer including restaurants, shopping, beaches, and Kona Farmer's Market.

The bedroom has a king sized bed with an attached master bathroom. There are ceiling fans in the bedroom as well as in the living room to keep the air flowing throughout. There is an air conditioner positioned right outside the bedroom in the living room capable of controlling the temperature inside the entire unit. New flooring was installed in 2024 to match the rest of the condo

Don't feel like eating out? You won't have to with this unit's fully equipped kitchen. Kitchen has an oven, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster oven/air fryer, electric kettle, and more.

Relax on the couch after a long day of adventure and watch the flat screen smart TV. Feel free to log into any of your personal streaming services. The couch pulls out into a queen bed if needed. The unit is equipped with complimentary cable (via the Spectrum app) and wifi, so feel free to connect on your laptop or devices. When you need some fresh air, step out onto the lanai and enjoy the views of downtown Kona and the ocean just beyond. Sit down and enjoy a margarita while you watch the sunset over beautiful Kona Town.

This unit has one assigned parking space.

As a guest at Kailua Village, you will have access to the in-ground pool as well as on-site coin-operated laundry facilities and pay phone using Pay Range app. This unit is located on the second floor, but you’ll have access to the elevator for easy transport of your luggage to the unit.

This condo is all about the location! Easy walking distance to downtown Kona and tons of restaurants and shops! The condo itself was clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed!

Pros -well outfitted kitchen -beach chairs/snorkels/ice chest -good location Cons -less than one roll of toilet paper -roaches I would not stay here because of the roaches. I would not have booked if I knew there were roaches.

Location!

Great location for visiting downtown area. The place was clean and well stocked with essentials. A faint funky smell, but not enough to bother me and I'm pretty sensitive to smells. At least they did not try to mask it with air fresheners or candles. Bed was comfortable and there was a good variety of pillows. Bed sheets were 100% polyester. A fitted sheet would have been nice, as would a change of linens. The tub is slippery, a bath mat would be a good addition.

Happy experience

Location was fantastic. A few steps from Ali’i drive - Everything for the beach supplied. Clean and kitchen was great for making our own breakfasts. This was our first vrbo experience and a good one. Bring your own shampoo and even extra toilet paper if you stay more than a couple days though. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great Location

Great location - easy walking distance to Ali Street to many shops and restaurants. Window air conditioner worked fine for cooling place off Wish the overall cleanliness could have been better. Had issue originally with shower curtain liner being very dirty and disgusting but the management company came and replaced with in an hour after I called. Used a lot of air freshener but just couldn’t get rid of stale smell or like someone used to smoke there.

clean and the location was good but..

there was a problem with the laundry. First, there was no detergent in our room. Second, there was a laundry room, but "without coin-exchange machine." We were not able to use pay-range app, so we needed coin-exchange machine. When we sent a message to the host, they said they "believe there is one in the laundry room", but there wasn't. After that, the host didn't replied to our message. What a relief, there were a lot of clean towels. +other properties were clean and good. The view was nice too, and we had our own parking space.

We enjoyed our stay

My 6 yrs old son and I enjoyed our 7 day stay. Great location, walking distance to restaurants. It’s a old building, but inside the unit is clean. Great view from the balcony. You are able to see ocean far away. Few issues, the door nob came off once, and the coffee machine wasn’t working, but the management replaced them right away. Really appreciate their quick response. It’s also very safe, you can’t access the elevator without a key. I also like the floor plan, which allows good airflow. Over all I am happy about this place.

Great Stay

The building itself is a little worn down, but the upkeep of the condo itself is evident. Good location, clean, easy check-in and quick responsive host. I accidently locked myself out of the condo and First Island Realty were able to unlock it within 30mins of contacting them. Great location but the balcony overlooks a historic church cemetery, not a big deal but a little surprise.

Perfectly Adequate

The place was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, and is in a quiet area, especially for near downtown Kona. We used to own a vacation rental a few blocks away, so my only suggestion would be to add some decoration: a few pictures on the walls, some tropical print throw pillows and bedspread would really brighten up the apartment. But, other than that, it was great!

Location..

Great location, was able to walk to food, shops and the waterfront. The unit was clean and had a good layout, the guaranteed parking was a plus.

Hidden Gem

The Condo is a hidden gem. The appartment house looks from the outside a bit old, but this condo is the opposite. Looks very new, very clear, has all what you need. Good location, clean, easy check-in and very friendly host. If we come back to Big Island an Kona, we will stay here again for longer time.

Wonderful location and very clean!

Super cute and clean condo was perfect for what we needed for 3 nights. Easy parking so we could load up our toddler and infant for adventures during the day.Great place to relax in the evenings.

Great location.

The condo was located in a nice safe neighbourhood. I was able to walk to the local shops, cafes and the beach which are only moments away.

Excellent Value Home-Base for Ocean View Kona Town- Walk to everything!

Aloha! Our family of three enjoyed our stay April 18-23 2019 very much :-) We were able to walk comfortably to everything in Kona town, so we were able to sample the happy-hours & wander the waterfront whenever the mood struck without worrying about driving or parking. Having a convenient reserved parking space close to the unit was another big plus so we could go exploring further out & not worry about finding a space on our return as has occurred at other locations on previous trips. Furnishings were comfortable, good linen supply, and kitchen materials. Daughter approved of the fold out hide-a-bed as comfortable, and the firmness of the main bed was comfortable for my wife & I. The ceiling fans and breezes kept us comfortable, so we did not use the AC. It is important to draw the curtains if you are going out for the afternoon to control the sun. Boogie board, beach chairs, and ice chests provided were much appreciated & a nice touch. The property overall is well maintained, quiet, and safe & secure. We enjoyed the poolside lpg bbq one evening for a fish dinner & although the pool is smallish it is very clean and refreshing at the end of the day. There is a homeless factor down along the main Kona waterfront strip but they were not in the condo building or parking vicinity. Our stay included a holiday weekend, but traffic noise was minimal & church bells were pleasant, brief in duration, & at a reasonable hour ;-) I believe this represents one of the best values for the location & Kona & will hope there is availability forour next trip! Mahalo nui loa!

Beautiful ocean view, central location, very comfortable with 4 adults.

We had a short drive from the airport to get to the condo. A numbered parking space was available to us. Condo is on 2nd floor. The building has 2 elevators. The condo is bright and airy. In the afternoons outdoor temps were 82 - 85. There was always a refreshing breeze coming thru the condo, with the Lanai door and the front door open. Very comfortable at night for sleeping. It was quite comfortable for 4 adults. It is a short walk to shopping, restaurants, and beach. Beautiful sunsets! We will recommend this property to others, and would definitely stay here again.
