During your stay head out to one of the many local micro-breweries, cafes, antique shops and much more. Explore the many cider mills, enjoy a hayride, or get lost in a corn maze, there's no shortage of ways to make your fall adventure unforgettable. So grab your coziest sweater, your besties, and your sense of adventure, and come experience the ultimate fall getaway!

Only 13 miles away is the historic village of Cooperstown. Cooperstown's picture perfect Main Street has many restaurants, shops, pubs and cafes and, anchoring it all is the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Catch a game at Doubleday Field, a baseball stadium heralded as the "birthplace of baseball." From Main Street you are a three-minute walk to the shores of one of Upstate New York's prettiest lakes (aside from Lake Canadarago!) Otsego Lake. Working with the host, Kimberly, was a genuine pleasure for both of us. She took hospitality to a whole new level. Her home was impeccably furnished and decorated, and it’s obvious that the entire home was recently remodeled. She made sure that the Home included everything you could ask for in terms of furnishings, linens, and towels, and bathroom products. We would definitely choose to come back to this house in the future.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy lake house with stunning views while our son played baseball in Cooperstown. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We ate at several recommended restaurants and really enjoyed all of them. We fished several times and used the stand up paddle boards too.

Baseball/family

We came to stay for a baseball tournament but wanted something more for the older siblings. This lake house was perfect! It was beautiful, clean, offered many activities for the water, and the owner was so supportive during our stay. I would stay here again in a heart beat! The perfect getaway from the intensity of baseball tournaments! Loved it!

Lake Canadarago Views

We had a fabulous stay at Kim’s place! The lake views were amazing! The lake itself was so much fun with all that she has for you…paddle boards, kayak, floats and such easy access. The house was nicely done and had many of the amenities needed for a vacation away from home. It was I quiet at night, we loved watching the stars! Cooperstown is a short 20mins away and such a cute town. We will definitely be back!

The best place to relax and find peace!

We had the pleasure of staying at Grey Skye while visiting family in New York. It was a beautiful retreat designed for peace and relaxation. The view overlooking the lake was stunning and we enjoyed getting out on the water with paddle boards. Coffee on the deck while birdwatching was the best way to start the day as was enjoying the cool breeze by the lake in the evening. The home had everything we could have needed and was in close proximity to stores and activities. We would love to come back in the future!

Peaceful Getaway

This was our second stay here and once again it did not disappoint! Kim's place is perfect! The view of the lake is just beautiful! We all enjoyed sunbathing on the deck and then enjoying a quite paddle board ride on the lake. Here home is so cute! Nicely decorated and the perfect size for my family of 4. My MIL came with her sister and there was still plenty of room. We explored the area and just were in awe of it's beauty! Again, just a great place for a relaxing vacation.

Purchased property after husband passed away in 2020. The renovations has served as a wonderful form of grief therapy for myself and my two daughters.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

For over 25 years, my late husband and I would come up to the lake to visit with family who owns a vacation home on the lake. It is so peaceful on the lake, not a lot of boat traffic. In the early mornings there is usually a thick mist on the lake - it makes it look like your just a few steps away from heaven.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The home is newly renovated with upscale amenities (such as a Lynx grill w/ power burner and rotisserie). We have private off the road parking, and the dock is set up that if you wanted to bring in a small boat you can (boat launch less than 5 minutes away).
