Welcome to Lyle. This beach house checks all the boxes. Outside, you’ll find swoon-worthy balconies, palm trees scattered all over, and a beautiful pool with spa for hanging out. Inside, you’ll love the crisp white and blue color palette, wet bar with wine fridge, and an awesome quadruple bunk bedroom with shuffleboard table. Fun, fun, fun!

Located in Northwest Florida, Destin is often called the “world’s luckiest fishing village”. This Emerald coast city is known as for its sparkling white beaches, numerous golf courses and world-famous fishing. Nearby zipline courses, dolphin cruises and amusement parks make it a perfect destination for families. Adults and large groups also flock here for beach parties during the day and live music in the evening. Once the sun sets, the Destin Harbor turns up with lively bars, restaurants and dancing.

Nearby Activities: James Lee Beach, Destin Commons, Destin Harbor Walk Village, Henderson Beach State Park, Gator Beach, Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park, Crab Island, Graffiti & Funky Blues Shack, McGuire’s Irish Pub.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

This is our second time staying in this home. Everything was wonderful. The only suggestion that has been given to me is pool and/or some beach toys for kids.

The Lyle

Location was good. Property needs some upkeep. Oven and stove did not work well. All the cook wear pans,pots baking sheets had no non stick left on them very difficult to use. Back door kept getting stuck. And 4000 in extra fees for just host and VRBO is way too extra

The house was generally clean upon my arrival; however, I encountered several issues during my stay. There was mold present inside the toilet and on the ceilings, which appeared to have been painted over. Additionally, the metal trash cans in the bathroom showed signs of rust, and two sinks were clogged. When I went to take a shower, I found a significant amount of black hair stuck to the shower walls from a previous guest. Furthermore, the kitchen pans were heavily used, with the inside lining deteriorating. On a positive note, the pool was well-maintained, and the location was excellent.

Perfect Property

The house was perfect for our large family of 20. The pool & location to the beach was great. We rented golf carts, but walking was also okay to many locations. Stores and shopping were also close enough to walk. We had everything needed for a great week. Check in was super easy and available to our entire group, which was so helpful as we arrived at different times. The hosts responded immediately to any questions. We had a wonderful week & I highly recommend.

Friends Week

We enjoyed the property. It was conveniently located to stores, the beach and a short drive to main Destin boardwalk and Crab Island area. The house having bathrooms in each bedroom was nice. The floors need a serious cleaning, it was gross having black feet or inconvenient to wear shoes around, particularly if we were using the pool. Kitchen cooking utensils and pans need to be replaced poor quality and overused.

Nice home for last minute get away

We enjoyed staying at Lyle. The location was great, close access to the beach, restaurants and stores. The house was much larger than we needed but we wanted to have a heated pool and hot tub and this house delivered. I would recommend this house to large groups as there were many sleeping accommodations and bathrooms.

Amazing House Near Beach Access

The house was absolutely perfect! It was exactly how photos showed online. Every room had an in suite bathroom which was awesome! It was nice to have two master bedrooms on the first floor so our parents didn’t have to go up and down the steps. Our kids loved the bunk bed rooms, which had a safe ladder and were lower to the ground. Kitchen was spacious and loved having a big enough table where everyone could eat. Loved the ice makers in the house for beach coolers and drinks etc! Spent most of our days out by the beautiful pool! Loved how part of the pool had shade in the late afternoon so we could cool off coming back from the beach. Loved the location, was so quiet and little traffic since close to a dead end street near Henderson beach . We rented a golf cart and was a quick 2 minute drive to crystal beach parking lot for golf carts(across from Camille’s restaurant-which had amazing pastries in the morning) living area had two huge couches for everyone to sit comfortably. We loved this property and looking forward to renting it again!

Great time in Destin!

We were there for a youth baseball tournament and the house was perfect size/fit for a number of families. Walking distance to the beach was a plus. Hosts were very responsive to our minor requests. Great house!

We loved the house and pool area! None of us could get any of our televisions to work. The pool had not been cleaned before we got there. Had to call to have someone come clean it. The ice maker downstairs did not work, they did send someone to check it out but it couldn’t be fixed.

Family Graduation Trip

The house was perfect for our large family vacation! (8 adults and 8 kids) We had plenty of room, really liked that each room had a bathroom and the kids loved the pool! It was an easy walk to the beach and shops or a short drive to the grocery store, Destin Commons, sweet treats shops or entertainment of our choice. We would definitely come back and stay at this house!

Fabulous Fall Planning Retreat!

We had a group of 10 ladies that gathered fur a fall planning retreat. We arrived on Monday afternoon and left on Thursday morning. The house was just as described! Beautiful! Great common space for us to gather and a table large enough to gather and have our meeting. Short walk to a gorgeous beach. But we really enjoyed the jacuzzi & pool. Close to great eating places and fabulous shopping! My only minor complaint I had was the pool needed attention. I called and we were already scheduled for maintenance that day. They came right away and cleaned/vacuumed the pool for us. The backyard landscape area needs a little touching up.. but… it was November! Would definitely stay again. Great communication with staff. 4 stars! Thumbs up! 😁

Perfect for multiple families

Each bedroom had its own bathroom which worked well with 7 families. The pool was secluded but could not be heated due to the high temps in October. The house was around a 5 minute walk to the public beach access.

Beautiful home for a family retreat

This home was exactly as described. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lyle house. Our family - ages 1 -71 gave it a thumbs up. This was probably the best house we stayed in over the years. We get together once a year from all over the world to spend time together. Supplies were provided for all bathrooms and kitchens. Plenty of towels for bathrooms as well as for the pool. Just 2 short blocks to the beach. Staff was very quick to respond to questions.

Family stay together

My sons wedding was at a venue 1.5 blocks away from the house. We had family members from both sides staying at the house together for a few days before & after the wedding. Because of the amazing location of the house to the beach, shopping & jogging trails we always had something for everyone to do!! (And met at night for stories of the day in the open kitchen and pool!!) The rooms were all very comfortable!! And plenty of seating. The house could have used a broom and 1more iron-but bathroom toiletries were sufficient. Will gladly stay again!!!

Perfect Place

This property was the perfect space for our large family. We al had plenty of room and were surprised at the size of the living/kitchen space and the outside. It was bigger than we all anticipated and it was perfect! We would love to come back.
