Getting to the house on the windy Mountain roads was a challenge at almost midnight when we got into town. But when we got off in the morning and went out on the deck, the view was stunning! The house was very accommodating for four people we would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here. Beautiful view, quiet, and the house was everything we needed. Close enough to Gatlinburg and the mountains. Our adult kids loved playing pool and shuffle board. The hot tub was nice too. The roads up to the house were a little narrow but we got used to them. We definitely would stay here again.

You can't beat the view here! The house was great and had everything we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful, a nice change from Gatlinburg. It was not too far from what we wanted to do (Anakeesta, Great Smoky Mountains). We also liked that check out wasn't too involved- no washing sheets or stripping beds like other places we've stayed. We would definitely go back.

The views were amazing. Unfortunately, the house is pretty run-down. The hot tub was not working, and the HVAC fan did not turn off. Doors wouldn't close without force—front door keybad as old and damaged. The host seemed to know the hot tub was an issue, and with it being super cold, we were pretty disappointed. Been to the Smokies 5 times, and this is the worst place, unfortunately.

Thank you for your feedback—we’re glad you enjoyed the views, as they really are a highlight of the home. We’re sorry to hear about the maintenance issues you experienced during your stay. These were unexpected and not reflective of the experience we aim to provide. Our team did have service providers scheduled and parts available during your stay, and we offered to come out to address the items, but we understand that timing doesn’t always work for guests once they’re settled in. We take pride in maintaining the home to a high standard, and feedback like this is taken seriously to ensure everything is addressed promptly. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

This is a great place to stay with owners that really seem like they want you to have the best experience you can have. They have a great welcome guide that was handy to have before and during our stay. We definitely had bear encounters while there and it was very exciting!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

When we first saw Happy Trails, we were blown away by the sweeping mountain views and the classic Smoky Mountain charm of Cobbly Nob Resort. With three king bedrooms, spacious decks, and fireplaces on both levels, it’s the perfect balance of cozy retreat and family-friendly fun. Guests love that it’s close to downtown Gatlinburg yet feels worlds away, with resort pools, golf, and 24-hour security right at your doorstep.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What makes Happy Trails special are the breathtaking mountain views from nearly every window. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the deck, soaking in the hot tub, or enjoying a friendly game of pool or shuffleboard upstairs, the Smoky Mountains are always your backdrop.

All three king bedrooms are on the lower level, each with deck access so everyone can step outside and take in the scenery. The great room upstairs features floor-to-ceiling windows, a wood-burning fireplace, and game tables that let you play while gazing out across three mountain ranges.

As part of Cobbly Nob Resort, you’ll also enjoy 2 seasonal pools, 24-hour resort security, and Bent Creek Golf Course at the entrance. It’s the perfect blend of privacy, fun, and unforgettable views.
