Upon your arrival at Pied-à-Terre, you're greeted by an inviting screened porch spanning the front of the cottage, destined to be the spot to curl up with a cup of coffee in the morning to watch the sunrise and listen to the waves. From there, step into this dreamy 2 BEDROOM/2 BATH cottage and be simply captivated by the high ceilings, the white on white backdrop, white painted floors, light filled rooms, and eclectic decor.
A modern, fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need for whipping up delicious meals with your market-fresh catch of the day, or simply enjoying charcuterie and aperitif or perhaps some champagne. With your morning breakfast savor a cappuccino or latte, or pick up some freshly baked pâtisseries from nearby Center Street Coffee, located just a few blocks away, A private chef can also be arranged to cook for you during your stay; simply inquire with our Concierge team for details. This incredible beach cottage includes a washer/dryer, ample off-street parking, rear fenced yard and outdoor grill.
Pied-à-Terre SLEEPS 6 GUESTS and with all-on-one-floor living, generous seating area, dining table for eight, and two bedrooms, each with their own bath for comfort and privacy, this is a true beach sanctuary. In one bedroom you'll find a QUEEN BED, and the second bedroom, appointed with 2-sets of TWIN BUNK BEDS, can easily accommodate 4 guests. Add in luxury linens, spaces filled with an abundance of plush pillows and lush throws, and you'll find this is the perfect spot to relax after sun-filled days on the beach, or exploring historic downtown Charleston. While it's true that a stay at Pied-à-Terre feels like you've been transported to a chic, luxury rental in the French countryside, it actually delivers big on an authentic, unhurried Folly Beach vacation and is ideal for families, friends, a girls weekend getaway, couples trip or a romantic holiday for two.
This prime location also means you're just blocks from Center Street, the hub of Folly's great shopping and dining. You can walk or bike to downtown Folly including coffee shops, surf shops, local dining favorites like the Lost Dog Café, Taco Boy, or Rita's, Bert's Market and the iconic Folly Beach Pier.
NOTE: Pied a Terre is a FAMILY FRIENDLY house and parties are strictly prohibited. Every home in our portfolio is designed to host only vacation guests, and guests of Luxury Simplified Retreats are expected to abide by the rules and NOISE ORDINANCE enforced by the Town of Folly Beach. Those that violate the terms of occupancy, host events, and or parties will result in immediate loss of use. The City of Folly Beach has strict rules and regulations regarding such events and if in violation, guest will incur fine of $2,500. Pied a Terre is a NO SMOKING property. No exceptions.
Access
Each of our luxury vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests' stay will be provided by your Concierge on the date of your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, your concierge will be ready and waiting to assist you by phone. In addition, for properties with gate or garage access, you will be given this access code on the day of your arrival as well.
Interaction
Upon arrival, after the established 4PM check-in time, you may enter and exit the rental at your leisure with these codes. Additionally, requests can be made for your Concierge to meet you at the property upon check-in. We are here to make the check-in process a seamless one!

Our concierge team is committed to delivering exceptional service, impeccable cleanliness and all the amenities of your everyday home. With each stay you'll enjoy high thread count linens, spa quality towels, hair dryer, ironing board, washer and dryer, standard coffee maker, kitchen cookware and utensils, shower toiletries and soaps, extra linens and towels, air conditioning, cable and wireless internet, and more. With our concierge services you can choose to have our team handle all the details of your trip. From stocking your refrigerator to reserving beach equipment, there isn't much our Concierge team can't help you with during your stay. And should you need any recommendations, it would be our pleasure to provide suggestions for restaurants, make reservations, organize activities, and answer any questions.
Please note that the wood stove is decorative and not for guest use.
We offer the option to purchase trip insurance through Rental Guardian. We highly recommend adding trip insurance to your reservation, especially if you are traveling during hurricane season (June-November).
At the time of booking, we require a payment of 50% of your total rental amount. The remainder of your balance will be due 30 days prior to your check in date and will be automatically charged to the card we have on file. If you are booking within 30 days of your expected arrival date, the full payment is due at the time of booking.
Folly Beach has a noise ordinance starting at 10PM that applies to private residences. Please be mindful of your neighbors. Noise complaints can result in fines.
Minimum rental age is 25.
