Welcome to Mas l'Andreu!
In the heart of the Pyrénées-Orientales, one hour from Perpignan and the Mediterranean Sea, this old farmhouse built around 1756 (with its 13th-century dovecote) is tucked away in a secluded valley surrounded by nature, not far from the small Catalan village of Corsavy.
The ideal spot for a mountain vacation, this old Catalan farmhouse at the foot of Mount Canigou offers direct access to the Riuferrer River and a waterfall. This unique location promises a stay that blends authenticity and comfort. Here, you can enjoy the tranquility and fresh air of this true haven of peace.
It’s the perfect place to unwind and relax far from the hustle and bustle of the world. You can relax on the property and let yourself be enchanted by the spellbinding serenity of the place: enjoy the 3,000 m² of gardens, meditate by the waterfall, feel the tranquility of the forest, stroll along the river, climb the hill above the house, do yoga by the pool before taking a dip, relax in the hot tub, swim against the current in the spa, sweat it out in the sauna, and get some exercise… on the bocce court!
If the weather isn’t cooperating, a recreation room converted from an old barn will save your stay: there, you can play pool, foosball, or arcade games, or simply enjoy a drink with your loved ones while listening to the jukebox or reading the guest books.
If you prefer to stay active, this vacation rental is ideally located between the sea and the mountains and offers a perfect base for outdoor activities: hiking or horseback riding throughout the Canigou massif, mountain biking, canyoning, rafting, via ferrata, tree-top adventure courses, and golf (Falgos, Saint Cyprien, Montescot)…
The beaches of the Côte Vermeille are an hour away, the Costa Brava is 1 hour and 30 minutes away, and Barcelona is 2 hours away. For spa enthusiasts, the Amélie-les-Bains thermal baths and the thermal spa in Le Boulou are about 20 minutes from the house.
You can also enjoy many activities in the region: visit Corsavy, a typical Catalan village; Arles-sur-Tech and its abbey; Prats-de-Mollo and its Fort Lagarde; the thermal baths and Roussillon wine cellars in Amélie-les-Bains; the Abbey of Saint-Martin-du-Canigou; Villefranche-de-Conflent (Fort Liberia, the “Yellow Train”...), Prades, Collioure, the Cathar castles (Quéribus, Peyrepertuse...), and more.
The Rodella procession in Arles-sur-Tech, the feria, and the folk festivals in Céret and Amélie-les-Bains take place during the summer. You’ll also find a mini-golf course in Arles-sur-Tech (Le Bahia), as well as two casinos in Amélie-les-Bains and Le Boulou.
This spacious 64 m² vacation rental features two bedrooms and a living room with a fully equipped kitchenette (21 m², running east-west, overlooking the garden and the hill).
The Riuferrer bedroom is 16 m² and faces west (view of the hill with direct outdoor access). The Vallespir bedroom measures 19 m² and faces east (view of the garden). Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
This vacation rental can accommodate up to 6 people. Each room is equipped with two single beds measuring 90 x 200 cm that can be converted into a double bed (king size, 180 x 200 cm). The living room is furnished with a sofa and a 140 x 190 cm sofa bed.
Amenities include a gas stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, television (satellite and terrestrial digital TV—SAT—with a decoder featuring an USB port), and Internet (Wi-Fi). An 11 m² balcony-terrace with a granite table is located in front of the living room entrance and is reserved for guests of this cottage.
The cottage has one entrance via the living room on the first floor and another via the Riuferrer bedroom on the first floor (due to the layout of the property).
It is rated three stars as a furnished tourist accommodation.
We also offer the Wilfred le Velu vacation rental (1 bedroom, sleeps 4) and the Guillaume de Gausseleme vacation rental (2 bedrooms, sleeps 6). Each vacation rental has its own separate entrance, set apart from the others.
