Excellent stay at ideally situated apartment.

The apartment is in a chateau very near to the old town of Roquebrune. It was very comfortable and notably has a wonderful terrace overlooking the coast and Monaco. We will certainly be visiting again. Many thanks.

Great location

An apartment with all of the amenities and of course, the great view from the large patio. We loved the charm of the entrance to the building and the wonderful and peaceful gardens on the property. Having a parking spot was a great benefit that we didn’t take for granted. We enjoyed our week stay!

Fantastic apartment with stunning views

An absolutely stunning apartment with amazing views of Monaco and the Mediterranean from the private balcony. Our housekeeper recommended dining at the restaurants in the medieval village - a 10 minute (uphill) walk up a path at the back gates. The food and the ambience at the restaurants was fantastic - we ate at 3 different place during our week! Thoroughly recommend!

Wonderful!

The condo was very clean and spacious. The patio looking out to Monaco was spectacular! Jonathan was very responsive with all our question. Mme Lafond was very helpful as well. We would definitely recommend you stay here. When we come back to the Cote D’Azur we will stay at Johnathan’s again for sure!

Fantastic place, I don’t think the pics do it justice. Mme Lafond trés gentille and does the owner justice. We didn’t have a contact number but that was quickly remedied. I think we will definitely be back. C’était superbe. Merci x

Perfect location

The view from the apt is stunning. The apt building and grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Mme. Lafond was helpful and reliable in assisting us with check-in and out, even though our flight was delayed and we arrived late in the night. We hope to return to this gem of a location in Roquebrun.

Very nice apartment with a nice view

My wife and myself loved the building and the apartment with its sensational terrasse and views. Obviously the weather during our 2 week stay was on our side as well. There were little issues in the apartment but Jonathan took care of it immediately and we enjoyed our time. Highly recommended.

Very Unique Spot

Super unique spot legitimately in a chateau. I really liked the small medieval town of Roquebrune as well. Only issue was that AC was not working, but I was assured it is being fixed! So can't blame them for that. Madame Lefond is great- helpful if you know even just a tiny bit of french.

Living in a "Chateau"

We rented this apartement again this year and it was again a wonderful experience and stay! The site is lovely with a fantastic view to the sea and Monaco, the rooms are spacious and absolutely clean and modern, everything is in a very good condition and the terrace is the highlight. The ancient city of Roquebrune and many restaurants are right around the corner. Thank you very much - especially to Madame Lafond, who had always a smile for uns! We will come back!

nice place

Everything was great except the contact person did not speak English and we do not speak French. So we had to involve our French friends to communicate for us. Also I would recommend the owner to provide shampoo as we would expect it in any rental place. Honestly, we did not have time to go shopping for a shampoo and we could not bring it from overseas. Location is great! View is unbeatable! The size of the apartment is very roomy and comfortable. I would recommend it.

Very nice view and somewhat remote location

It clean, quiet, very simple, and has a nice view. There are four locks to get through to the apartment and someone must be onsite to let you in. This requires some coordination and inconveniences depending on your travel schedule. There was no soap anywhere to wash hands in any sink. So bring your own. You need to make your own bed, so give yourself time before bed to do that. The building dated, very large, and feels like nobody else is there. That is a good thing if you want to be away from people, but it feels like a haunted house if you like some energy around you. There is nothing happening around here and you are 20 minutes by car to Monaco.

Great Time

The apartment is modern and clean. The view from the veranda is surreal. We were there during the Monaco Yacht Show so there were dozens of small to giant yachts in the bay. Roquebrune is a little medieval village with some wonderful restaurants and a tine little grocery with it's own wine cave. Bring your walking shoes and defibrillation. We visited Monte Carlo, Menton, Eze, Village Frans Su Mer, Cap Ferret, St. Paul de Vence and were captured by the individual character of each little town. Antibes, Cannes are also within easy (1 hour) driving distance. As for driving, just getting around gives you a Formula 1 experience. Back to the unit, the Chateau is unique. It has a wonderful park like grounds, a nice pool area, easy parking, and is kept spotless. The bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept in, the tub/shower, separate toilet were new and well lit. It is a very nice place. We had a great time. Scott from Indianapolis

Stylish South of France Lifestyle Holiday

The apartment is clean, comfortable and has a fully equipped kitchen. We brought Nespresso pods with us for the coffee machine. The well-kept chateau and gardens exude an opulence of yesteryear and the illuminated pool is perfect for an evening swim. The spectacular view of Monaco and the ever-changing parade of yachts and other watercraft give a wonderful backdrop to life on the terrace. The (new?) air-con units (living room and bedroom) are excellent, as is the view of the hills from the bedroom window in the morning. We used our car for trips to the local supermarket (Utile – 4 mins), to the busy tourist town of Merton and to the small Roquebrune train station for day trips to Monaco (10 mins) and Nice (30 mins). Walking – Up to the Medieval centre (very picturesque with great restaurants) and down to the beach, all via ‘escalier’ (pedestrian only paths). The 90 minute coastal path walk around the ‘Cap’ is breath-takingly beautiful with many opportunities for a picnic or to swim off of the rocks. Roquebrune is a classy, residential neighbourhood with a great South of France atmosphere. Negatives? It was quite expensive and there was always the worry it would not be worth it but after arriving we happily realized it was money extremely well spent. Improvements? Something for outdoor food preparation? BBQ/Raclette grill/Fondue set…….but I really got nothing. 😊 A superb holiday!

Check-In und check-out mit der überaus charmanten Madame Lafond wie immer einfach wunderbar, effektiv und schnell, Kommunikation mit Vermieter sehr gut, Wohnung, Küche, Bad in sehr gepflegtem Zustand, Ausstattung komplett, sehr sauber, Lage im "Chateau de la Mer" herrlich,Terrasse mit fantastischem Blick auf Meer und Monaco umwerfend, nur der Holz-Terrassenboden bedarf bald einer Reparatur oder Erneuerung bis wir wiederkommen - und wir kommen bestimmt wieder zurück! Vielen Dank!

sehr gepflegte Wohnung mit gigantischem Blick

Die Wohnung ist ideal für zwei Personen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, der Blick von der Terrasse kaum zu überbieten. Die gesamte Anlage ist extrem gepflegt. Die Lage erlaubt viele Aktivitäten, und man ist sehr schnell in Monaco und Menton Probleme werden sofort gelöst.
