Beautifully renovated Florida home with open floor plan out to swimming pool and canal front with direct access to the ocean. You can easily walk or bike to nearby beaches or start paddle boarding or kayaking directly in front of the house. You can rent boats and jet skiis and keep them in front of home for your convenient use. Many things to do in the area: tennis, basketball, pickle ball, playsets for kids, many bike paths, and more. All kinds of restaurants (Several waterfront) and shops in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. Free bike rentals in Punta Gorda with well marked bike paths and a beautiful long boardwalk.

Short spring break getaway

Great little spring break getaway. My family and I had a great time. The house was clean, the area was quiet. My son and wife loved the pool and I enjoyed the canal. The owner was great to work with and was very informative, clearly focused on us having a great trip.

Spring Break

We typically stay at beachfront resorts but wanted to try something different this year. We loved the location. Easy drive to a variety of beautiful beaches. The house was clean and updated. Beds were super comfortable. Loved having the pool and grill to have a nice chill day at the house. Phil was attentive and overall very easy process.

Beautiful home

This house was so nice super clean newly renovated. Neighbors kept to themselves. The lady next door and jim and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The pool was amazing and it was beautiful lit up at night! This house has everything you need in it! The owner was very nice and responsive. There are so many beautiful amazing beaches within about 30 min of this home blind pass beach at eanglewood was my favorite big shells free parking breathtaking views! I highly reccomend this house! I would reccomend blinds or curtains on the french doors i felt like the people across the canal could see right in at night! We will be sure to return sometime for sure!

Great little house with a view

The house extremely clean, very welcoming to our family of 5. It worked out great with the bunk beds for my twins and the other bed for my youngest. They thought the bunk beds were so fun! The owner of the property was very responsive and helpful. He was a joy to work with. The kitchen was fully equipped which made it so nice to be able to cook meals in and there was a grill which was nice to cook on. The pool was definitely a highlight. All my kids could stand in it and swim around. We spent so much time in the pool enjoying the day and then grilled for lunch. The river behind the property was so pretty we would watch birds in it and neighbors fish in it as well. It was nice to have your coffee in the morning and see the birds in the river. There is a bathroom outside by the pool which was amazing! So the house didn’t get wet or messy. Very clever and useful. The house is 3 minutes from the beach! It was all around a great comfortable stay. It’s perfect for families and just couples. You will not regret staying at this adorable house.

Super clean home, very accommodating

We arrived late at night during a lightning and thunder storm in 80 degree weather. The home was very clean and accommodating. It's a small home but nicely laid out and met our needs very well. The temperature was nice and cool inside the house. We stayed for a week and looked forward to a cool plunge in the pool after 80+ degree heat. I'm not sure if it was because of the storm or what but the pool was not very clean and it got really bad by the end of our stay with with green algae water. At first we tried skimming but it didn't really help. We thought we would rent a boat or kayaks but the dock was dilapidated and didn't seem like a good idea. The owners let us use their bikes, which was fun. The bikes were hung in the carport and were really heavy. They were a bit hard to get down and we couldn't get them back up. I have a feeling the owners are a lot taller than us. We enjoyed our stay but wished the pool was clean.

Fun in sunny Florida!

This property is centrally located to a lot of options to explore for your trip/vacation. The pool in the backyard is great for everyday swims! The canal with the owner provided kayaks makes it easy to get out and explore. Take evening rides with the property bicycles! We ventured to a nearby state park to see alligators. And we visited 3 different beaches with the clear, blue water of the gulf coast. Everyday you can drive to a different beach! The house is close to grocery stores and restaurants, but tucked back off the main road. There is a riverfront beach with a boat ramp 5 minutes up the road. 2 parks with playgrounds within 5 minutes. Great amenities on and around the property! The neighbors are friendly, too! Jim (across the street) is handy and can give good recommendations. A backyard neighbor offered for us to use her paddle board. The owner provides pretty much everything you need from toilet paper, to dishes, to linens, to even fingernail polish remover! Plus 5 points just for having the little things! There are beach chairs and a beach umbrella, sand toys, noodles, and floats for the pool! The owners have done some nice updates and the living + kitchen + dining is a roomy, open space for everyone to be together. There are books and games to play together, too! The owners were available to communicate with. They were very accommodating, too, with a last minute change. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in this area. It's very budget friendly, too!

Spring break stay

Everything was good. Nice remodeled home. Good communication with host. Two things negative 1. Pool was extremely cold. Needs to invest in solar cover. 2. House temperature was set at 77, and couldn't change it. Found out on last day that if we asked they could change it from phone. This should be in listing information.

Comfortable and convenient

Everything at this house was pretty near perfect and clean. Kitchen was updated and the pool was wonderful. The location was very convenient but off the beaten path.

Great Getaway Spot

We came in a few days early before heading to the Keys. Phil was quick to communicate when the Google home wouldn’t listen for the A/C to turn down. The house was comfortable and the pool was nice. The boys enjoyed the dock and watching the fish swim. Mr. Jim across the road was super nice and helpful with giving us advice on places to visit and even brought charts for my husband to look at for our trip to the keys with the boat. Would definitely recommend this little piece of Heaven!

Great vacation home1

Phil was very helpful and communicated well. The recommendations I have would be an outdoor patio set so outside dining would be possible. The house is great, the pool definitely made the house. The kitchen is very nice and well-stocked. We will definitely be back!

Nice home, nice area.

Phils place looked exactly as it was described. It was very clean. The house is a bit small but it’s spacious. Amenities were included which was a plus! Phil was very responsive and answered all questions. Phils place is a good place to venture out and see other areas. Venice beach and Siesta key are 35-45 minutes away. There is a beach less than a mile from Phils place but it’s more like a bay and the waters not very clear. If you’re into fishing it’s the perfect beach to fish from.. if you’re wanting to relax and get in the water I suggest Venice or Siesta… if you go to Siesta make you you get there by 8 so you can find a parking spot. (It gets crowded) There are a few things we disliked.. 1. It was super hot inside the house. You can’t mess with the thermometer, so if you get hot easily like my husband and I this is not the house for you, it stayed 77 the entire time. 2. No TVs in the bedrooms. It rained off and on our entire trip so when we weren’t outside we stayed inside. We had to share the Tv in the living area. 3. There wasn’t any rails on the pool.

Great pool!

Loved the salt water pool with bbq grill next to it. I immediately felt at home. The location was accessible and easy to get everywhere. I had everything I needed to cook, eat and have a good time. Just like advertised.

Great location and house!

Loved the house , only issue was no handrail or ladder to get in pool. We talked and the owner said he will fix that. Great owner and house!!! We will recommend this place to others!!

Great stay!

The house was clean and exactly like it stated in the description. The Care taker checked on us to make sure everything was going well and the owner texted me to make sure we didn’t have any questions. The pool was sparkly clean and you can fish right off the dock. The neighborhood was the best. It feels very safe. There is a beach, pool, basketball court, tennis court only a short walk/bike ride away. There is also a different park about two blocks away with a basketball court. You can have an awesome entertaining and inexpensive vacation without traveling more than 2 miles at this home. My whole family was sad to leave. Only suggestion I have is to buy softer pillows:) Thanks Phil!

Convenient, Clean and Relaxing

The home has updated bath and kitchen along with a relaxing new pool. This is in a quiet relaxing neighborhood. Not a tourist trap. It was a good jumping off point for our trips to the Everglades, Boca Grand, Punta Gorda, Lemon Bay, etc. Many nice city parks close to the property. If you plan to drive to see multiple sites, then this is a great property. If you want a destination stay where everything is within a few miles, this is not the one... unless you are coming to fish in Port Charlotte. We did some fishing from the back yard in the canal system that goes out to the Port. Fun to have access to a private dock. Didn't catch anything though;)
