L’ESCOLE :
At l’ESCOLE, you can experience absolute tranquillity in a heaven on earth. Ideally situated only 3 km from the medieval perched village of Séguret which is one of the most beautiful villages in France. L’ESCOLE is just 3 km from Vaison la Romaine which is not only a medieval town but also a well-known Gallo Roman site. In the heart of Provence surrounded by vineyards and pinewoods this is a perfect location for exceptional holidays. We offer you two charming 18th C. stone buildings.

SWIMMING POOL :
You can relax anytime by our terraced swimming-pool (long :10 m X 5 m. Deep :
1 m – 2,60 m) and enjoy magnificient panoramic views of rolling vines and hillside pineforests.

HOUSES :
Our two houses for 5 and 7 people are entirely renovated and refurbished in a traditional way. The interiors continue the provencal style with stone walls, exposed beams and antique furniture. Their charm, character and high standard of accomodation will enable you to enjoy a comfortable and delightful stay. Each house has a private terrace with BBQ and additional land where you’ll taste the wonderful climate of Provence.

THE REGION :
You will be surrounded by the magic of Provence : it’s wonderful landscapes, it’s perched villages, it’s Roman sites, it’s colourful markets, it’s unforgettable food and wines and it’s way of life. On the paths which lead from l’Escole to the Dentelles of Montmirail or the Mont Ventoux as you enjoy a wonderful journey through vineyards, olive groves, past truffle oaks, lavander and the scent of wild herbs you will be charmed by the magnificient of Provence.

Erholsamer Urlaub in tollem Haus in traumhafter Umgebung

Wir hatten einen wundervollen entspannten Urlaub in diesem stilvollen, sehr geräumigen und gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus. Besonders die große Terrasse und der tolle Pool mit Blick auf die Weinfelder hat uns super gefallen. Patrick ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber und bei Fragen und Anliegen stets zur Stelle. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Immer wieder großartig

Nachdem wir bereits 2014 und 2016 unseren Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Anwesen verbracht haben, waren wir auch 2018 dort. Mitten in wunderschöner Natur umgeben von Wäldern, Weinbergen, traumhaften Dörfern und grandiosen Aussichtpunkten liegen die Ferienhäuser auf einem riesigen Grundstück mit wunderschönem Pool. Die Wohnungen sind perfekt eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Zur Überbrückung der ersten Tage ist der Kühlschrank gefüllt. Vaison la Romaine ist ca. 3 km entfernt. Es bieten sich immer wieder neue Überraschungen und verträumte Ortschaften und Plätze, die es zu entdecken gibt. Ein tolles Radrevier mit Mont Ventoux und tramhaften Seitentälern, Wein, Kultur, Provence pur. Patrick ist ein aufmerksamen aber unauffälliger Gastgeber, hilfsbereit und sofort it Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir haben bereits wieder für 2019 gebucht und mehrfach, ebenfalls begeisterten Freunden empfohlen.

Nice location uncomfortable feeling when we left

The place was nice though the picture is of the owners house, who lives on the premises and is around alot. Les Lavandes comfortably accomodates 5 although advertised for 7 the sofa bed is in a corridor. The owner tried to hang on to our deposit. 2 sun loungers were cracked which we agreed. He said 120 Euro to replace the sun loungers, I have yet to receive a reciept as agreed with the owner, and the rest for a sofa bed which was bent and twisted when we arrived.we could not go to bed, as we waited for him to come back from a night out and rectify. A very disappointing end to what had been a nice holiday. I just felt the owner was trying to get more money out of us and being greedy. He then said it was as we had 7 people to stay on 2 nights - it’s advertised for 7 people and we booked & paid for 7, although we only had 7 people there for 2 nights. Be warned. The sun beds really should have been better quality and put down to fair wear and tear. We will not be returning and I would not recommend. I felt very uncomfortable, and the owner tried to be greedy as I was a women travelling alone with my sons. Not a good way to do business, you should be completely straightforward and reasonable. The boys helped put the new sofa bed in and the old one out, free labour. Also the kitchen is poorly equipped for 7 people. Not enough cutlery or glasses. No glass jugs for water at the table and a lack of bowls. The bin is tiny for 7 people to use. A baby girl from the other house was constantly wailing and the owner is in and out all day and night, in his car which he parks right next to Les Lavandes. Which we quietly tolerated, then got a nasty surprise when we left. Vaison is lovely, we shall return but will look for somewhere where the warm welcome is genuine and not money grabbing. He suggested he was keeping the money "as I may find another problem when you leave" - not sure what that mean’t very odd. Stood my ground refused to pay for his old bent old sofa and paid 110 Euro for his sun loungers, he also accused one of the guests of being fat! Nightmare last few minutes and totally unecessary. the picture of the lovely big front of the house is quite deceptive, as this is where the owner lives.

Heerlijk!!

Wij zaten in het linkerdeel van het pand, en we vonden het er erg fijn. Het terras grenst aan een heerlijk groot grasveld met uitzicht over de vallei. Het zwembad is fantastisch. Binnen in het huis is het schoon en goed verzorgd. Het enige dat een beetje jammer is, is dat er niet echt een woonkamer is, maar een gang met een bank en tv. In de zomer is dat geen enkele probleem, want dan is buiten je 'woonkamer'. De eigenaar was zeer behulpzaam en plezierig. kortom, wij komen graag een keertje terug.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Wir haben im Haus von Patrick zwei tolle Wochen verbracht. Es ist ein Kleinod, wie man es nur sehr selten findet. Einmalige Lage, Ruhe, ein schöner Pool und eine vollständige, funktionale aber geschmackvolle Einrichtung. In jedem Fall zu empfehlen.

wunderschön in den Weinbergen

Wir haben schon früh gebucht und uns lange auf dieses Ferienhaus gefreut. Es hat in jeder Hinsicht unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, schlicht und freundlich und natürlich der Pool in Traumlage mit wunderbarem Blick in die Weinberge. Schnell erreichbar ist Vaison mit Geschäften und Restaurants und die Umgebung bietet vielseitige Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Besonders gut haben uns Wanderungen in den Dentelles und der Freitagsmarkt in Carpentras gefallen. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vielen Dank Patrick! Auch unsere Jungs waren begeistert. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Ein kleines Paradies

Wir verbrachten eine traumhafte Woche in Les Lavandes. Die Wohnung ließ nichts vermissen und war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage ist traumhaft, abgeschieden und ruhig, umgeben von Hügeln und Weinbergen, trotzdem erreicht man schnell Orte wie Seguret oder Vaison la Romain. Der Pool ist großzügig angelegt, war jederzeit für uns zu nutzen und war sehr sauber. Die Ausblicke fantastisch. Der Vermieter war sehr nett, zurückhaltend und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem eine traumhafte, sehr erholsame Urlaubswoche an einem wunderschönen Fleckchen Erde in der Provence.
