This recently remodeled open-plan living area is spacious in size and flooded with natural daylight that bounces off the beautiful cherry hardwood floor emitting radiant heat during the winter. This brick historic 1600sqft apartment in West End's was completely redone from the inside out with generous accommodations to sleep 8 guests comfortably and offers two unique boutique bathrooms. This space is ideal for anyone seeking plush luxury from a Victorian mansion and unwilling to compromise on space or location.

The space
Less than six minutes drive away from the airport and less than 8 minutes walk to everything downtown, this remodeled Victorian mansion offers all the right mix of aristocratic experience, commodious living, modernity and convenient logistics. KITCHEN & DINING Modern in style, the kitchen is fully-equipped and includes: a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a dishwasher and an oven. The adjacent dining area is furnished with a wooden dining table that can seat up to 4 guests. The stone countertops boasts of an island that can sit 3 people comfortably. BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS The master bedroom is furnished with a modern queen-size bed, a dresser and a wardrobe. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, a dresser and a wardrobe. The third bedroom is furnished with two full-size bed and a dresser. The unit's first bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, a toilet and a sink. The second bathroom is fitted with a bathtub, an over-bath shower, a toilet and a sink. Bathroom essentials are provided including towels and toiletries. Neighborhood overview
Located in the heart of the West End, One of the quietest places on the peninsula, this neighborhood can feel like another world. The tree-lined streets are populated by brownstones and Victorian mansions, making them a haven for architecture buffs. Nestled among the historical beauty are quaint inns and bed-and-breakfasts. The neighborhood is home to highly rated restaurants, including the much-touted Tandem Coffee Roasters, and offers a view of the White Mountains from the Western Promenade.

Our overall stay was very nice. The place was clean and nicely updated with plenty of space. The location was conveniently located for enjoying Portland. We did have an issue with one of the bathrooms however our host was quick to respond. We would have liked more kitchen ware especially coffee mugs. We certainly would consider this place again during a return visit.

Fabulous 3BR / 2 bath apartment in an excellent location of town … Tons of great restaurants, coffee shops and cool stores nearby within walking distance - Bramhall Pub (speakeasy vibe) next door and Tandem Bakery across the street were highlights! Kingsley was easy to communicate with and very proactive with any questions we had - he also gave us some good tips and recommendations about places to visit in Portland. This is the place to stay!

This was a perfect location for our group and was close enough to town but not loud or rowdy. Check in and out were straightforward, and the host was responsive. There were no issues with our stay, and many basics/necessities were provided.

The location is excellent and the home has historic charm with plenty of space for a group. However, the stay didn’t quite live up to the 9.8-star rating. The kitchen was understocked, some linens were very worn, and basic supplies like soap and garbage bags were lacking. Noise from outside and the unit above was also an issue. Overall, it was fine—but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Frustrated with not being able to speak with someone with questions. No elevator. Left over food and drink in fridge. No Keurig. Coffee cups not good for drinking hot coffee. No charm , no pictures on walls, would not know I was a couple blocks from the ocean.

This is a wonderful apartment in a beautiful historic building that has retained all the charm of the original building while being divided into private spaces. It is so conveniently located near downtown Portland while being close to many local spots to eat, have coffee or just walk and explore. The host is very available to answer questions but we had no issues with anything while staying here. Our only regret here was that we only had 2 days to spend in Portland! We could have relaxed in this beautiful apartment for an extended vacation. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! Thanks so much for providing such a wonderful getaway spot!

Kingsley is a great host and good communicator. He was available for questions and very responsive. The unit was very comfortable and had everything we needed to prepare meals, sleep comfortably and have a wonderful stay. The location provides to easy access to everything Portland has to offer. Our family would stay here again!

Perfect New England Getaway!

The space and natural light of this huge 2nd floor apartment in a historic mansion were incredible! With 4 beds,3 bedrooms, and 2 nice bathrooms, our family had plenty of room to relax. City noises and sirens were present, but not in excess.The apartment is in walking distance to so many great sights and coffee shops and restaurants (including the delicious Roma Cafe next door!). Kingsley was a very thoughtful and responsive host. We hope to return again someday to what may be our favorite vacation destination!

Portland Maine is amazing.The home was very comfortable and great location to explore.Quiet neighborhood too.We all enjoyed the den with a nice size flat screen.Rooms very comfy, would highly recommend it.I will be back!!

Convenient location

We enjoyed our stay. Several cute Cafes close by, comfortable beds and space. Close to everything. Only issue was the unit above one night partied to early morning keeping us up all night. Out of control of the host.

Perfect location for walking.

The apartment is lovely. All six of us thought the beds were comfortable, and that’s saying something. The kitchen could use actual coffee cups and glasses, and was lacking paper towels and sugar for coffee but other than that it was great. The best part though is the location! Great restaurants and within 20 minutes to the pier! We ate breakfast at Hot Suppa every morning! OMG delicious and the staff is FANTASTIC! Also, MUST get the biscuit from Tandem Bakery and Coffee Cafe across the street! That’s a DONT MISS!
