The unit we rented was a nice 3 bedroom/2 bath. The baths have been updated. The primary bedroom furniture was nice and the mattress comfortable. I was told the other mattresses were also comfortable. The kitchen was small, but okay. The dishwasher and microwave were updated. The fridge was adequate in size but lacked filtered water or ice. The washer dryer needed updating as the dryer does not dry well. The parking was not adequate. There is one reserved space and one non-reserved space. We were a couple hosting our adult children and needed more space and there is none for renters at Sea Colony.The internet was slow and the router and Xfinity box are outdated with glitching because of the lack of updated equipment.The way you receive physical keys in the mail and then mail them back which is not very secure had bugged us from the get go but when we discovered this two weeks in advance of our booking and had family already planned to visit, it was too late to do anything about it. I used to own at Sea colony up til 4 years ago and had a digital lock for which I could create unique codes remotely so that at the end of a renters week the code expired. I spoke/ texted with the owner a few times and was left with the impression that there was no local management to address any issues that came up.Additionally, an item that is not specific to this unit but you should be aware of in case you play pickleball. The open play pickleball is nearly inaccessible to renters.

Great vacation!

We truly enjoyed our stay…the condo, the location, the ocean and the view. Very happy with everything! Steve, our host was a great communicator and was very organized. Spent a week and didn’t want to leave. We’d definitely stay here again!

A Sure Winner

Great location, very clean and well furnished. We have been coming to Sea Colony for several years and this was the cleanest condo we have ever stayed in. It was a plus to have the washer/dryer in the kitchen rather than the master bedroom so that everyone could use it without interrupting those in the master bedroom.The only negative (which has nothing to do with the property owner) is that someone was smoking on their balcony which made it very unpleasant for us to enough the terrific view from our balcony.

This condo is just as it is described. The building itself is in a perfect spot at the sea colony resort. The condo is also in a great location at the end of the walkway so there is not a lot of traffic and noise outside the entrance, it is also very close to the exit stairway and the trash bin is only a few steps away.Upon arrival, the condo was cool and very clean! We had fabulous views of the beach and pool. All of us agreed that the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen felt a little small, but we didn’t prepare a whole lot of meals while we were there, it did have plenty of the necessary kitchen, utensils, and dishes.Our host Steven was very helpful and answering tons of questions for us in a timely manner.Overall, we would definitely come back to the same condo if we ever return to Bethany Beach.

This was a lovely property that allowed us to relax and enjoy the week at the beach. Beds were super comfortable (an issue we’ve had with other units in the past), decor was tastefully done and very nice, and location was fantastic. We would definitely consider this unit again next year!

I've been staying on and off at Sea Colony for the last 10 years or so. This was one of the best condos I've been in. Everything was incredibly clean. The third bedroom was spacious and was exactly like a bedroom (you'd be surprised at how bad some of those third rooms can be). It was nice having the primary suite pretty separate from the other rooms as well. The beds were all comfortable, the bathrooms were fantastic, and the kitchen had everything you could ever want. We picked up a seafood boil from Topsail for our first night (where you bring a bucket home and steam it yourself), and they even had adorable containers for melted butter and crackers and pickers for the crabs. The little things that you don't really think about until it's a huge inconvenience are all perfect here - even the parking spot was great, a center spot close to the entrance that was easy to find. Definitely a 10/10 would recommend!

Perfect Beach Condo

We have been staying at Sea Colony for many years and this was a fantastic experience. The setup is perfect for a young family and the place was clean and not overly decorated with unnecessary stuff. We also appreciated having the kids pool right downstairs. Five stars! Would stay again.

A much needed vacation!

Great family vacation! We have been coming to Sea Colony for over 40 years. This condo was perfect for us and our adult children and their spouses. Hope to rent this unit again..
