This Chalet in the woods features 3 bedrooms. The living room has a fireplace, TV, couch, love seat and recliner. The kitchen features a large island and table. Two full bathrooms one on each floor and full size washer/dryer. Expansive deck and firepit. 25min to Caberfae, 30min to Crystal Mountain. Ride directly to snowmobile trails. Space for trailers. Close to Skiing, Mtn Biking, Road Cycling to Traverse (Mission P.), Hiking, Snowmobiling, Canoeing/Kayaking and ATV/UTV.

*This is a pet friendly stay. The first pet is 45 dollars for your entire stay. Each additional pet is 45 dollars for the entire stay.

Property was beautiful and clean. However, the steps to the property were a bit uneven and could pose a falling danger, especially if navigated at night. Host was prompt with very good directions to the chalet and check-in. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The home was clean and inviting...we enjoyed our time at this house, it is our second year staying here. We will try to come back in the future. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be away from it all but still close enough to town for shopping and eating.

Over all stay ok.

Needs some updates. Could use either a softer mattress pad or new mattresses. Small and to hard. Couches need replaced pretty worn out. Cabin was very clean and nice. Lots of kitchen amenities which was nice for cooking. Had soft towels and everything for bathrooms. All remote batteries were dead.

Great challet

Very clean challet, perfect size for our family of four and dog! We enjoyed the location - only about 15 mins from Cadillac and 25 mins from Caberfae. There were also plenty of games to keep the children entertained. The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need. If you are renting the challet after the snow melts or heavy rain, I would recommend a 4WD or a vehicle that sits up higher to get up the driveway. There are some ruts that are getting deeper and a lower sitting vehicle could get stuck in the mud.

This property was exactly as described. More than adequately equipped, decorated warmly and felt likehome the moment we entered. Excellent location forour family to enjoy the nearby Carberfae ski slopes.Excellent trip!

The property was amazing! The accommodations such as pet supplies and the kitchen being somewhat stocked. Very quiet and peaceful getaway spot. Everything was exceptional and couldn’t ask for a better experience!

Jim saved my dads birthday/family’s Christmas ski trip

ReviewThis place was amazing, and the host, Jim, was the best host I’ve ever had. My family and I were planning to celebrate my dad’s birthday and Christmas with a ski trip to Cadillac. We were about to cancel the trip when the weather forecast changed to 40 degrees and rainy. Jim was super helpful and quickly helped us work out a solution, changing the date and check-in time to work around the nasty weather. The house was incredibly comfortable and clean. 10/10 would recommend!

Definitely one of the best place that I’ve ever rented

My family enjoyed such a wonderful time. The chalet was absolutely exactly what the picture showed. The homeowner was awesome to deal with answered all the questions and I do highly recommend the chalet to anyone. It is absolutely beautiful. Definitelywould stay again..
