Walking distance to beaches and downtown

The “Retro Retreat” is a cozy three bedroom mobile home located one block from Woodland Park Campground and the shores of Lake Superior. Downtown restaurants, shops, sandy west bay beach and playground are 4 blocks away. Very large yard with fire pit(wood available to purchase from many locations), charcoal grill(you provide charcoal), patio table and chairs are there for your use. Plenty of parking for your toys. We are local to assist with any questions. Enjoy your stay!!

it was very clean and we felt comfortable there. Everything was stocked with things we might need. The door code issue I had when we arrived was taken care of immediately. Enjoyed our stay.

The location is great as it is just a few blocks to the beach and downtown. The property is in very good shape and well maintained. The amenities were great. As Walt said' We've got everything you might need." This was very true! This would be a great vacation spot for families with all ages of children or a couple. Jasper our dog enjoyed his stay too. They deserve a 5 star rating!

Roomy, clean, bed was extremely comfortable! I know it doesn’t look like much from the front yard, but the inside was charming and met my needs very well. Very close to everywhere I needed to go.

Definitely the place to stay

It was everything as described and more. The texting, arrival, accommodations, comfort were all very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this location, especially if you are traveling with your fur baby. The kitchen was better stocked than my own with accessories and appliances. The a/c worked well, the noise was extremely minimal on the street corner. Thank you Walk and Christine for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I've stayed here before and once again it was clean and well stocked. You just have to bring your clothes and everything else is provided. It is within walking distance of agate beach. It is a clean and comfortable environment.

Super awesome retro place

Very nice clean and perfectly located in grand Marais mi for rock hunting. Great hosts with lots of extras in the house. Had anything we may have forgotten.

Nice clean place

We had a very relaxing time in Grand Marais. I was traveling with my husband, sister and 2 dogs. The mobile home was just as described. Check in was easy. We were even able to check in a little early. Our host was very quick to respond to questions. The mobile home was clean and well stocked. It had a nice size yard for our dogs and was conveniently located. I would definitely stay there again!
