You’ll love our newly-renovated condo abutting White River National Forest! Our family recently bought and renovated this condo to getaway and have immediate access to the mountains. We live in the Denver area and love staying here when we are not renting it out!

Condo: Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Buffalo Ridge condo will be your family or friends’ launchpad to endless mountain adventures and experiences! Up to 6 guests can enjoy local skiing, hiking, water sports, sightseeing, dining, and shopping.

Bedroom 1 (Master): Queen bed with trundle, closet
Bathroom 1 (Master/en-suite): Sink, toilet, shower, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion on hand
Bedroom 2: Queen log bunks, closet
Bathroom 2: Sink, toilet, combined shower/bathtub
Living room: Couch with queen pullout bed, loveseat
Dining room: Seats 6+
Kitchen: With breakfast counter which seats 3, coffee, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, paper towels, pots, pans and all utensils on hand
Patio: Seating overlook abutting White River National Forest

Location: Located in the Buffalo Village community. You'll be 10-30 minutes away from numerous renowned ski resorts, 10 minutes from water sports, cross country skiing on the Dillon Reservoir. The White River National Forest is steps outside your door for hiking, mountain biking, back country skiing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing! Our condo is also within 10 minutes of Silverthorne and Dillon dining and shopping, and only 15 minutes away from the picturesque mountain town of Frisco! The Buffalo Ridge bus stop on the Wildernest Bus Loop, Summit Stage is 100 yds out of the parking lot.

Proximity to ski resorts: 15 minutes to Keystone, A-Basin (Arapahoe), Copper, and Loveland ski areas. 25 minutes to Breckenridge and 30 minutes to Vail. 10 minutes to both Keystone and Frisco Nordic Centers (cross-country skiing and snowshoeing).

Amenities: Return from your adventures and enjoy our newly-renovated condo with unhindered mountain views. This building abuts White River National Forest, surrounding Buffalo Mountain, and offers spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the condo’s patio. Additional amenities include a full amenity kitchen, boot dryer, free high-speed Wi-Fi, flat screen smart TV with DVD player (and access to your streaming services), free parking (reserved carport spot and 1 open lot spot), in building coin op washers and dryers, clubhouse includes game room and fitness center, pool, sauna, and hot tubs are all newly renovated!

Please be advised that access to community amenities is controlled by the condo association and is subject to change based on HOA maintenance schedules and funding.

Great space for weekend ski trip. Convenient to keystone. Plenty of linen/towels. Only downside, lack of headboard in master bedroom. With baseboard heat, the bed wasn't up to the wall and pillows would fall back during the night.

Michelle, Thank you for your honest review. We have a long pillow available in that bedroom that can be used as a headboard against the wall. However, you are the second person to mention that so we will add a headboard next weekend when we go to the unit. So if you come back, your headboard will be waiting for you! The owner was very easy to communicate with when checking in and making sure we had everything we needed or had any Qs. The unit's ski holders were fantastic to help my family store their skis. Great location for Keystone and several other mountains. Was a great unit for 6 of us to sleep comfortably. Highly recommend!

Perfect place

Condo was the perfect place to go on vacation with family and friends. Place was clean and has enough rooms for everybody. Kasey is the most accomodating host we have ever experienced. Will definitely go back!

Great property!

This condo is a fantastic place to stay! Kasey was an excellent host and was always quick to respond and take care of anything we needed. The condo is really spacious, has a great kitchen, and was perfect for a home base while skiing. I would highly recommend staying here!

Nice home to stay for a ski trip

The apartment is very spacious and vey clean. The owner is easy to reach and communicate. During our stay, the clubhouse is closed due to renovation, the owner is so generous to offer the refund if we use the Silverthorne Recreation Center. We really enjoyed staying here!

Great stay, great location

This property fit all of our needs perfectly! We came to ski for Spring Break, so the condo was great to come back to after a long day! Kitchen was stocked with all needs, bathroom necessities provided, the wood burning fireplace was used nightly, and the view was the best part of all! Thank you for sharing your place with us, we will be back ❤️

Cybil, It was quite unfortunate that a pipe burst in the clubhouse you were hoping to use, directly next to our unit, the day before your stay. I notified you as soon as I was informed of the issue and let you know about the other two clubhouses that were available within 5 minute's walk from the unit. I am also very sorry you thought the beds were small and had no headboards. We cannot comfortably fit kings in our modest ski condo. We do however boast a queen-over-queen log bunk in one room and a queen bed with twin trundle in the other bedroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa. I also appreciated your feedback about food being in the fridge. We ask our cleaning service to leave condiments in the fridge such as ketchup and salad dressings for our guest's convenience. We also have spices, coffee, and creamer on hand. You also let me know, after your stay, that there was an issue with the toilet. We immediately had a plumber out to our unit and they found no issue. Because you were so upset about the closest clubhouse being closed (2 were still open), I refunded $100. I am sorry you were disappointed.

Ski trip

Hosts were very responsive when we had some trouble operating the television and even offered to drive up and address the problem but we were able to figure it out. The condo has a beautiful view and was very comfortable.

Excellent Homebase for Ski Weekend

This was a solid property for our family's ski weekend. It's a convenient eight minute drive to all downtown Silverton has to offer and easy to jump on I-70 for access to numerous resorts within fifteen minutes. The layout is comfortable and convenient, the views were awesome, and the kitchen was clean and well-stocked, allowing us to prepare meals for our little kids while sipping apres cocktails and/or morning coffees. Covered parking immediately adjacent to the unit was a real bonus. Pre-arrival communication was excellent, getting access to the unit was simple, and instructions for everything from internet, media entertainment, and checkout were clear and easy to follow. Overall a positive, stress-free experience and a unit we would definitely book again.

Nice clean ski condo

Worked well for a family of six for a ski trip. Place was very clean. Well stocked kitchen for us to cook our own meals. The glove and boot dyer was a nice bonus. Our minivan with a car top cargo carrier didn't fit in the covered parking but there was plenty of adjacent parking. We had a question at one point about something and the host got back to us quickly. Would use again.

The area in Silverthorne was nice as a base for our trip. The kitchen facilities were great and well stocked in terms of being able to prepare food for our family on the trip. Kids really enjoyed the games in the condo as well. Kasey was very responsive so that was really helpful. On the downside, we had to turn on the fan in the larger bedroom after the first night to drown the sound because the boiler next to the unit was making a dripping sound. We reached out to Kasey about this and apparently this was something the HOA of this older condo facility was aware of but couldn’t resolve yet. Also we couldn’t control the temperature in the unit and it was stuffy/warm in there most of the time. The smoke detector battery also likely needs to be replaced because it was making a chirping sound the last night. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Making some improvements to help with temperature and sounds at night would have made this an even better experience.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. The boiler is being replaced in the spring and you can hear the water flow in the pipes sometimes at night. It's an older unit and older buildings are not as quiet as Vail resort hotels perhaps. There is a thermostat in the unit in the hallway and you can control the temperature there. We just changed the smoke alarm batteries in November as we do yearly but I appreciate you bringing this to my attention and we will resolve this issue today!! I'm glad that overall the experience was good!!

Quick 3 night getaway

From beginning to the end of our 3 night stay everything the condo had to offer was perfect. Pulling into the covered carport right next to the stairs couldn’t be any better. 1 flight up easy. Open the combination lock super smart so no need to figure out who’s got the keys. Open up the door to a nice, open floor plan with living room, kitchen and dining room area was well designed and really comfortable to hang. We didn’t realize until the following morning the awesome, unobstructed view of the distant mountains. Really cool. 2 bedrooms were big enough for 4 of us. The queen bed had its own bathroom which was nice, and the double queen bunk was good for my daughter and niece to share. My brother slept on the couch which he never bothered to open up. The other full bath I can’t comment on because I never went into it but others said it was good. The place was clean and neat and had everything we needed, and then some. We didn’t cook but the kitchen seemed very well equipped. A Basin was about a 20 minute ride which was nothing. We went through town so egg sandwiches at Enzas on the way out and burritos and burgers to bring home on the way back in. Overall a great stay. The only downside was the 5 star rating which might cause a hard time to get next year, or maybe worse an increase in rent…

Our family of four had everything we needed in this clean & pleasant space for our ski vacation.

Owner was extremely pleasant and responsive during all phases of the booking and check-in processes. Our family had plenty of room four lounging, cooking, and sleeping, and there’s easy access to restaurants, shops, and mountains for skiing. The roads to the space are well maintained and the covered parking space was a great. We hope to return!

Classic Colorado Condo!

The condo was perfect for the 3 of us for the week. We skied for a couple days and also hiked at the top of the road on the Lily Pond trail and also on the South Willow Falls trail just a couple miles from the condo. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our dinners and the views were great! We would certainly recommend this condo and would stay here again in a minute!

Close to Summit County Ski Resorts

Great location for all summit county resorts. Community hot tubs onsite were HOT and great after a long ski day. The unit itself had plenty of space for 5-6 adults with a kitchen stocked with basic necessities. Plenty of towels including extras for the hot tub. We didn't hear anyone else in the complex during our stay, but it was a fairly slow weekend for ski traffic due to I-70 closures.

We moved to Colorado in 2020 after Adam retired from the Navy. We currently live and work in the Denver area. We are a skiing family and were thrilled to purchase our condo in 2021. It required some renovations which were completed that year. We enjoy the condo regularly and ski at the nearby mountains on our Epic pass. Since we stay there regularly, we are able to keep up with maintenance and the little details that matter.
