Tucked away on a ridgetop at 4200 ft, this cabin offers an escape into nature just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our home is situated right between Maggie Valley and Cherokee, close to many hikes and attractions. Enjoy a private setting on a quiet road with incredible views. This cabin offers all the comforts of home including a fully stocked kitchen, a gas fireplace, as well as a spacious deck with a grill.

• 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a cozy living room, full kitchen, washer and dryer, spacious deck for taking in the beautiful panoramic views.
• Kitchen: Fully equipped, Keruig & drip coffee maker, breakfast bar, stainless steel appliances, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, crock pot, blender
• Indoor Living: Gas fireplace, TV with ROKU for Streaming, Washer & Dryer, WiFi, Puzzles, Books, Central Heating/AC
• Outdoor Living: Large deck with breathtaking mountain views, gas grill, wood burning fire pit, outdoor dining table and seating

• Please note: Driveway is steep but paved for good traction. Property is located on a well maintained gravel road and some parts are steep. I will be sending detailed directions on the easiest route to get there.

Quaint and peaceful

Cabin very clean, peaceful and great views! Everything we needed was there. We felt like it was a centralized location to everything we wanted. We had fair warning about the driveway being very steep but we made it fine and glad to have the warning.

NC Mountains Fall 2024

Gorgeous view from the deck of this well appointed, comfortable, clean cabin. The hostess was only a text away the whole time we were there. The bed in the master bedroom was sooo comfortable. The only negative for me was 12 steps down to the front door. There are rails and strips to prevent slipping though. But just be prepared for those steps.

Vacation with million dollar view

Cabin was very nicely decorated and had everything needed to make stay wonderful. View was fantastic, beds super comfortable and very well cleaned. Michele was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive.

Cozy cabin

Beautiful cabin! Communication with Michelle was great! So glad we took our car instead of our truck, we never would have been able to turn it around to be able to drive up the drive to leave the cabin. Loved our stay here!

Great cabin

Very nice, well appointed cabin with great view. The elevation provided cool much appreciated temp in June compared to our home in Florida. 17 degree slope of drive and required 5 pt turn around at bottom was a little problematic but doable. Appreciated being able to bring my 2 beagles. Close to blue ridge pkwy and smokies np. Would come again!

Mountain December Holiday

We traveled to NC from Florida for our December Holiday. After looking at a number of potential places to stay we came across the Cranberry Falls listing. Our goal was to find a place that was reasonably close to stores, Asheville and still had the seclusion of the mountains plus pet friendly as we were bringing along our dog. This cabin hit all of those requirements and then some. After reading the reviews we absolutely felt this was the best place for us. Everything that we read regarding the ambiance, charm, cleanliness, and location was spot on. The only thing that took us a little while to navigate was getting all of our streaming channels working as there is no cable as mentioned in the listing. To be fair, most of the issues were due to user error and once we figured it out everything went extremely well. Michelle was absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating regarding any questions we had during our stay. As we traveled in December, we were a little concerned about what we read regarding the driveway and the steepness of it. At first look it is a little daunting but after we pulled in and out a couple of times it was actually fairly easy to turnaround and back into the carport despite driving a full-size Chevy Tahoe. The cabin itself is exactly as the photos show and the view was magnificent of the surrounding mountains. There isn't anything lacking from an amenity standpoint, and we will definitely be returning again in the near future. We cannot recommend this cabin enough and really appreciate how attentive Michelle was to any of our questions or requests. You won't be disappointed!

Lovely rental

Everything was very nice, impressive decor. Only drawback was the steep driveway, but the view and cabin made up for that! Michelle was a sweetheart to deal with. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view.

This was our 5th stay at the cabin... As always everything is as listed... very comfortable bed, nice linens, as well plenty of towels for 2 people, washer and dry work well and are quite, dish washer is quite as well... We did have a bit of a unforeseen hiccup, and Michelle handled it quickly and is a great with communication. We are already looking to return later this year... Thanks Michelle for being such a great host...

Amazing cabin!!

The cabin is so beautiful & comfortable & had everything we needed for an awesome week in the mountains! Such a peaceful & relaxing place. The place was spotless & so inviting when we arrived. It is very easy to find following Michelle's directions, and you most likely will see some wild turkeys & elk on your way. It's a beautiful & easy drive to town as well. We would definitely love to return one day!!

The cabin was very nice. The pictures don't do it justice. It was equipped with everything you would need for a long stay. Comfortable bed and furniture. Great view of the mountains behind the cabin and the cabin was very clean and refreshing. Michelle's communication was great. As stated in the description the driveway is tight and tricky to turn around in, I ended up backing in which was easier than trying to turn around for me driving a fullsize truck. And the internet is satellite internet and is very spotty. Overall this is one of the best cabins/home we have stayed in a would definitely stay there again if we go back to that area.

Perhaps not for the faint of heart

The cabin was lovely, well equipped, and had a lovely view. The road up to the cabin from the main road is not paved and pretty steep and winding, especially for flatlanders like us. The driveway was paved, but had a very steep angle, and turning around to get out again was perhaps a little tricky. Also be aware that there are fourteen steps down to get to the cabin level. We felt that there was very little place to store non-refrigerated food. We covered most of the available counter space with food that we brought. The are plenty of cupboards, but they are filled with dishes and glassware, pots and pans, and appliances - everything you could possibly want. I don't want to sound too critical, because we did enjoy our stay, and the scenery around it is lovely, and there is plenty to do not too far away. We were also grateful that we could bring our aging. pet

Super clean cabin / remote location

This cabin was like new - very clean throughout. Very tastefully appointed. All appliances, AC, etc. worked flawlessly. Wi-fi available / streaming service for TV. No dish or network tv avail. Didn’t bother us but might others. Smaller turn around area at bottom of driveway. Was able to turn around a full size 4WD pickup but very tight and takes several maneuvers to do so. If you like being away from it all…this place rocks.

Relaxing vaca... Just what we needed...

This is our 2nd time staying at this property, and everything was just as wonderful as we remembered it! Michelle was very quick to respond to any questions before and during our stay. The Cabin itself is a little slice of heaven. The wonderful views are just amazing. Everything was very clean, and spotless. The Kitchen is very well stocked, everything you need, 2 coffee makers, and I loved that there was a crock pot, toaster and toaster oven. The washer and dryer worked very well, and fairly quite. The master bed, is soft and comfortable, Bed linen's, as well as bath towels are all of good quality, and are full size, there are plenty of them. Plenty of hangers in both closets which is such a added plus, along with a iron and iron board. This did the trick and gave us what we were looking for in this vacation.. We will be back for sure...
