Host was very responsive. It was a perfect place for our family vacation. The beach was a little further than indicated but everything else was great! Would definitely stay here again.

This property is really nice - walkable to downtown East Tawas and the beach. The house was clean with all amenities with lots of comfortable living area to relax. The third bedroom is a converted attic and was very hot on our first day (to the point where we could not use it for sleeping). Also, the staircase is narrow and steep, so not a good fit for young children. The other two bedrooms, though, were comfortable, with one being large enough for a king bed and lots of space to spare.

Birding Weekend in Tawas

Don't let the outside of this plain frame house mislead you. It's a house typical of the neighborhood but inside there are a lot of great upgrades and it's nicely appointed and very clean.We came to Tawas for a getaway in late March after cancelling a out of state trip. The living room, bedrooms and kitchen are extremely comfortable and there are new appliances and lighting. It's an easy two block walk from the downtown. The property is also pet-friendly and has a fenced-in yard. But pet owners - pick up after your dogs, will you? Otherwise the rest of us do it.Communication with the owner was very easy. I don't know what the summer is like or the beach access but for off-season it is a super quiet, peaceful getaway.

Our first trip in nearly 2 years and it was great. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the shops, restaurants, and the lake. Furniture and beds were comfortable and the yard was fenced in for our two dogs. We would gladly stay again in the future.

Quiet Weekend in East Tawas

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood and just two blocks from the main downtown area, this cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were quick to respond to messages prior to our arrival. No issues. Definitely would stay here again!

Spring Stay

Perfect combination of vintage and modern decor in this spacious, light bungalow in a quiet neighborhood close to the cute shopping district and lakeshore. We enjoyed easy access to the bike trail to the state park and Alabaster as well as the lightly travelled streets for exploring the town. We had everything we needed and more, including a bouquet of fresh flowers and a basket of yummy snacks.

Great place to stay

My 2 girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights. Super cute and clean house. Plenty of space for three of us. Love the screened in porch in the front. Perfect location to downtown and Lake Huron. Would definitely stay here again with my family or friends

Felt like home

We loved our stay here this summer. The house was very clean and cozy. My kids said it felt like home. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the screened in porch and backyard. Best part was the location, we could easily walk to the beach and downtown East Tawas!

Loved our second stay at this house

This home is so spacious and perfect for our annual family reunion. Everything is up to date and the house is well stocked. This time, we noticed the brand new large fridge/freezer which was a great addition.

Adorable spot to relax! Clean and comfortable. Lots of room to unwind. Loved the backyard bonfire pit with wood provided. Easy stroll to downtown restuarants and beach. Loved it. I will be booking again.
