The condo was beautiful, updated, clean, and very cozy. The bed in the master was great! We loved the canal in the back, we saw several manatees. It is pretty good walk to get to the beach access, but it’s a straight, flat walk so it’s not too bad.

Wonderful experience!

Will definitely stay there again. Saw manatees in canal outside the back door several times. Place was clean. Excellent communication with the host.

Short trip to Sanibel

Stayed at Lighthouse Villa for 3 nights. Loved Sanibel and enjoyed the beaches. Lighthouse villa is very conveniently located in walking distance to the beach. Great location with kids.

Lighthouse Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was excellent. Great location and very nice townhouse. We live in southeast Florida and try to go to Sanibel at least once a year. It’s a perfect getaway for us. Hopefully we will be able to reserve the lighthouse for future trips.

We like it so much it’s our go-to on Sanibel

Close to the ocean and on a quiet dead-end street. It sits on the canal where you can watch manatees. We brought our own coffee pot as it has a Keurig and we drink lots of coffee.

Sanibel after Hurricane

The apartment is spacious and was clean! Proximity to the beach is great! Still some cleanup on the island, but you could go on vacation. The two beds were very good, the sofa bed was not good and worn out. This should be renewed. All in all, I can recommend the accommodation.

Perfect choice

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely be back. While amazed at the recovery efforts on Sanibel and Captiva Islands, there is still ways to go. Did not influence the enjoyment of our stay in The Lighthouse at all, everything is new. We used the onsite bicycles and walks to the beach and shopped locally. Was pretty sad to pack up and leave, so much more we wanted to do.

Great location but needs maintenance

Nice unit close to the beach. Cleanand comfortable. Maintenance items are: Broken glass from rigth door sidelight, door to water heater whene front door opens shower need caulking Left half of upstairs blinds are not connected to r8ght half abd bath rug is a slip hazard

Great location and place to stay. Walking distance to beach. Very clean. Only complaints are no soap in 1/2 bath on first floor, poor water pressure upstairs shower, tub in full bath with some mildew/mold in seam (needs fresh caulk) & living room furniture fabric rough/scratchy. Had beach chairs (4), umbrella and styrofoam cooler for use—which was great! And outside hose for rinsing off sand was also very convenient.

Vacation

The stay was an excellent experience! Its a nice property located close to the beach. There is a canal in the backyard so we had the joy of seeing some manatees. Being that it is a dog friendly place it allowed us the joy of taking our dogs with on vacation. The place was nicely decorated and spacious. I'd recommend others bring a blanket if cold easily as there was only one extra in the rental. There were also no oven mitts when we stayed which was slightly inconvenient for couple times we used the oven. When we did need to reach out to the management company the person was helpful. I have already shared the good experience we had at this rental with others and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Vacation

The property looks exactly like the pictures and will accommodate at least 6 people. The beach is beautiful and only a five minute walk. There is everything that you need here in regards to the beach: umbrellas, chairs, coolers, wagons. There are also adult bikes, children's bikes, and even baby seat for the bike. All restaurants are about a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bike ride. The canal had manatees in it every day and that was very fun to see. The only complaint was that some parts of the property were slightly damaged such as the railing on the stairs and the blinds in the master bedroom fell down every time we tried to move them. Also, the owner was not super easy to get in touch with on VRBO and did not respond each time.

Nice place to stay

I booked this condo for a girls trip. They place was easy to get to and sits on the water in a channel. While we didn't see much wildlife in the channel it was still nice sitting out on the screened patio by the water. Our neighbors had an issue with their AC and thought we might have too - when looking the AC thermostat was on a temporary hold. Once we figured that out we fine. Management was very attentive to the situation and wanted to rectify the situation. There was a bit of confusion on what to do with trash, not realizing that there was a note on the garage by the door you would use to go in, indicating trash was in there. Nothing indicated that in any of my paperwork. I would also recommend that you bring your own hand soap as there was only one very small bar in the main bathroom and nothing in the half bath. But those things were certainly not deal breakers for us.

Was hoping for a nice island getaway

Arrived after dark, exterior lights to find the unit are non existent. Finally found location for keys and entered the unit. Extra money and extra cleaning due to covid LOL. Place had stuff all over the carpet, and water in the walls on the lanai. Both bedrooms have ertical hanging blinds that beat together all night if the ceiling fan is used. Master bedroom matress has huge lumbs in it.woudm rather sleep on the floor than that garbage. Tv only works for Netflix and Hulu says it has cable but nope. Wifi only works on the first floor. Couches are worn out and uncomfortable. Unit is listed as a 2 bath should be 1.5 baths. As the downstairs is just a toilet. Sharing the shower for 4 was unexpected. Bikes and beach chairs umbrellas were nice to have to use albeit the garage they are stored in stink of old garbage. Garage looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few years trash everywhere

Was not able to make it due to winter storm that covered most of the country with ice and snow. Tried to see if they would swap dates as this storm was all over the news, host was unwilling so we lost our money as we could not get there. Was looking forward to it as we had stayed here about 20 years ago. Was trip for our anniversary.
