Not perfect but very good
There is much positive about this location. Just not quite enough to call it perfect. But don’t let that dissuade you. If I could I’d give this an overall rating above 4.
Positives;
- first, communication with our manager (“concierge”) was great. She was attentive and responsive
- the neighborhood was actually a great location, just a couple blocks from the more touristy spots. And a couple of really good restaurants a block or so away. We felt more quiet and subdued but were moments away from hot spots or a down hill walk to the Douro and Nova de Gaia
- the large living room/sun room was great
- 3 bedrooms and two baths on a second floor with an elevator is hard to find!
- the main bathroom was recently redone with a great shower
Negatives;
- the second bathroom was really two separate units off of the living room. One a small toilet and sink, the other, a small sort of stall shower with a plastic curtain behind the door that would cling to you as you showered
- we had a lot of rain while we were in town. This resulted in the second bathroom shower drain beaching up some black crud
