Good location, but older apartment
Although the pictures made it look like a newer apartment, it was actually kind of old. When we walked in the door it was very dirty, especially the floor. It seemed like it hadn't been rented or lived in for a while. There were things that were broken, and the dishes and pans were kind of scattered throughout the cabinets. Many of the cooking pans were not in very good condition. Having never rented a VRBO, we were unaware that we should contact the owner if something needed to be fixed. After a couple of weeks, we became aware of this and when we contacted Virginia. She was very attentive to our problems and was very easy to work with. Thank you, Virginia! If something broke, she would have someone out there the next day to fix it. The maintenance people she used were very good! A couple of things that still need to be repaired are the blinds on the patio door and many of the screens had large cuts in them. I can tell you between my wife cleaning and organizing and the repairs that were done it will be in better shape than when we rented. Things you need to know if you are going to rent it. The apartment is on the 3rd floor. Don't expect it to be as new as it looks in the pictures. The TV is very nice but there is no cable or satellite. You can stream on the TV, but if you want the local channels, you'll need to get an over-the-air antenna. We bought one for $20 and it worked pretty well. The furnace/AC is located next to the bedroom and it's loud, so bring earplugs.
