Stylish 1bd/1Bth on Oceanfront Prop! W/D in Unit

Loved having you Susanne and Mahalo Nui Loa for taking the time to write us a review! Please come stay again!

The owners and I are thrilled to see you enjoyed your stay! Mahalo for taking good care of the space!

It is a wonderful spot, right at the beach with in a great little local neighborhood! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay! We know the building is vintage Hawaiian, but this unit is a recent remodel. The owners loved living here and still stay when they come. We work hard to make sure it stays a clean, comfortable and well kept.

The owners and I are happy to see you enjoyed your stay!

I'm thrilled to see you enjoyed your stay! One of my favorite things about this stretch of Maui shoreline is the turtles! Love to have you and your family again Martina!

I'm happy to see you enjoyed the location! It's a pretty lovely stretch of shoreline! I'm sorry though, to hear there was some mis-communication regarding having a pool at the property, or the proximity to Lahaina town. There is a pool at the adjacent property, but these are 2 separate properties. We don't advertise this property with a pool. In any case we would love to have you and your family back again!

Thrilled to see you enjoyed your stay! Mahalo Nui for taking very good care of my clients home! My husband and I loved living in this neighborhood as well! I am very sorry though you did not let me know you did not see any beach access. There is most assuredly beach access from the sister property, Maui Sands. There is information and a property map in the Guest Guide in the unit showing the beach access. We are careful not to advertise the unit with a washer and dryer. The Lahaina laundry is very clean and convenient.

Nothing is more disturbing to the owner and the property manager than having an unhappy guest. Especially when some of the issues could have been easily fixed for them. Our past reviews reflect our standards. We are very careful with our cleaning practices, and we check the appearance of walls, floors, linens and upholstery with every stay. Our contract reads thus: “If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon Check-in, Guest shall inform Homeowner or her property manager immediately.” I did receive a text from the guest, and texted back they were early, and to let Marietta clean the unit before moving in. If the unit was still not clean, we most assuredly would have fixed it. We did agree to an early arrival of the guest, and they arrived much earlier than we were expecting them. Instead of allowing our staff to clean thoroughly, they moved in, on top of her cleaning efforts. I am not surprised that the guest felt things were missed. Cleaning is something we like to be meticulous at, and our staff knows what they are doing. Taken point by point: -The cushions and decorative pillows are all less than a year old, and we cannot find the stains. We do clean the cushions as needed. -The comforter is encased in a duvet which is a stylish removable cover that gets cleaned regularly, however, most of our guests choose not to use it at all, given the climate, and we note this when cleaning (was it found by the cleaner on the chair, the floor?). Our cleaner happily loaned them a comforter from her storage. -This condo is a second home for the owner. She and her husband lived in it for several happy years before re-locating. The bed and couch were purchased with their taste in mind, and this is the first time a guest has said the bed was too hard. We do check the sofa bed regularly; as well, there is a new cool comfort topper on it. It is noteworthy that the sofa was purchased new in 2013. -We go through towels with every stay and replace them as needed. The beach towels have been replaced, as well, recently. In short, we do not feel the need for a “deep clean”, as we clean the unit well and thoroughly with every stay. We are sorry that the kindness of our cleaning staff in allowing the guest to go ahead and move in several hours early made cleaning difficult for her, and a less than thorough job may have happened as a result.

We are always disappointed when a guest is unhappy. I would make a note of 2 things that are important here. First, we make it very clear that the AC is on a timer in the listing. About 60% of the listings I manage have a timer, most with a shorter time on them. This is an option for the owners, and it is also important to note that this is my clients home. We also make it very clear that there is no shared pool on the property. Doug should have noted that before booking. It is always a good idea to let the host know if something is important to your stay. If a potential guest lets me know a pool or central AC is important to them, I would be able to help them find a property that would work better for them. I am glad they otherwise enjoyed their stay.

I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay! I am sorry about the ants and we do like to be proactivewhere any critters ate concerned, so that will be addressed asap. Love to have you back any time! Mahalo nui for taking great care of my clients home!

Mahalo Nui for taking great care of the condo! The owners and I would love to have you back and I can certainly recommend you as a guest to other owners!

We love a happy family vacation! The owners used to live in this condo year round, and the care they took and still take in it's upkeep are evident! We love that your keiki took advantage of the beach toys and equipment! The owners and I would be happy to have you back again! Mahalo for taking such good care of the space!
