Relax to the soothing sounds of Rito Blanco Creek running through the property. Perfect Winter Vacation Cabin

My family and I stayed 3 nights. The cabin was cozy, warm and all around perfect! The accommodations were wonderful and we loved the pool table! We will definitely be back again maybe to see this beautiful place in the Spring!! I would definitely recommend this cabin!

Adorable cabin

The cabin is described perfectly. Only 10 minutes to town and provides the remote Pagosa experience we were looking for. All of the amenities were available.

Home for the Holidays

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at the cabin in Pagosa Springs. The cozy atmosphere, scenic surroundings, and thoughtful amenities made it a perfect holiday retreat. The cabin's charm truly added magic to our Christmas celebrations. Highly recommend!

Great stay

The house was great - very comfortable and cozy. It rained quite a lot while we were there and that was a treat for us. It was real nice for Will and Tiffany to leave a birthday wish for Vicky. Definitely would recommend and/or stay again if we are headed in the direction of Pagosa Springs

2 adults and a dog had more than enough room inside and out. Twin porches -- one in front, other in back -- were a highlight, daytime and night. Extra special was the continuous hummingbird visits to the feeder on the front porch. Close and convenient to Pagosa Springs (for dining out and visiting friends) and to the fishing grounds up and down the San Juan River. Hosts/Owners were very responsive and thoughtful. A real pleasure.

Great cabin!

We adored this cabin. It's just about 5 miles from town and secluded just enough. Will was very generous and responsive to all inquiries. Honestly, this was the best VRBO experience we've had. There were ample baking dishes and utensils, even spices as it was thanksgiving. They had lotion and tissues readily available which by day 2 we were again so thankful. Excellent stay!

A Great Place

This is our second visit to Moose Lodge and loved it every bit as much as the first time....If you're looking for rustic, secluded and cozy, this is the place for you. We had a minor problem and property manager Chris was prompt to respond and resolve the issue quickly. Had several texts with Will and as always he was so accommodating with every question I had. We love this cabin and plan a return visit.

The spruce moose cabin

First and foremost,,,,, the owners are amazing and went above and beyond for our Christmas stay , we asked if we could put up a small tree we were gonna bring , they went out and put up an amazing tree and small decorations all around , they even put up lights outside !!!!!!!! Check in was a breeze , location was just amazing …… let me say this,as a guy who always forgets something or forgets to pack something, don’t worry !!!!!!! This cabin has everything and then some …… all you literally need to do is pack your clothes , a few small toiletries and GO ….. you want for nothing …… cell service is what you expect in the mountains, spotty but there is a land Line and Wi-Fi ….. I would say families of all ages can and will enjoy this but it seems more for adults ( my opinion) either way , DO NOT SECOND GUESS YOURSELF BOOK IT !!!!! We stayed 6 days there and it was well worth every penny my only regret was having to come back home ! Many many thanks to the owners and the property manager Chris and his son for being so helpful, courteous and just awesome . Summer trip will be booked asap , that’s all I can say !!!!

Beautiful cabin in the woods.

The family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you weren’t in the Christmas spirit, this property would definitely get you there. This property is beautiful inside and out. Clean and well appointed. Would love to visit during the summer months.

Annual Rockies trip from Texas

Property was very comfortable and all that was advertised. Beds were comfortable, adequate linens were provided and all appliances worked. The location is convenient to Pagosa Springs, the National Forest and hiking, keeping, etc. checkin directions were clear and complete. Excellent Stay.

Quintessential Cabin Stay

We love this cabin and the property. Multiple places to walk down to live water, pups got to play in the stream, while we sat and had coffee in the perfect spot. The bed & bedding was really comfortable too!

Restorative mountain getaway

My husband, adult son, and I enjoyed three days out of the heat and humidity of Louisiana in this lovely mountain cabin. The setting was quiet, and secluded though still convenient to Pagosa Springs. The cabin was cozy and welcoming and had all the conveniences of home including a very comfortable king bed. The kitchen was particularly well stocked with all necessary cooking supplies and a generous pantry which the hosts provide for their guests' use. Your family won't be sorry if they book a Colorado getaway at Spruce Moose Lodge!

Peaceful, rustic cabin with sounds of water running down the creek on the property.

We loved our stay at Spruce Moose Cabin. We were there for 6 nights. We were on the go everyday but we always looked forward to going home to our cabin. It was very comfortable. I loved the porch swing on the back porch. We enjoyed all the activities available in the area. We rode the Narrow Gauge Train from Durango to Silverton and then rode the bus back for a total different experience. The sights were so beautiful. We also had a 3 hr guided atv tour out of Poncha Springs so we got to drive over Wolf Creek pass to get there and back. The whole day was fun and beautiful. We also did some White Water Rafting out of Durango. Lots of fun! It was always nice to come home to our own "cabin sweet cabin" in the woods. We would definitely like to come back sometime. It was sad leaving.

Ahhhhh!!!

Loved this property! It was secluded, amazingly well stocked for kitchen and bathroom needs, the owner was quick to respond to even the littlest questions I had, was super, super peaceful, lots of wildlife (including a doe waking up the stream and a bear down the road!), and an easy drive to town and all of our hiking trails. . I encourage all to walk down the stream that runs through the property to a smal falls area. We loved it and so did our dogs! Definitely a do-over - Will, when can we come back?!
